"I visited this restaurant for lunch twice during my stay in Kirkwall, and I had a fantastic experience both times. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly, even though the place was busy. We tried the baked potatoes, paninis, and ciabatta buns, all of which were delicious. We also shared a slice of carrot cake and some chocolate banana loaf, and we enjoyed both desserts immensely."

"We enjoyed a fantastic meal at this modern restaurant, where the curry was simply delicious. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The poppadoms were fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for the meal. For our main courses, we chose paneer shashlik and garlic chili vegetable balti, accompanied by plain rice and garlic naan. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. The balti was rich in flavor and had a pleasant spicy kick, while the paneer was cut into generous, tender chunks. The naan was perfectly soft on the inside with a nice crispy exterior. Overall, great food!"

"Extremely disappointing. We have dined several times previously and thoroughly enjoyed the meals, the last occasion 6 months ago. However, it appears a new chef has been employed and the menu has changed for the worst and portion size drastically reduced. The £14 scallop starter consisted of 3 meagre 50p sized pieces, bread and butter £3 extra. The salmon main, £26 and 1 x 3 size, was drowned in some sort of onion soup and topped with a nest of thin noodles. The Orkney 3 fish plate consisted of a small piece of cod, a fishcake and a small langoustine which had to be cracked with a fork to get access to any meat. A small bowl of root vegetables to share between 2 people was served with the mains. Overall grossly overpriced for such meagre portions and would not recommend as a dining experience."

"In my honest opinion, this place is highly underrated. The food is quite decent, and the atmosphere is lovely. We started with the mozzarella sticks, which were great, especially paired with their delicious garlic mayo. For our main courses, we had the double cheeseburger and a pizza topped with cheese and sweet potatoes, both of which were really good. For dessert, we indulged in the chocolate forge, which was absolutely delicious. I also ordered two beers from the Orkney Brewery and a whisky. Our total bill came to £40, which I think is an exceptionally fair price for all that delicious food."
