A La Turka - Menu

Fantastic meal, great quality good tasting food left feeling totally full. Would highly recommend. Went at 4pm so nice and quiet but good music and nice and warm so atmosphere good.

Mt friends and I enjoyed a lovely mezze dinner yesterday at A La Turka in Northgate, Canterbury. I thoroughly recommend it if you like Turkish food. Great service, there was music and a belly dancer which added to the atmosphere. Will definitely return! Thank you!

My boyfriend and I visited with a voucher for a late Christmas present, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the environment was warming, the food was to a beautiful standard and we will definitely be back for more! Great value for money and delicious cocktails! Thank you! :

Pop in for lunch had lamb beyti and wow what can I say....it was amazing. We had travelled up from.hastings for a short stay and come across this restaurant. Would highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble the food was outstanding and left a healthy tip too. Definitely must try we will certainly be going back

Fantastic local restaurant, great menu with lots of options. The food is delicious every time we visit and we are never disappointed. The price is real value for money. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service is always excellent. This is a great place for Christmas work parties, family celebrations or a regular meal out. Highly recommended.

Newly relocated to Kent and wanted to explore Canterbury. It was a meal of 2 parts, either extremely tasty or extremely bland. The calamari was overcooked, the fritters and lamb underseasoned but everything else was delicious. Portions are generous and about average on price. The staff were polite and professional. If you eat outside (on a Saturday night) you contend with noisy traffic and people smoking, inside rather loud music.

The food was well cooked and very tasty however, the passion fruit moiijo I ordered was not so good and at £10 a cocktail this was disappointing. We sat near the door which was in constant use so we kept getting a cold draft which was annoying. If you eat there make sure they don't seat you near the door as you'll get a constant chilly reminder that it's winter now. Apart from that I would go back there again but ask for a different area to sit down in and not order a cocktail.

The Food came out which was cold, when we spoke to the waiter he was arguing with us that it’s was a busy night and basically that’s how it was. We asked to speak to the manager who came and we explained it to her that out off 3 meals only one was hot she took them away and it was obvious that they must have reheated them in a microwave as they were back in no time and the food was warm not hot! We was much looking forward to eating her but night was totally let down by food and service.

Amazing restaurant with fantastic staff. Very clean and we 'll decorated. Nice gentle music in the background. Genuine authentic Turkish menu. The flavours are unreal. You won 't be disappointed and you certainly won 't leave Feeling hungry. I had the King prawns to start, the sauce was amazing even my wife who doesn 't eat fish enjoyed the sauce with Pitta bread. Prawns were also really nice quality and cooked really well. My wife had Mititi kofte, again fantastic starter. Main I had Halep Kebab, which was unreal. Well recommend, a nice kick to it but not so spicy a wimp like me couldn 't enjoy it. Simply brilliant. My wife had mixed shish with yogurt. The lamb was amazing, chicken brillian...
