"the location is a beautiful terrace with views of the pool/garden area. the service was very good, friendly, polite, without being familiar. while the setting was beautiful, there was a slight feeling of “stuffiness”. one of us had the menu valrugues €105, the other the menu decouverte €90. the valrugues suffered from too many different aromes and textures, some of which worked and others did not. the quality of food and the preparation was without question. the decouverte offered simple choices for each of the 3 courses; fish was chosen for the escape and plate. this menu seemed much better to work; the aromen were reported together and the fish was without any mistake. decouverte offers a better value for money with a more satisfying finish in the mouth. the impression of the valrugues was that it tried too hard. a rewarding experience but wisely choose."
