"We waited about five minutes with our meals in front of us, but no cutlery was provided, so one of us had to go and get it ourselves. One member of our group, who ordered a very simple vegetarian breakfast roll, still hadn’t received their food, despite seeing it sitting ready for a while. It was only brought out after we alerted the waiting staff. When the meals were served, they were obviously on hot plates that required carrying with a towel. However, one was mistakenly placed in front of me for another diner after he identified it as his. The waitress then asked me to pass it to him, despite my having carried it out with a towel. A refund was issued upon request, but it’s unfortunate that it had to come to that. After such a great experience on my first visit and having recommended the café to many friends, I’m sad to say that I won’t be returning or recommending it to anyone else."

It's always a pleasure to visit Taste. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely kind. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the coffee is always served hot. Well done, Taste!

Great venue but Pork n rice Lunch Pot only provided the one piece of pork. The chicken pot very generous. Staff need to clear tables outside quicker and cutlery needs to be provided before meals not keep you waiting after meal delivered. Great potential just need some direction.

This is a really nice and relaxed place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food was excellent, and they offered a wide selection of local beers, allowing me to taste a few before making my choice! They also have a fantastic variety of wines and gins. I enjoyed a delicious beetroot and feta salad bowl that was bursting with flavor. It's definitely worth a visit. The service was good too; you simply order at the counter after taking a look at the menu! Voir le carte

This was probably one of the most beautiful vegetarian breakfasts I’ve ever had. I wish I had taken a photo, but it was so delicious that I couldn’t stop myself from digging in! It featured lovely veggie sausages, a perfectly cooked fried egg, excellent hash browns, and gorgeous fried mushrooms, all served with a slice of borodinsky bread and a pomegranate toast, plus an Americano coffee for under 5 pounds. The location is convenient, just near the Exeter train station and right on the high street.

I wanted to expand on my review after seeing some less favorable comments here. I absolutely adore Llandudno; it’s a charming Victorian seaside town that’s beautiful but in need of some modernization. 3rdspace is truly a breath of fresh air for the area, offering a modern and eclectic atmosphere, along with thoughtfully crafted menus and a variety of food options, including vegan dishes. They also foster a sense of community with entertainment events. I really love this place and hope it continues to thrive locally, especially since it already supports local beers and spirits. My suggestion would be to further enhance your vegan offerings and focus on that direction, but whatever the future...

"Whenever I get the inclination to write a review it’s usually because it’s so good and I want to shout about my experience to everyone… however this is not my usual 5* recommendation! As locals we have visited this cafe on a few occasions for breakfast or a coffee stop. It’s a great location, nice decor, dog friendly and delicious food. What’s not to like? Well, the staff, or more specifically the owner! She lacks any customer service skills, she smiles through gritted teeth, orders her staff around while she stands observing (or waiting for an argument . Each time we’ve visited she’s had an issue with something. Once she argued with me because I asked for my latte to be served in a cup rather than a tall glass. She proceeded to try and educate me on coffee making (I’m barista trained ! She reluctantly gave me it to me in a mug with a jug of extra milk which wouldn’t fit into the mug anyway! More recently we arrived, it was quiet, and chose to sit in the window (the largest table as we had our dog and didn’t want him to be in the way. She rushed over and demanded we sat at another table because she “couldn’t afford for us to take up a larger table”. We moved without an issue but she was very confrontational (as always and made the rest of our dining experience uncomfortable. So uncomfortable in fact that despite being ravenous we almost didn’t order. The cafe remained quiet throughout our time there, plenty of empty tables and yet she proceeded to use the larger window table to accommodate her staff, herself and a friend who popped in. How is that fair? So my advice to you as a fellow catering/ hospitality manager is… Learn from your Trip Advisor feedback, Book yourself on a free customer service course and lead by example and if you are worried about costs reduce the number of staff. 5 staff on duty in a cafe that seats approx 25 people at full capacity is not needed. Maybe the owner should put her feet up at home and let the lovely younger people do their thing. They all look so nervous around her and are almost too afraid to speak. I’m sure they’d do a far better job without her monitoring their every move. Even the Chef (her husband maybe? looks petrified of her!! Certain people are not cut out for customer facing roles and she is one of them! I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read any of these reviews as she’s been like this since my first visit 5 years ago!! What a shame. This place could be a thriving business and a welcoming village cafe but I’m sure her confrontational attitude and unwelcoming nature put people off from returning. Such a shame as the food and coffee are delightful"
