"You are welcome: The slogan of the historic Residenzhotel am Schloss in Bad Arolsen! On the way, the view of the castle, which is not part of the hotel, received me in full glory. The Welcome Hotel with its buildings on the right and direct parking around the hotel. The location is quiet, street noise is not possible here. Friendly welcome at the hotel, everything as expected, but: I review the restaurant here, not the rooms and the wellness area! We had a table reserved for the evening. Not the well visited buffet of the evening, but á la carte. The card was simply too tempting!!! Service: We were served very friendly in the evening. Three ladies took care of the pleasant service. It was very well received our desire not to use the courses too quickly. Always the demand we want the timing. In terms of kitchen performance, the service team could not prevail. Drinks Food: The courts of the established card are really tempting. But again: We ordered 1 bottle of water, Apollinaris, 0.7 l to € 5,10 1 non-alcoholic Hugo with € 5,00, as the alcoholic Hugo 1 Aperol Sprizz was calculated to € 5,00. Then the native Düsseldorfer PetraIO Frankenheim Alt vom Fass discovered! ****, he was drunk! You with the old (in the new fashion 0.3 l instead of 0.2 l shape to € 2,90! Seasonal leaf salads with fried shrimps at € 13,00 The salads beautifully fresh and colorful mixed, fine light dressing. The Tempeh stripes in beautiful appetizer part, marinated on request in a BIO Shoyu soy sauce, were great in taste but: cold! Likewise the NUR 3 shrimps of the second starter salad. At the request of the operation, I disturbed the cold of the tempeh and the shrimp. Well, a salad cannot be placed under the heat bridge or served on preheated plates. It just has to go fast, but it wasn't. We looked optimistic against the most important foods: Tagliarini with fried salmon and huge tiles, Passe Pierre Algen and lobster foam at €19.70. The dish was served nicely. The salmon in a good part was praised as Ikarimilachs. I don't suppose it was fresh fish. He was just saved from drying, for the short time before eating, on the plate. Two shrimps (Riesen????? Where? The algae (known as source, sea-saving gel or salicylcone) were present in homeopathic dose on the plate. And I love this nutrient and mineral supplement with the many names so much. The lobster foam thirsty and definitely no foam. The court is unfortunately again only lukewarm and extremely weak in the wort. 2nd main dish: Fried rainbow trout fillet in a light tomato capers Vinaigrette, baby leaf spinach and small potatoes at € 16.40 knew more tasteful to convince. The leaf spinach, rather a lukewarm salad than a vegetables, crunchy and wonderfully seasoned. The trout kicked. Unfortunately: Again rather cold than warm! After the announcement of the service after the starter, I would have expected more here. Actually, we finally wanted to enjoy a semi-liquid throttle. Angepriesen with blackberry and splinneis unfortunately followed the fall of the evening. We shared a part, little space in the stomach (you remember the big weapon in the afternoon at Princess Emma: .The blackberry compote consisted of 6 blackberries with some juice and the sprinkle ice cream could be called Stracciatella... Give the child a big name saves nothing and € 7.60 was not worth this finished product. A crowning conclusion looks different. For dinner there were two good Rieslings, in the 0,25l carafe at 5,50 each. Ambience Cleanliness: Gastronomy is divided into several cozy and beautifully furnished rooms in the historic building. The acoustics are true, even if you are high-performance, you can speak quietly and comfortably. The tables are beautifully covered. Tablecloths, fabric napkins, fresh Gerbera flowers, salt and pepper mill. It's all thought out. Toilets maintained and clean. Conclusion: Bring the food hot, more refined and not on the table with excessive conditions and prices, then it fits! With a toe of almost 100, you can expect this for the evening. 3 – if it results again (but the competition at the place does not sleep! (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely again on a kitchen trip ."

Sehr nettes Personal, haben wirklich sehr schön gegessen und uns so wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war ebenfalls super lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Die Leute dort sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen war kalt und meine Pommes verbrannt. Dafür sind die Cocktails der Hammer egal ob mit, oder ohne Alkohol.

