"on tour in Umbria and monte castello di vibio is a medieval hill town with a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape and was just a short drive from our central location near todi. this restaurant was a recommendation, but the translation difficulties left us. find the place and book a table on lunch. So we decided to have a light lunch in mcdw and run around until we found the restaurant instead of doing that in the dark, and we are not happy that we did that!? this restaurant looks like the last house in a street, as it is the last house of the owner on the street. part when the house is given to a small very clean dining room and terrace area for warmer nights. we had missed the small sign on the wall near the tores, and it took some directions from a room to put us right. we have made contact with the owner and we have successfully booked. the menu, offered typical Umbria question. the owner is striving to tell them all about the choices that are likely to be different every night that is laborious he tells them in Italian (with the strange English word to try and help) and pick them up a word in five. his type of delight for fine eating is obvious and infectious. the meal was lush and beautifully cooked and presented. we have managed to negotiate a bottle of wine that suits us (because we asked for dry white with obst). it was not a cheap meal, but such were the aromen and textures that we were in agreement with the fact that sometimes they only have to enjoy, and only pay the price. the overall experience was very good, and we thought we could go again, but we did not try to book (this time about our hostess)."
