"we were invited to a birthday and were here for the first time. we are passionate fans of eating Greek and were of course curious how to eat here. the service was at the beginning somewhat overwhelmed and inattentive, but the restaurant was also full. we had to wait relatiw long until we could give up the beverage order. even if the glass was empty, you had to appeal to the waiter proaktiw. Of course there was the obligatory ouzo on the house. We ate as an appetizer tzaziki. this was really very good, the ratio yogurt/kino blue was really balanced, so a very good tzaziki. as the main course there were gyros baked with cheese in a Metaxa sauce, the green salate was included in the way. here we were also surprised by the fact that there was not a boring dressing as with many others, but it seemed refreshing and round. the gyros was very well seasoned, the sauce had a picnic taste, the metaxa came tastefully good through. I found it a little oversalted, but that is my subjective opinion. the supplemental pools frites were not special, we would have liked to have them at the level of the other feeds more high quality. For the end there was still a jogurt with nuts and honey, this was also delicious and has fulfilled the expectations. all the other dishes that our friends had ordered, looked delicious and tasty through the bank. all were satisfied with their choice. absolutely recommended. I guess that wasn't our last visit."

"We used to be guests more often, since we moved from Wevelinghoven to Hemmerden. The ambience is more of a fine restaurant without lines and soul than that you feel like you are in Mexico. Service friendly, tried hard but unstructured. It's a shame that the first thing you're greeted with is a sign saying no card payment and then the waitress tells you that the gas grill is broken and there are no steaks etc. The entrance door to the toilets (escape door) from the hall was locked, the place where the fire extinguisher was signposted was not accessible because a guest was sitting there. Now for the food, I had the Fajita Carne y Pollo and my wife had the Tacos con Carne de res. Regarding the fajita, the vegetable rice only tasted like carrots, otherwise it was rather tasteless, which was probably due to the large and many pieces of carrot. Unfortunately the salad wasn't dressed well, only a little dressing was drizzled over it. The meat in cream sauce was quite good, as was the rest (wheat tortilla, sour cream, avocado cream, sprinkled cheese). Two of the 3 tacos were burnt at the top, the con carne was rather tasteless, all in all ok. When it came to the bill, the food was first forgotten and then a corrected bill came. The strawberry greeting at the end was very tasty. To sum up, the food tasted better in the past. We won't come back for that. The super delicious tiramisu hasn't been around for a long time."

"Once again a car-free day trip to the old homeland and once again the question of a restaurant on Good Friday, but this time at noon. The Neusser – Furth doesn’t really convince us here when choosing and even the restaurants in Kaarst don’t let us become repeaters. Spontaneously, my wife came up with the idea that for the kids it would be nice to make six to seven hours in the car a day with a visit to the Bobbolandia Grevenbroich amusement park. Time to play, time to play and thus time for me in Grevenbroich to look for a restaurant for lunch. Grevenbroich is here at GG an absolutely white spot on the map, some registered restaurants, no reviews, not even pictures of the outside view of the locals, with a little more time you could fill your point account on your own photo-technical basis ; so stowed by the WWW and taken three locals into the narrower choice. Number 1 had unfortunately closed despite the addition “A holiday from – to open”, number 3 did not like the female part of the decision-makers from the ambience, so it became the Gasthof Jägerhof. The “Jägerhof” is based on the homepage [here link] one of the oldest inns in Grevenbroich. Located on the outskirts of Grevenbroich, the guest house with a connected bowling alley is located in one of the houses typical for this region with a dark clinker facade style. Own parking spaces are sufficient, the entrance to the guest room is reached over two steps. Entering the guest room is directly opposite the large counter of light and dark wood in the room. The walls half to 2 3 highly lined with darker wood, the remaining part to the ceiling painted in a cream tone. The floor with dark tiles designed, tables, chairs and dark wood benches offer space for around 30 people. A folding sliding door leads to the left hand into the dining room. The walls here are also semi-highly covered with wood, the rest of the walls as well as the ceiling painted with a bright, friendly cream tone. Individual images on the walls, wall lamps, bright overgardens and green plants on the window benches do not make the room appear unpleasant. Also here the tables, chairs and the surrounding bench with upholstered design from the eighties made of dark wood. About 40 people will find a table covered with light tablecloth, covered with Easter decoration, paper