"Great place to eat. It was our first time in Tortilla and the staff were so patient talking us through what options we could have in our wraps. The food was so tasty and reasonably priced. Early reviews have mentioned poor standards we found the opposite. Staff were attentive, checked if our food was ok and took our trays away for us as soon as we stood to leave. I liked the chatty atmosphere, the staff at lunchtime clearly worked together well and the atmosphere was really welcoming. The fast service at the counter means it would be an idea place to eat if you had a short lunchbreak."

"I came here for the second time to this charming brasserie. The atmosphere is very eclectic and cozy, with a laid-back and relaxed vibe. The menu is focused on crepes, both savory and sweet, along with some toasted breads. While the menu may be limited, the quality of the food is exceptional. The crepes are delicious and the fillings are absolutely tasty. The portions are generous and offer good value for money. The service is friendly and efficient. This unique little cafe has a lot of regular customers and is definitely worth a visit."

"We visited this place for the first time during the eat out to help out scheme on a weekday. I was looking forward to having my meal there as I had heard it's name in many circles. There is ample parking space and you have to register your car at the reception to avoid a fine. The reception area looked impressive but a whole new experience awaited us in the dining area. The whole place looked poorly maintained with flooring looking old and dirty in places. We were seated next to the bar area and the first thing we noticed were the fruit flies that were mentioned in other reviews. Mocktails were concentrated sugar syrup with bad presentation. Chicken starter was way overcooked and were difficult to cut into. Dishes in the main course lacked flavour and seasoning. The extra star is for the staff members who had a smile on their face and were helpful for the most part."

"I should note that I have not dined in at Bad Egg before. Instead, my friends and I decided to order take-out through Deliveroo. Despite this unconventional choice, we still had the opportunity to try their food, so it still counts, right? I ordered the Cheeseburger Hash and a Dulce de Leche milkshake, while my friends tried a variety of dishes including the Bad Egg Burger, Korean Pulled Pork Burger, Chilaquiles, Chicken and Anchovy Salad, Fried Chicken Burger, and the Cheeseburger. Essentially, we tried almost 90% of the menu. My Cheeseburger Hash was a generous portion filled with pickles, mustard, burger pieces, and topped with cheese and a fried egg. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it was too much for me to finish on my own, so my friends helped out. Overall, we had a great experience."

"First of all, I would like to say an endless thank you to Andre who has been very kind, accommodating and helpful to us throughout the planning of my son’s 4th birthday at Wacky Warehouse which is located above the Kiss Me Hardy Pub. We hired the Wacky Warehouse for a private 3 hour birthday party and it was the best decision we ever made. Andre was very responsive both in person and on the phone when I had to talk to him about the details of the birthday party. He also came to work even though it was supposed to be his day off on the day of the party to make sure all the things we discussed will be implemented. He even helped us setting up the place and only left when all the guests had their food. I would also like to give a big shout out to Shard who was also been ever so helpful to us throughout the party. She is a lovely, kind lady and always asking us if we needed help. All the guests were super happy especially the children with the party at Wacky Warehouse Colliers Wood. We highly recommend this place to hire for private events especially children’s parties. Once again, thank you very much Andre and Shard"

Although in the o2 they had a larger selection of dips, I preferred the wimbledon restaurant. very happy. I would definitely recommend this place to other people!"

"a friendly, family-run place serving authentic Pakistani dishes. I had the chef's speciality haleem, a hearty dish I would be one of the best comfort food lamb and lenses haleem is a suppeneinpot enriched with lenses, delicate fall from bone meat, green chilis and fresh ingwer. hard to photograph, but believe me, it's good. the rest of the family had huhn methi and huhn korma with hot fresh naans that filled with meat especially popular. our daughter thought it was the best corma she ever had, especially since it wasn't sweet like so many take-off versions. we enjoyed everything. it is easy and easy to cook good family they can not go wrong with it."

"I am so disappointed by this industry, I am a regular use of their famous peri peri. eating is always amazing. However, on a regular anesthesia, its delivery process is very poor. they always send the wrong order and how today it is due to the customers. there is a clear lack of customer service and today was the last threat when the person on the phone refuses to recognize his mistake, send a wrong order and instead was said if they don't want it, then send it back also note it as on zomato they have explained that they don't do delivery, where on the leaflet there are clearly mentioned delivery for each order over £9.99 we are very disappointed to do"

"This takeaway was recommended via hungryhouse website. Food order was placed online delivered within a reasonable time. I am vegetarian and was alarmed to see that one of my dishes had been substituted' by another WITHOUT first consulting me! When I called the restaurant...I was told that my item had run out' so they sent something else! Unfortunately what they substituted my dish with would have made me violently ill if I hadn't realised it in time! DISGRACEFUL. An offer was made to change it for something else from the menu but the damage had already been done. The spring rolls were also digusting tasted as if they had been partly defrosted then thrown in the microwave for 5 seconds. I have ordered many a Chinese take-away around the globe but this by far is my worse experience ever! I'm currently awaiting a refund for my dish lets hope I get it! Sorry but I cannot recommend this restaurant have no intentions of ever spending my money here again."

