Primero por la tranquilidad de la calle, segundo porque he pedio la HAMBURGUESA d Argentina (no recuerdo el nombre) que a pesar de que la carne para mi gusto le faltaba un toquecito de sal, estaba RIQUISIMA. "Without words, a 10 place and an incredible experience from the moment we entered. We went without a reservation, but they told us we could sit at the bar, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to dine there so we agreed. The bar waiter was incredible, very friendly and everyone was attentive to us and our comfort, they offered us a table as soon as it became free but we decided to stay at the bar because we loved the waiter's recommendations. First of all, the churritos are delicious! And the sauce too. The seaweed gnocchi are crazy, full of flavor. The octopus is mandatory, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the texture is a 10 and the flavor is another story. Since we liked the food so much, we ordered the 2 desserts they had (we couldn't choose). The best tiramisu I have ever tried, the incredible presentation and the flavor of 1000 and the lemon dessert (I don't remember exactly what it was) is very fresh and the flavor is surprising, especially the touch of the petazetas. "Don’t get me wrong, the food was perfectly ok, normal Andalusian fried seafood and fish, steak and chips, and the ubiquitous chick peas and spinach. But what a disappointment from the meals we’ve had here before which were inspired, modern, fusion based. The meals centred around tuna and worth the drive from Cadiz for lunch. Today no tuna dishes because there was no delivery? Barbate is literally down the road and it’s the height of tuna season now. Service was a bit surly and they had to be reminded for the wine and forgot our coffees. Perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen. Last time, in October, I photographed our dishes as they were exquisite and this time it just resembled what we’ve been served time and time again, anywhere in Andalusia. Such a shame."

"Para mí es el sitio más bonito y con la atmósfera más espectacular, cada vez que voy a Tarifa, tengo que ir a tomar algo y comer allí, sentarme y pasarlo bien, ver a la gente con tan buen rollo y sentirse también allí, ya me desconecta te de estrés de la semana, sencillamente espectacular. Os recomiendo a todos, tenéis que ir y pasar un día o un rato allí. "I hadn't been to Bolonia in years so followed one of my favourite Spanish rules turn left and keep going until the road stops and it leads you here. It's such a refreshing place. The last restaurant on the beach with views to Morocco. The beach wasn't full and there were only 10 people or so having lunch and drinks. Do not expect 5 star this is a beach bar. I had 2 cervecitas only 2 euros each and sat outside in the sun, listening to the wind (not as strong as tarifa), the Spanish music and the occasional stray dog. They have a huge Newfoundland inside but it's very friendly! So, cool and cheap beer, parking outside until 11pm for 1 Euro, lovely Spanish music, an awesome beach and stunning views. Well worth a visit! They also have windsurf hire/windsurf school to the side.One word of caution: beware the wind keeping you cool and tricking you into thinking that the sun isn't burning! Otherwise another Spanish secret revealed :D"

"My wife and I ate here on two occasions and left each time delightfully pleased. The first night we ordered a lasagna and a large salad, both of which were very good. On the second night, I ordered the pasta with pesto, she had a pasta with pear sauce. OMG!! It was perhaps the best pesto I have ever tasted, which is saying a lot, (I LOVE pesto! and I continued to tell my wife that I felt sorry for her because she is missing out, but she was grinning ear to ear with her meal as well. Half way through, we switched plates and I had to admit, I was mistaken, SHE had ordered the best meal on the table, as she sung praises on the pesto. Wow oh wow! She saved a little of the pesto for me, so after finishing the pear sauce plate and was tempted to begin licking it, she offered me what remained of the pesto and I switched my mind once more, stating that the pesto was the better of the two. When food is this good, and you'd swear that the one in your mouth is the best plate, almost forgetting the wonderful taste in your mouth just moments ago when that taste had you grinning ear to ear with joy and are unable to settle upon which meal is in fact the better of the two, you my friend, have a wonderful predicament to find yourself. We may take a trip back here just to eat here again. We traveled to Italy (again this year, and the food here is aligned with any place we ate there. Two thumbs up!"

"Descubrimos este sitio hace un par de años y siempre que visitamos Tarifa, vamos a comer a La Garrocha. Principalmente porque quedamos atrapados por el sabor tan único y espectacular de su tosta de atún rojo con trufa. La mejor que hemos probado en la vida. Volveremos y repetiremos una y otra vez. Tienen una buena selección de vinos, tomates ecológicos de Conil y debes preguntar por los platos especiales fuera de carta (ayer tenían gambones flambeados con salsa de carabineros y estaban de muerte). Es un sitio que se llena rápido así que mejor reservar. Siempre que hemos ido, hemos tenido una buena atención y rápida de sus camareros. Una gran elección si quieres comer en Tarifa."

Ninguno pudimos acabarnos el plato y eso que estaba todo muy bueno. Doy punto importante a los sitios te ponen suficiente comida. Odio pedir una ración o media, y parece que te dan una tapa escasa, pagando un dinero... Aquí no te pasará (y que sigan así También hay buenos postres, pero no pudimos pedir por estar llenos.
