"After the amazing Google reviews I have trouble believing the experience I had there today. Was I in a different restaurant? I even checked the photos of the interior the same place. We ordered a starter and a main meal. The starter small tortilla, was an untoasted store bought we saw how the waiter passed it to the kitchen flour tortola with canned cold beef ! and a slice of cabbage on top. I am not exaggerating. It was something a college student would whip up after a night out drinking at 3 am. The main course dish of the day were dry pale chicken peaces boiled in coconut milk accompanied by half raw boiled onion pieces and flavoured with capers. The ginger that was supposed to be there was missing, though I don't think that would have made much difference at this point. One would think it can't be worse, but the dish was accompanied by an absolute crime mushy overcooked unseasoned rice. Now when I say overcooked, I don't mean slightly sticky. No no, the rice had the consistency of baged rice that was boiled for 30 minutes after it was done. It was practically a paste at this point. Glue. Molded into a round shape on the plate. Both meals were prepared by someone that obviously can't cook. I am not talking about presentation, freshness of the ingredients or innovation. I am talking basicly edible food at this point. Frozen meal or something out of the can would be better options, because they still have some culinary thoughts behind them. The dishes served to us today have no place in a restaurant, of any kind. It is something you would expect to come out if a person that can barely cook am egg decides to try making a dish at home following a recipe, decides to cut corners mid way and is missing half of the ingredients. 1 Star for the horrible food. The service gets 1 start too, because the waiter clearly knew what he was serving, since he slipped in store bought tortillas to the kitchen staff. Now I don't know what happened in the kitchen today. Was the Chef sick? Did someone fill in? Was it sabotage? The food we were served did not look similar to the pictures posted here today. If something unexpected happens, please close the restaurant for the day and don't expose your customers to this."
