"Germany in Corona Summer 2020 are moaning both Bavaria and Schleswig-Holstein under the storm of holidaymakers who would otherwise have spread around the Mediterranean and other areas of the world. At the beaches of the Baltic Sea, guests are stacked, we locals are undesirable as “day tourists”. It was obvious to travel anticyclically and visit the places that were not otherwise visited by dozens of travel groups from the USA and Japan. Think, done, it should be the world heritage city of Quedlinburg and also its neighbours, and later also others. On the arrival day we could not follow the repeated recommendation of a table reservation on this platform. The hotel had made a mistake in the room reservation, and it took almost two hours to get a room as ordered. At 18:00 we were able to look for a free table in a restaurant in the old town, which was impossible despite some attempts at the recommended local restaurants. Only a small Asian restaurant in the middle of the old town had a free table in the outdoor area, which we immediately occupied. Shortly afterwards a young Asian came to the table, sprayed it with hygienic spray and carefully wiped it off, then disappeared in the house and gave us the menus a few moments later. The offer was already clearly mixed, there were typical representatives from China (Acht Kostbaren, Thailand (red Curry and Vietnam (Pho Hanoi). Further back on the map there was a page with the “Recommendations of the Chef” and with Hot Pot-Geisier. From this area, four offers seemed interesting to us, and when the young waiter came back to the table, Madame ordered the “Pak-Bo plate, consisting of humprabs, duck, beef, chicken meat, corn, paprika, carrot slices and mushrooms” (12.50 €), plus a Cola light (0.4l mushroom for 3.50 €). The waiter thanked, collected the menus and disappeared in the house. Just a little later he came back and brought the drinks. At the same time, we realized that his German was quite worthy of improvement, but his appearance was friendly and attentive and he fled. A little later, he first placed a bowl with underbuilt Rechaud at my place, which contained a colorful mixture of meat and vegetables, and also he put us a plate. Then there was nothing for just two minutes, but then he came with a cliché iron pan on a wooden board and laid both before Madame. The pan contained a similar colourful mixture as in my plate, and when the rice was finally brought to us, we began to eat. The vegetables fresh and crispy, the different meats tastefully distinguishable and tasty, the humprabbs well roasted to the point – we were very satisfied with this emergency solution in small Asian."

"After almost rogue at Café Vincent or her disinterest in her guests, we found a cuddly backyard a few meters further downhill with all kinds of rural decoration, a chicken stable, beautiful tables and super-friendly staff at Pancake Café . The menu fluctuates between milk bar, ice and offers, in addition to a large selection, also hearty filled pancakes, some regional and egg foods to get the deliciously flowing named curiosities from the resin... Super relaxed and also in a wine so suitable for the silence of our hunger. In terms of approaching dark clouds, we were looking for an even free small screened table on the otherwise well-loaded terrace. The flourishing and juicy young staff took good care of his work on reliably relaxing and diligent, even if it has the free standing tables for various rain showers incl. Back and dry guests. In this friendly all-office we found in addition to original little things even a few of our house several hundred kilometers away; to the dishes: cake (9,90€ : a lush fresh salad with goat cheese, walnuts, egg, raspberry vinegar and a crispy peas bread extremely tasty and harmonious; Peasant son (8,90€): Hearty scrambled eggs with knees (small potatoes in the oven baked with bowls, fresh herbs and a resin nackedei, a kind of rust sausage in slices matched exactly to the ambience and expectations. Solid tasty little things funny combined and set in scene. The offer closes a gap and offers more than expected from the simple front. Therefore, the farm is also an eye-catcher for a visit when shutting down or in children. Very friendly recommended."

