"Meh, it's okay. Been a few times. It's like a Chinese takeaway but fast casual. Hot food quality is average, sushi is maybe slightly better than supermarket. The primary shortcoming for me is in user experience. A few pointers: They really pack the pots with food. This is a good thing value wise, but it makes it difficult to eat without spilling some. You also end up with a thick layer of topping that makes it impossible to access the rice/noodles until you've eaten half of it. I think next time I order the regular size I'll ask them to use the pot they use for the large size. Most options are very light on the vegetables, too much meat for my taste. It got a bit monotonous eating the same meat over and over without enough vegetables to balance it out. The rice/noodles to topping ratio is really off. Much more toppings than rice/noodles. Again, I suppose this is good value, but it's the reverse of how it is in other places. I would prefer to have more of the base and less of the calorically dense topping. I could probably ask them to change this when ordering, but I'm reviewing the default configuration so others know what to expect. Ordering process could have been clearer. On the TV menu screens they lump every option together and don't have separate categories. More effort is required to grok the menu than would be needed if they separated stuff into categories. This may be my specific instance, but the server got sauce down the side of my pot. I didn't factor this into my rating because it was probably a one off accident, just bear in mind that it's something that can happen due to the nature or the preparation process. Internal decor was cheap looking. Cleanliness was fine, but borderline. Feels like 10% more effort on those fronts would lead to a hugely better experience. Example: the color temperature of the lightbulbs was mismatched, come on, it doesn't take much effort to install matching lightbulbs. Overall it's acceptable, I would go there again if it was the only thing open or I had a specific craving for this type of food. For what it does there are better options available locally; Wok To Walk for fast casual Asian inspired food, Itsu (or one of the many other Reading sushi shops) for better than supermarket sushi."

"So close to being the best Greek restaurant I have ever been in that isn't in Greece somehow a street in Reading loses out to places in the Greek countryside with their fresh local produce and views but it's still very good and, judging by the number of regulars in, it is highly regarded. Really good starters including Lamb Kofta very tasty), Hummus excellent quite an accolade from a lady who lived in London surrounded by some of the best), my own Stuffed Aubergine very tasty but a bit lacking in flavour) and my partner's Garlic Prawns ok, slightly overcooked, a bit short of sauce and £3 per prawn is a bit steep). The mains of Lamb Cutlets delicious), Kalamari tasty but not exceptional), my lady's Chicken Souvlaki to die for, could have just eaten the rice it was that hood I tasted both, she wasn't wrong. I had the Mixed Grill and it's the nicest meat I have tasted in this country, perfectly cooked with startling flavour. Service was excellent despite beibg very busy early on a Saturday evening. My lady's son and partner have just moved to Reading and so we most certainly will visit again., just know what doesn't work for us. Highly recommended Revisited in October 2023 after the birth of my lady's first grand daughter so two of us ate in and two had a takeaway I should start by saying that we were waited on by a gentleman who said he normally worked in the kitchen but someone was help up en route he was brilliant My lady opted for the Tirokaftera or spicy feta dip which was pretty amazing. whilst I went for the equaly impressive Pastourma which is a beef Greek version of chorizo and very tasty. On the mains front my lady went for Chicken Souvlaki and I for the lamb version of the same. Both were really good and I would love to know what they put in thr rice to make it taste so good. The takeaways were both lamb souvlaki and they were very very well received"

"This place served decent food. We attended just after 4 pm and it was not too crowded. The Seafood Linguini was nice and I appreciated the way in which it was presented. There could have been more King Prawns and Squids. I do concede that these items are expensive, but the price for meal was significant. The Chefs prepare the meals in the open, which is nice to look at, although this must be intimidating for them. I would have likely to have watched them more closely, but I did not want to stare. Additionally, I am concerned that some of the items on the menu are labelled as “vegetarian” when they are not. For example, Parmesan cheese is not a vegetarian item. In relation to the menu, the 7 Cheeses Pizza is presented as a vegetarian item, but the ingredients speak otherwise. Parmesan cheese uses an enzyme which is found in the lining of a goat’s or a calf’s stomach. I am not a Vegetarian, so my concern is for others who have made a significant commitment not to consume any meat products. The menu itself has lots of wonderful items, but it is prudent for some things to be raised. The Server made an error in the order. People make mistakes and one of the other members of staff spoke to us about it. The Server apologised sincerely for the error. It was rectified immediately. Yes, I concede that mistakes can be made but it is also equally important as to how they are dealt with and the members of staff dealt with it immediately and efficiently."