"We admittedly did come in late, well an hour before closing, we were the only diners. There was no greeting, the menus were plonked on the table we felt pressured to order. We chose a not cheap bottle of white wine which also got plonked on the table, unopened no wine cooler. We ordered starters mains were quite shocked when EVERYTHING turned up at the same time. It was as if they couldn't wait to get us out so they could go home. When we questioned this we got attitude. The food was ok but nothing special. In the middle of the starter/main course we got the bill slapped down on the table. Hurry up and get out they seemed to say! We finished our food, downed our expensive wine asked for the toilet. There isn't one, unless you go outside to the public loos. I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all. They are surly, unfriendly expensive. I know I left my sunglasses on the table as we were rushed out, but when we went back the next day they denied all knowledge of them. Avoid at all cost!"

"We went for lunch. This is a no frills cafe. The service was cheery, the menu is simple and varied and there is a good daily menu too. There was a choice of three chicken dishes, a pork dish, chilli, meatballs and a pasta dish; also the usual baked potatoes and paninis. All looked delicious. We paid £18 for the two of us including two soft drinks. Looks like a good hidey hole for Sunday breakfast. We need more of these independent cafes round London, as the food actually does taste and look homemade! Bottom end of Wimbledon Park Station."

"Mary's Garden is a cozy restaurant located near Nelson Hospital, towards Wimbledon Chase. Booking a table is easy and highly recommended. Upon arrival, Mary greeted us warmly and we chose our table. The menu is extensive and with Mary's guidance, we shared 3 starters along with Japanese beer and green tea. The starters were freshly prepared, piping hot, and delicious, perfect for sharing. We also enjoyed a side of Kimchi, which had a good kick to it. The main courses were served as they were cooked, so be prepared to eat at different times. Each dish was beautifully presented and incredibly tasty, making it one of the best Japanese meals we've had in a while. We are already planning to return to try more dishes, as are our friends. Overall, Mary's Garden offers delicious food in a relaxed and informal setting, highly recommended."

"There’s a lot of curry houses that could learn a lot from this place good and bad, let me give you the positives firstly This is an excellent curry house with an array of good dishes from massala to dopiaz and all there’s specialty dishes this isn’t just a two to three good dishes restaurant there plenty of good choice this place is one of the best around and I’ll tell you why The chutneys are fresh plenty of onion mango mint sauce lime pickle all delicious all in china bowls the popadoms crisp and flavoursome The portion sizes are good and this place has fine decor a nice plush restaurant Now the negatives The food doesn’t always come out piping hot there’s no hot trays to keep the dishes warm ,tonight i asked for a pint of lager and he gave me a large bottle of kingfisher which obviously costs more , my partner had a house white wine excellent , This restaurant is very Rarely busy like it should be and why is this ? because quite simply it’s quite expensive this tandoori should be in wimbledon village if it was it would be the no 1 there I hate greed and this place comes across as that I really don’t mind paying the extra for good curry but you just feel money more important to this place than customer hospitality, cold and cynical we have your money now go !! There’s a cheaper takeaway opposite and this must effect there trade and they should try to compete with takeaway discount with the right marketing this place could rule the roost, say midweek banquet say £14-95 They do a fabulous Sunday buffet , but it’s all day long and it becomes tired and they charge you extra for popadoms and again with less greed better marketing this could be packed out . so lets sum it up great food great prices if your not worried about your pocket then come here To the management you have a great chef but you need better customer relations , better ideas better marketing the food needs to be hot when it arrives at your table and needs to be kept warm !! a midweek banquet a bit of value for money then you will flourish , top prices you need top service friendliness and warmth , there’s an unwelcoming feel to this place A basic meal for two with 1 drink each no coffees will be £50 that’s sharing a rice naan bread side dish two mains etc The curry is excellent!!"

"that has been a regular hunting for many years. the selection of foods, portion sizes and the price-performance ratio are difficult to rival. it is a family-run business and owner and his employees are always friendly and welcoming. the decor is clean and bright and. there are also tables outside for those who prefer to see the world passing! my favorite is the ham and mushroom omelette with chips and borons if they are really hungry or a freshly prepared salate when I am good. there is also a daily roast. with a complete mix of regular customers they feel immediately comfortable and without doubt want to become a regular!"

"My friend and I often book in for the Wingfield’s afternoon tea when lucky enough to be drawn out of the public or LTA ballots and attend the Championships. We did this yesterday [day one, 2023 tournament]. We had pre booked so were able to skip a quickly gathering queue up the familiar steps. We checked in [about the third lot of people there] and were told where our table was and led to it. There was an issue with table positioning which, after an elongated discussion with three different people, was resolved to our acceptance. After a short wait, the orders were taken and a few minutes later, our afternoon tea arrived. It had all that was on the menu, though I didn’t like the fact that we both paid the price for the afternoon tea but the 4 cakes listed on the menu were “shared” between the two at the table. I believe if you pay full price each, you should have the full quota of cakes each. Additionally, the menu includes strawberries and cream, though when I queried where they were [as they weren’t brought with the rest of the stuff], the young waitress didn’t think they were part of the afternoon tea. I put her right and they were duly brought to the table. The cost of the AT has gone up by just short of 50% since 2018. Whilst recognising everything is going up and what we all have to endure in the shops in the modern day, I feel nowadays when leaving the restaurant that for the price, it’s not bringing as much feel good and satisfaction as it used to do. This was the most disappointing aspect of what was otherwise a great day at The Championships."
