"We had a wonderful lunch at Lisca Bianca yesterday. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. They were delightful. We started by splitting an appetizer of Shrimp in Kataifi and a bottle of Prosecco. Delicious. We then had the Swordfish Ravioli and the Fried Seafood with a Fennel and Blood Orange Salad. Fabulous. We finished by splitting the Dessert of 3 house specialties. Spectacular. All for Euro 75. Highly recommend this place."

"È il classico ristorante che non ti aspetti di avere a due passi ed invece ! Collocato al centro di Catona sulla Nazionale è facile da raggiungere ed è anche abbastanza facile parcheggiare nelle vicinanze. Abbiamo apprezzato l'ottimo antipasto di pesce fresco con frittelle di neonata calde e altri ingredienti saporitissimi . Ottimi i primi ma anche se non li abbiamo gustati ho apprezzato il modo di cucinare anche i secondi , visti in altri tavoli. Eccellente il semifreddo di mandorle , da non perdere . La gentilezza e cordialità dei titolari completa il locale . Ottimo"

"amazingly traditional meat not sure how the previous customer had a bad experience, but our experience was 100%. the 2 waitress was so friendly. as an Australian traveler, our Italian was not the best, but we tried to communicate. the antipasto was amazing, the fatucine vegetarian had so much taste, the octopus was the best we had tasted so far, the mushes had so much taste. last but not least the tartufo was in front of the site. We traveled to Croatian before we come here, we are impressed. we had an absolutely amazing meal, many thanks. we recommend you visit them because they will not be disappointed."

"questo ristorante non delude mai. ci torno sempre volentieri sia per la qualità del cibo sia per la cordialità e la gentilezza del sig. maurizio. abbiamo cenato scegliendo il menù giropizza preceduto da antipasti come patatine con wurstel e pancetta, polpette di melanzane, tra l 'altro buonissime, e crocchette dipatate. le pizze servite, anche con gusti a richiesta, erano ricche di zutati e con una consistsenza della pasta né troppo biscottata né troppo sottile da non poterla mangiare con le mani. abbiamo cenato nel dehor e devo dire che,visto il caldo afoso della città, é stato un piacere godere anche di una temperaturea fresca andateci, di sicuro sarete soddisfatti!"

"Possibly the best meal we've eaten in Italy. There's no menu, but the owner will talk you through what's on offer each day. Huge amounts of Calabrian food are then magicked up by the chef. We had the antipasti (aubergine caponata, pickled cabbage, frittata, amongst other things), a primo (pasta with cheese and walnuts), washed down by a local red. The lemon sorbet as a pudding was superb too. We were especially pleased that the restaurant was able to offer a range of vegetarian dishes. The atmosphere is wonderfully homely. Not many places in Reggio offer local cuisine at an affordable price, so Le vie del gusto is a real gem and not to be missed."

"Always a pleasant confirmation. An intimate, almost minimal place. The fish is excellent and excellently processed. The wine list is discreet. In any case, yes. Forse è cambiata la gestione… la musica è sicuramente cambiata.Il ristorante si è allargato con tavoli ubicati nella strada prospiciente il locale.Arrivati alle 2130 vediamo il menu dopo mezz’ora.I camerieri sono gentili ma poco preparati circa le richieste degli ingredienti che compongono i piatti. Un’ora ed un quarto di attesa per l’antipasto , non all’altezza delle prelibatezze degli anni precedenti.Due arancini insapori , uno al nero di seppia l’altro anemico ed appena sporcato di pesce ,stile rosticceria.Gli involtini di pesce spada secchi e inspiegabilmente irrorati di glassa al balsamico …perché? A mio parere non merita i 37 euro richiesti. Dopo un’altra ora di attesa , arrivano i secondi .Frittura molliccia e non invitante . Ci viene proposto un filetto di ricciola buono a dire della cameriera perfetto per due persone. Facciamo l’errore di non chiedere il peso ed al momento del conto ci ritroviamo 70 € di ricciola forse perfetto per 4 non per 2 Conto 160 euro in due Non ne faccio una questione di soldi bensì di qualità. "Sarebbe un posto anche carino, ma sono un tantino perplesso. Lo staff all'ingresso, un ragazzo rasato e mi pare con occhiali, molto garbato. Lui meriterebbe 5 stelle! Altri mi hanno lasciato perplesso coi modi di fare (esempio: venire al tavolo, poggiarti un piatto senza dire nulla e andare via Ma capisco che ci siano clienti difficili e magari era una giornata storta...bah! Cibo buono, chicken wings buone, burger buono, le patatine inguardabili ma dal sapore decente. 3 stelle che potrebbero essere 5 con qualche accorgimento in più."

"The dishes are well prepared. The place seems neat and the presentation is beautiful. But the waiting time between the order and delivery is borderline scamming. They take up to 40 minutes to deliver sashimi, which was the first course. They forgot a lot of the orders, which took another 20 minutes to arrive. It raises the suspicion of it being on purpose. Summing it up: Great food, scamming service."