"My mom like so many other moms always told me that if you had nothing good to say, it 'd be best to not say anything at all. I am very tempted to abide by her advice! Alas, doing so would primarily mean that you may end up being an unsuspecting customer of this establishment. Sure, it looks pleasant enough, the location is great, you can sit outside and watch the world go by. All that is great. What 's not great are those burgers. First off, if you are expecting an American burger, this is NOT the right place. There are so many things wrong with what they serve as a burger here that I don 't really know where to start. I 'll give you some lowlights: 1. The patty. They say it 's meat, but I am not altogether sure. It looks like it 's something mixed in with a whole lot of sawdust. It 's also got a rather suspicious red tint to it perhaps from some spice (although, wouldn 't that add some flavor? . Or, perhaps, because the sawdust they use comes from Redwood trees. I 'm tempted to stick with the Redwood theory. Their patty usually consists of a pork/beef mix (plus sawdust? unless you specify otherwise and pay a 1 Euro premium for all beef. 2. The bun. Germans usually know how to bake and that includes anything related to bread. Unfortunately, what you get here is neither here nor there. It looks like a burger bun, but it 's strangely flaky and crumbly. I thought both flavor and texture were, uhm, yuck. 3. The sauce. Lots of sauces can be put on a burger. One, however, should never be put on: The one served at this restaurant. The primary flavor is sweet. It 's like they took a teaspoon of ketchup and added another teaspoon of sugar to it. They describe the sauce as spicy. That must mean it 's spicy to a German palate from the 1950 's because this Yank didn 't detect even the slightest hint of heat. It reminded me of those extra hot salsas you can buy at the grocery stores in Germany. They are about as spicy as ketchup that 's been kept on the same shelf as a jalapeño. The same is true for this concoction. I kept asking myself why they would do something like that but I had an idea (Point #4 . 4. The flavor. A good burger should come together nicely and harmoniously. Ingredients should follow the idea of Gestalt you know: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. That kind of thing. Here, that is not true. That thing you 're getting is bland aside from the overly sweet sauce that 's once seen a jalapeño on TV. Overall, I would NEVER EVER eat here again. EVER. No. Nope. Not to my liking. Whoever thinks that the food here is akin to an actual burger should seek help. This sandwich is as similar to a US burger as bulgur is part of traditional Thai food. Why not one star? Easy I managed to eat most of it (boy was I hungry! and I did not die. At least not yet. I 've been to places where the latter requirement was for a time questionable..."

"I have a spontaneous dinner. as we walk in the city, we noticed that many restaurants were closed. theopano was open and there was a handful of people in whose inner seem to enjoy their experience. So we have joined them. the restaurant felt a bit. first, because we were the only people in our secrecy. However, the staff was very friendly and quickly made us feel like at home. the menu is easily navigated and offers something for everyone, including a vegetarian option. we chose a few dishes, were brought a few free bread and distributed, followed by our drinks. the food arrived quickly. not too fast, where one suspects that everything was in the back and only needed to be reheated. not too long to bother you. essentially, simply perfectly taken. our dishes looked very appetit and portions were more than sufficient. we took our first bites and were pleasantly surprised by the taste exactly what we hoped. we had a younger child with us who didn't want to eat. the workers offered their cake or ice (of course to check with us). she could look at all the cakes and then on ice, which was very beautifully presented and which she enjoyed enormously. After we finished eating, we shared a piece of cake. it was absolutely delicious and we have already made our thoughts to stop on a afternoon for coffee / tee and cake. a very pleasant and positive experience."

"yet a chic, stylish local with Italian espressobar and Mediterranean modern elements as well as rustic vault. the concept of pre-operators to offer qualitatiw high-quality Mediterranean cuisine and small things that protrude from the anhaltinian unit brewery has failed. the new operators with a regional experience in gastronomy retain the proven beverages, the spatial features and the terrace, but now in the kitchen they are always on the more lush locally accepted ostalgies and almost everywhere. a fine change less in the city. we tried out and looked back at the place that is also humanly a bit grounded. friendly burschikos bond; our space lacks free outside spaces alone in the cellar arch. an iron seasonal sparing announced on the outer table as well as the usual regional home cooking with some curious rough carvings like the spaghetti and cheese baked pigeon. we chose the pork “Schnitzel Würzfleisch” with hearty spices and goat cheese baked, with potato corners and fresh garden salad (16.50€) as well as carving with spaten (cold about 250g, salt potatoes and brown butter (15.50 €). the finely prepared flour was on the table after almost 30min; until then we drove with krombacher (0,4l 3,70€ water (0,2l 2,20€) and a neat thurgau (0,2l 4,30€ . Now what should I say: neat rustic house cooking quite lush and less subtle. well cut, but sometimes little individually also with regard to spice. a neat piece of meat without any adjustments in the first case with old seasoned meat and if I cooked myself I cannot judge (3.5* the economic ok very natural as well as the little seasoned (normal salt potatoes with good butter sauce (3*. facs: beautiful environment, solid gastronomy, nice people but not more expensive are sold here."