Auch hier verstehe ich einige Bewertungen nicht. Ok bei meinem Besuch war kein Fussball, wäre sonst auch nicht rein gegangen. Ich habe Coktail bestellt und habe Coktail bekommen. 7,50 ist ein normaler Preis deshalb auch nicht überzogen.Sehr netter Barmann.Deshalb 5 Sterne von mir. Voir le carte

Zum Fußballgucken ok, thekenpersonal gibt sich Mühe ihre Gäste zu bedienen, schafft es leider nie. Personal ist während Fußball läuft überfordert. Komme seit Monaten zum Fußball gucken und mehr als zwei Bier pro Spiel bekomme ich nie angeboten....... Fußball Top, Bierchen beim Fussball Flop 2019 hat sich nichts geändert, der Beamer ist alle zwei Wochen “kaputt“

Waren zum schönen Gruppen treffen dort. Schöne separate Sitzgelegenheit. Essen hat gut geschmeckt, aber die Bedienung war aus meiner Sicht katastrophal. Je später es wurde, desto uninteressanter wurden wir, es wurde nur noch sehr wenig nach neuen Getränken gefragt. Aber der Oberknaller war der jüngere Herr vom Service, der sich ganz cool gefühlt hat mit seinen Blödeln Sprüchen. In der Gruppe sind die Sprüche sehr schlecht angekommen. Wäre ich alleine gewesen hätte ich nach dem ersten Spruch das Restaurant sofort verlassen. Werde wegen Ihm nicht mehr hingehen. Zu später Stunde(1 Uhr) fragten wir z.b. ob sie schließen wollen oder wir noch bleiben können. Antwort:“ mir doch egal was ihr macht“...

"Although the shepherd is only 20 minutes' drive away, it took a long time to enjoy excellent food thanks to PetraIO's recommendation. My acquaintance, over 80 years old, is still very pleasant, but strongly obstructed by rheumatism and sought a “Sieg” that accompanies it in the shepherds. And I liked to sacrifice myself! However, a problem could be the search for a parking lot because we had to park as close as possible to the restaurant. And when we arrived there for lunch, there were no free parking on the entire Schlossstraße. So I first parked in the side entrance, my acquaintances led the entrances to the restaurant and asked the boss where I could park reasonably. She offered me the place in front of the two private garages of the restaurant on the back of the house, which I of course appreciated. A great praise for this service! Entering the guest room is on the left side of the Bistro and Lounge area. Here you can relax at the counter, at tables or tables in front of a revolving bank and choose from the bistro card snacks and finger foods, e.g. baked ciabatta, oven potatoes, chicken skewers, shrimps, cocktails and long drinks. For the evening (between 17.00 and 20.00 “Bread and Wine” are offered: one litre of Merlot or Chardonnay, with a basket with fresh baguette and garlic herbal butter for a total of 17,00 €. I quote from Petra’s criticism: “A modern, clear line. Cream, brown and red tones give the room warmth. Beautiful tables with table runners and fabric napkins. Candle and fresh flower on the table. Bright but pleasant lighting.” That's right! A young lady and the restaurant manager Mrs Wessel also took care of us very friendly, competent and attentive. When submitting the high-quality, red integrated menus, we were asked for possible already existing beverage requests. As aperitif we chose a KIR “HOLUNDER”, elderflower syrup with champagne (4.80). Although the “Hugo” is actually out, it still tastes to me, especially when it is so perfectly prepared with lime and mint and properly cooled. The choice of dishes varies approximately every six weeks, depending on the seasonal offer and also shows regional influences. A slope to Mediterranean and Asian cuisine is distinctive. The always fresh products are processed by the cook in two menus, three appetizers, two soups, two pasta, meat and fish dishes as well as three desserts, all always imaginatively combined. With the Hugos the greeting came from the kitchen, like with Petra different bread and slightly roasted baguette slices with strongly seasoned herbal butter, geese malt and a pepper/chili cream, quite sharp but extremely tasty. Unlike Petra, I tried the goose bump, that's high quality, but I don't have to. After a pleasant waiting period, our two main dishes, for me the table top with carrots and roasted potatoes (23.00 € , plus a soft velvet (0.33 for 2.50 €) and for my acquaintance of the fish stew with chorizo (24.00 € , plus a 0.2 glass Pinot Grigorio for 4.40 €. So far I've eaten it with riding in some form, here he was completely gone, so I was very excited. Both dishes looked very tempting on the well heated white plates. A small bowl of Aioli with fresh baguette slices was also served with the fish stew. My acquaintances revealed every bite of the quality of fish, broth and also Aioli. That's delicious! Even without a ride, my table top was completely convincing. The longitudinally cut carrots, slightly glazed, crunchy, of wonderful own taste, the halved holes perfectly boiled and again briefly roasted in the pan, with delicious roasted flavors. The previously marinated beef almost broke to the tongue, the Jus just a poem! Everything was good. There was nothing left on the record. And at home I would have licked the plate. A dessert no longer fits. That's why we finally had a hot, strong espresso Macchiato (2,00 € wounded! My conclusion is as with Petra: Absolutely back! If you want to pamper yourself in a culinary way, it is here."