napkins in Easter decoration, cutlery, a small pot flower, salt and pepper shaker and a display with season, drinks and dessert card. The only thing that I personally find somewhat unhappy for a dining room is the dark grey carpet, I don't want to clean it if a plate takes the way to the floor instead of the table. For Ambience 3 , we are here in a guest house and for that it has been fit. We had reserved, were kindly greeted by the staff and brought to our table when entering the room. The menus in a dark cover have been handed over and our big man also got his own card with the words “You can surely read a bit.” That's how you can make children proud. We were made aware of the asparagus map and then given time to choose from. After a pleasant waiting period, the order was received, the drinks came quickly to the table, my supplement salad was served in advance and the main dishes served at the same time while the children were the first serving round. Ketchup and mayonnaise for children have been served without demand and no extra charge, so you don't always find it. Both a good appetite was desired and in the meantime asked if everything was right. The bill came on our request immediately with a decent Bon and two Lollies for the boys. We were kindly adopted and wished for a happy Easter, while leaving the place there were two Easter eggs for the lilies again. For the service 4 , always related to the fact that we were here in a guest house. For dinner, the Chicken Nuggets with Pommes each € 6,20 , pork larvae with asparagus, sauce Hollandaise and potatoes € 18,90 , asparagus roll with ham, tomatoes, sauce Hollandaise and cheese were ordered twice, and the gypsy carving with pommes and salad € 12,50. The Chicken Nuggets in sufficient quantity for children were ok and as you expected, 3 . On my mother's plate there were three medallions, all nicely fried, tender and still juicy. To this end, some salt potatoes and four bars of asparagus with a Hollandaise where I am now self-made, but it was not bad. She tasted it, she was satisfied and meant that it tasted very well, so 4 My wife chose the asparagus role. 4 5 bars of asparagus with cooked ham and tomato slices, covered by Sauce Hollandaise and with cheese, with cheese only running and not really gratined. What now sounds as a non-overcrowded portion was more than saturating for them due to the Hollandaise and cheese. The asparagus not boiled here, but still with light bite, the Hollandaise is identical to that on my mother's plate, the dish still marvels with fresh parsley. Here too, it was good, satisfaction yes, to a “very good” as with my mother did not suffice, 3.5 . Contrary to the other orders, I had decided against an asparagus dish but for the profane gypsy carving. In retrospect, maybe I should have combined carving and asparagus. A small supplemental salad consisting of iceberg, carrots and white herb salad was served with cucumber slices. As a dressing for this a slightly sweet sour cream yoghurtdressing, which has put me back in memory for over 30 years. The salad with the dressing was all right, whether all the ingredients were now self-made I leave open only if I need a knife for the salad leaves then you could pick them a bit more carefully before dressing. My main dish, served on a square plate, was fine. The pommes good TK – merchandise, kross fritted, still soft inside and not greasy had seen enough salt. The scavenger was certainly not knocked and panned extra for me, but certainly not a TK but prepared because it had taste. It is not easy to find out the preparation frying pan when the sauce almost completely covers the panade. Despite the rather dark, freelance places, I tend to pan. The gypsy sauce left me inconclusive, here I tend to form a finished product or a sauce made from several convenience products due to the consistency of both the paprika and the sauce. Instead of a certain wort and freshness, the typical taste of pickled peppers in the mouth was rather unfolded. It wasn't bad in itself, but more than three aren't inside. All of it's 3.5 for food. To cleanliness, I can't say anything negative, all that you can see as a normal guest in the guest room was well maintained. The plumbing facilities that can be reached in a plane have the charm of the eighties, but as long as they are clean I can live with it, so here 4 . We have paid € 60.60 for three adults and two children for the food and two drinks, otherwise we will get to the second loose. For a guest house and the bids absolutely appropriate, therefore 4 What I notice now when writing, the prices on the homepage are no longer up to date: Chicken Nuggets € 6,20 instead of € 5,40 and Gypsies € 12.50 instead of € 9,80. Price is still fine and therefore no deduction at the PLV but it would be nice if your own homepage were to be updated. The conclusion of the overall impression can therefore only be read: 3 – if it results again, I do not drive extra 300 kilometers for a visit, but both the PLV and the kindness of the staff leave the Jägerhof with a renewed visit to the Gedächnis 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again after the kitchen trip."
