"Firstly I 've eaten here in the afternoon for tapas and found it to be good and a pleasant location. The evening was another matter. The service is extremely slow and anything other than burgers and chips is a challenge. My meal was cod in garlic, it was dry and covered in oil. Burned garlic comsumed the flesh of the fish. As we all know, you burn garlic the taste becomes bitter. The oil, which there was plenty of.... Covered the veg, majority of which were courgette. Courgette soaks up oil like a sponge..... Then the obligatory decorative oil on top. So much oil it was unbelievable how the flesh of the fish stuck to the skin. Obviously burned to it in the same pan, the garlic was burned. My partner had a pasta dish with steak. The sauce had split and again oil.... The pardon peppers were deep fried. Full of oil and salt. not the best . I ate so little of them for starter, the waiter said he would leave them to accompany the main course..... He needn 't have bothered. They were stone cold by the time the main course arrived. Another couple left after waiting nearly an hour for food. I would say the restaurant was 50% capacity, of those some people were on final course or ready to leave. The waiting staff were indeed waiting a lot, and obviously avoiding tables that were waiting too long. Thankfully we ordered a side of fries. They were actually quite good. Ironically, the one thing that had a right to be covered in oil... Wasn 't? Work that one out. All in all not a good experience, but brilliant start to a diet. First place this hol I didn 't leave a tip, then again...... Sack the chef"
