"La location è meravigliosa, all’interno delle mura del Castello di Montecuccolo, in cui si respira la Storia ma dove si può vivere per un momento anche la pace e la serenità dell’Appennino Modenese. Quando si varca l’ingresso della locanda è difficile non rimanere incantati dalla bellezza degli interni, le cui decorazioni sembrano parlarti e le pareti in pietra ti separano dal mondo. L’accoglienza è impeccabile così come il servizio che ti segue dall’inizio alla fine nei modi e tempi giusti. Il personale è gentile e garbato ma confidente come vecchi amici con cui ci si ritrova dopo tanto tempo per mangiare e parlare. Per quanto riguarda il menù, è semplicemente perfetto dagli antipasti al dolce, con piatti tipici della zona e ingradienti di massima qualità. Ogni piatto è assolutanente delizioso, letteralmente da “leccarsi i baffi”, così come il vino con cui è impossibile sbagliarsi. Prezzi buoni e onesti alla portata dei “comuni mortali”. Questa recensione può sembrare “esageratamente positiva” ma non è scritta da un critico di qualche rivista o da un loro parenteè scritta da un pescatore e appassionato di Storia che ha girato per l’Italia e mangiato in innumerevoli trattorie, osterie e ristoranti dal nord al sud, perciò fidatevi perchè è tutto vero. "Impossible.noj passa da questo ristorante pizzeria se si è in pavullo, soprattutto in estate, tavoli all'aperto e ampi spazi esterni, o in camera, o se si preferisce nella grande sala interna. paolo, pizzaiolo, veramente molto buono e la sua pizza è uno dei migliori della montagna, ma se amate mangiare pesce, siete nel posto giusto. naturalmente il menu è di mare e terra, quindi ideale per. tutti, bambini inclusi. rapporto prezzo assolutamente ottimo. incluso nella mia lista personale di ristoranti, nei primi tre."

"we had dinner in this wonderful location inside the walls of the castle. appetizer with fried polenta with ragù, vegetable tortino, chickpea flour, cured meats and excellent cheeses, a focaccia to say a little amazing. the first delicious goose and absolutely not trivial, the meat looked like butter....good! peach cake, apples and mascarpone with wild berries and fantastic biscuit, all made strictly in the house by the chef. very kind manager, as well as staff. We'll definitely come back. recommended!"

"with two friends we made the vandal route from 22 to 29 May. we started with the tent and decided to lean on structures that allowed us to put the tent in the garden, with the use of a bathroom for the shower and with restaurant for dinner and breakfast. we stopped, at the end of the second stage (montecuccolo, after pavullo in the frigano to the farm belvedere. the place has the rooms with bathroom in a building just above the main road and the restaurant adjacent to via lawn (the two units are within a few minutes walk along a downhill road/salita . the structure would need to be refurbished, but the garden is light and usable for the tent. the place is quiet. we took advantage of the bathroom of a room where we could leave the backpacks for the night. we ate very well (excellent and abundant rattles as well as warm tigelles and pesto with lard! . we realized that traveling with a few pounds less would have allowed us to enjoy more the way and so we asked the owner if, the next morning, could bring us the tents and what necessary for the night at the end of the stage (to the saint . it was really available: we put everything in two bags of the garbage and in the afternoon, ocited by the work, he reached us to the saint and gave us our 'packs'. thanks! recommended structure for the great food, the cost and availability of the managers."
