"Beautiful setting and lovely hotel. Bar and Restaurant is visually impressive. For Vegetarians, food was average in our opinion. Far too close to being a Vegan menu, little inspiration away from the actual cooked veg. Jerusalem Artichoke was a standout as were the x2 desserts. Other courses need more thought/imagination. Add a foam, pasta dish, egg? Can do so much more. Service also bit of a let down also. Nice head waiter but asking menu list number for wine selected and whether we wanted tea/coffee before we actually finished dessert wasn't in keeping with their aspiration of being a fine dining venue. Lady on service also seemed to take exception when we queried the lack of Goats Curd on main course. Rather than take the plate away to correct/redress, we were bought out the curd on a side dish. Head waiter did acknowledge error and did go out of his way to make amends. That was appreciated. Would return to hotel, but restaurant menu needs revamping"

for the first time around 1215, but definitiw not the last! reagan and his team offer top service and chef tims eating is michelin star material-his venison dish was from the charts a place good to experience the effort

Food and restaurant excellent. Starter portions very small (single tortellini). Ambiance spoilt by thumping techno music coming through open door to bar disco, although volume reduced after we mentioned this. Would visit again. Voir le carte

Very limited menu with only 4 choices of each course. The food we had was nicely presented but nothing special for the prices. Wine list fairly standard, again nothing exciting. Service was very good and friendly. It still feels pretty new and was very quiet hence little atmosphere. Decorated to appeal to a Middle East taste, not offensive but a bit glitzy.

first time at 1215, booked for 8pm Friday night, I think there were only two tables being used in the whole restaurant, the whole place was very quiet, I have to say the waitress that served us was very good, all though she only had us to look after. I 've eaten at many ' 'fine dining ' ' restaurants and have to say even for fine dining the portion sizes were miniscule, I think i could easily of got all three courses in one baguette, our whole party of 4 commented on this, the food (what there was of it) was cooked very well and tasted delicious.
