"We stayed here some nights ago, attracted by the excellent reviews. Honestly already the need to read the menu from a wall doesn't make me mad, however it's okay, we accept the extravagance. The good appetizers, nothing to say, but the big disappointment is reserved for later dishes. In my first was used LA PANNA! My friend and I are basic; at first I believed it was only a characteristic of the dish I ordered, but then I see another different first at the next table and also there is a sauce with cream. My friend instead took the tripe but also in that case a disappointment: it seemed triple boiled and then immersed in so much sauce. We were so disappointed that we took nothing else. "We stayed in an air bnb on the same street anf the owner had recommended this restaurant. On our first night, we visited them and we ended up going there for every night of our stay! Firstly, the restaurant has such simple and lovely decor and its pristine clean! The service we received from the owner and the lovely Brisilda was exceptional she helped us choose the dishes as we were unaware of what to order and all her recommendations were great. The food was so authentic with fresh ingredients and the pizza was also great, cooked right infront of our eyes on the open wood fire. They kindly offered us complimentary limoncello and also prosecco on our last night when we came to collect our pizzas. Our experience in this restaurant really made our trip to Florence even more special and we will definitely come visit them again when we are ever back in Florence. Grazie to the chef, the owner and Brisilda for their outstanding hospitality!!"

"Great place for lunch or dinner on the hillside which is about 5 degrees cooler than the city center. You should go here for the overall great food, service and location. Everything on their menu is great from the seafood, steaks, pizza, dolce to prosecco. All very good and of mid tier pricing. The service was fast and very accommodating. One thing you may want to know is that although there is great parking, accessibility for handicap maybe a challenge walking through the gravel and also the restaurant is quite small. "I didn't know the alley. "we did a simple aperitif, because in fact this year they do not, but we were there and we were kind to give us the option of a prosecco with chips and peanuts. the place is wonderful, the photos do not make the idea of the almost fairytale atmosphere. and then at the entrance there are, I believe, 4 young, beautiful, elegant and very kind waiters. as restaurant I read about the other reviews, but it is quite expensive, about 70 euros per head, sin."

"definitely valid place, especially in summer to spend some hours in the cool. for those who have known this restaurant for a long time, however, it is undeniable that it is no longer the workshop of the past. do not make pizzas and the menu is decidedly resized compared to before, with the grill that now allows only to choose which steak or which fillet to eat, while before there were also sausages, braid and chicken, proposed in a mixed grill for two people according to me excellent also for the value for money. report that remains only for the good wine card today, since the meat (sashi in my case) was discreetly disappointing. under the expectations also croutons and croutons."

"I'm embarrassed to say that I forgot to do a review of Trattoria I Ricchi, which is just outside of Florence. This was a terrible oversight because Trattoria i Ricchi was the best restaurant we visited on our Mediterranean vacation last year. The service was first rate. The views of Tuscany from the restaurant were incredible. The food was amazing, and it really wasn't very expensive at all. I can't say enough good things about Trattoria I Ricchi. We had a party of 10, and, unfortunately, we arrived late because of some GPS issues. Not to worry, they saved our table by the window, and they could not have been nicer to a group of Americans who didn't speak much Italian! This is a terrific restaurant! (One word of warning. Don't just rely on the address and your GPS to find the place. Look at the location on a map and drive to that area. When we simply entered the address on our phones, it took us to a location that was 5 miles away. One of us, put in a location nearby."

"we returned to this restaurant for a quiet lunch and did not disappoint us! the atmosphere is warm and rustic, as well as the set table and the types of dishes proposed. the service is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the outside is disturbed by large antennas and repeaters, otherwise it would be ideal: on the road between the woods, with a beautiful view on the sixth floor and the mountains in the distance. on the menu there are several gluten-free options, with bread and pasta; they are attentive to the different food needs. I took as a starter the pecorino with honey, then a pasta dish (without gluten) to porcini mushrooms. the portions are abundant and we also brought bread and crushed still warm (for me gluten-free bread packaged.) the flavors are those of the Tuscan tradition, true: excellent fresh porcini! with three prosecchi, two bottles of water and coffee, two other appetizers and two first we spent about euro. a right price for the quantity and quality of the raw material. recommended especially during the weekend, combined with a beautiful outdoor trip!"

"the place is in a wonderful location. historical place, among other 23 years ago the lunch of our wedding was made here, I was not back with this new management and I was wonderfully impressed with how they could set up the outside: carefully arranged, courteous and attentive staff. impeccable service. We were in four: I, my husband and our children. cutter for two, two first ones (strawberries,) a cut and the big fried. wine water, a dessert and two bitters. we enjoyed everything we ordered, the portions are plentiful (so if something is advanced is only because they were more than generous portions) all this with the view of the beautiful panorama as I said, which reserve the place. last night then perfect climate after a warm and tiring day. a sincere thanks again for the beautiful evening."