"We were there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We walked in at around 12 PM. The place was empty and we were lucky because in about 10 minutes it was totally full with people waiting in line. We had a bunch of dishes like Broccoli, Spinach, Eggplant balls with Cheese, Sword fish, Potatoes with Onions, and a few others. Could not finish about half, took it home. The price was 13 Euro for two of us. The guy at the food counter was very pleasant, the lady who took the money was great too. All in all a great experience in Reggio, dining with the locals."

The staff is perhaps the only positive thing welcoming.. but the bottle of wine that was served to us came to the table directly open (one thing unacceptable food was definitely precooked and frozen.. and the bitter and salty account. "Beautiful, elegant and cool place with great view on the Stretto. However I felt disappointed by the overall experience. The place is a common area divided into Restaurant (on the left and Pizzeria (on the right , with the same style and sharing the same open kitchen serving both areas. Hence the menus are different: some dishes are served only in the Pizzeria and others only in the restaurant. No flexibility. True, you are advised at the entrance. However if you 'd like to have a fried paranza (fried fish with fried chips the waiter will tell you no way: not possible selecting french fries. And then you will see waiters with french fries exiting from the same place of your fried fish and going somewhere else, maybe 3 tables on the left!. So you 'll find out that chips are available, but only for the Pizzeria section! (maybe fried fish together with fried chips is too low level? Same situation if among your guests a person would like to eat pizza: NO WAY. Your friend needs to be seated few meters away! (maybe alone? . Is this a way to look cool? Or rather just to annoy the restaurant guests? Finally, the menu in the restaurant section looks done in a way to appear sophisticated and original, but somehow is too pretentious: I had the feeling that the place privileges appearance to substance. Food was fair but far from memorable."

"Located only 5 minutes from the main pedestrian street of Corso Garibaldi. It is worth finding your way to this smaller neighborhood restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the staff who went out of their way to help English speaking customers when everyone else were locals. There is an English menu. This place offers both pastas and meat dishes. Portion size was generous. Food quality was high and served very hot. Authentic local flavors. A great selection. Not unreasonable prices. A half litre of the house wine only 6 euros. Pasta dishes were 10 14 euros. Nicely decorated place. If you want to eat authentic food like the locals, in a friendly atmosphere, this is a must try place!"

Si mangia pesce senza sentire i sapori tipici. Dopo una ricca mangiata ho dormito pure bene, senza alcun tipo di disturbo. Se dovessi tornarci ci penserei parecchie volte prima. My favorite though is the aperitif , as it can be a fun substitute to dinner as it is filling, but it also satisfies all taste buds cause of the huge variety and quality of finger food! "Yesterday, we went to 4 people in this Bistro, taking advantage of a coupon purchased on Groupon. The menu was the following, at a very good price! appetizer with sea caprese first choice between fresh pasta agnelotti filled with salmon spaghetti with seafood fantasy of the chef second choice between mixed fry proposal from the chef grilled sea bream mixed salad sweet grandmother 's cake glass of white wine one liter of water for every 2 people I can 't say that we found ourselves very, very bad! I do not know where to begin !!! Okay let 's start from the dirty fork on the table? or from the glasses with halos of I don 't know what yet and I don 't want to know! The appetizer the caprese di mare was served without bread (the bread arrived when we almost finished the second one . The appetizer consisted of a bit of mussels and clams with a cream of parsley and two tomatoes stuffed with mozzarella, parsley and boh, I left it ... Let 's move on to the first! Very bad! I took spaghetti with seafood ... Have you ever seen green spaghetti with seafood? Well yes! No comment! For the second I took the sea bream and I left that too and I tried the mixed fry from my boyfriend and it was full but full of oil! Then the side dish arrives (because it is known that the salad will take you apart and not with the second . without words! we all left it! Finally a piece of grandmother 's cake that was perhaps the least worst, but nothing special. I went really fast, I can only put 1 to everything! L 'antipasto consisteva in un po ' di cozze e vongole con una cremina di prezzemolo e due pomodori ripieni di mozzarella, prezzemolo e boh, l 'ho lasciato... Passiamo al primo! Pessimo! Io ho preso gli spaghetti allo scoglio... Avete mai visto spaghetti allo scoglio verdi?? Ebbene si! No comment! Per secondo ho preso l 'orata e ho lasciato anche quella e ho provato la frittura mista dal mio ragazzo ed era piena ma piena zeppa d 'olio! Dopodiché arriva il contorno (perchè è risaputo che l 'insalata te la portano a parte e non con il secondo . senza parole! l 'abbiamo lasciata tutti! Per finire un pezzo di torta della nonna che forse era la meno peggio, ma niente di che. Sono uscita veramente digiuna, non posso che mettere 1 a tutto! La cameriera era garbata e tutto però non ci ritornerei mai e poi mai. Manco gratis!"
