"I have to say: no, that is not lacking. No, it's not a friesfrett stinking bude. yes, it is not entirely what you expect to go into a Greek restaurant:wood tones instead of lime, wooden tables instead of white cover and paper napkins instead of table decoration - and yet Greek music in the background. I was with a friend eating and we were the only people in the restaurant, it was a Monday evening. the service was extremely friendly, very accommodating and rather inconspicuous in the background. no eternal question and no eternal smoker breaks before the door. everything as I would feel comfortable.We ordered a grill plate that was apparently a bit swirled. instead of gyros, souvlaki and bifteki (grill plate one person) there were chicken fillet, souvlaki and bifteki (theoretically half a grill plate for several people). we both felt this as not bad and rejoiced about the food: well made rice, very well roasted meat and nice spices. otherwise you get something more furdry when smelling. everything was extremely juicy. now, unfortunately, eating was rather sweet and also the herb salad that was added was more in order than totally delicious.After our two beer and eating there was for us the obligatory (very good) ouzo after the offer of the waiter and we left both with approx. 20€ less the place.Factory: delicious food, super service - and unfortunately the invite makes the impression a little hot-smooth guided to be. but who cares about the paper deck when you feel extremely comfortable all night and we felt that there - we felt very comfortable."

"We were looking for a good Italian restaurant. The operation was nice but, but under stress with waiting times, there is one star. But the food had little to do with Italian cuisine: The noodles with fillet tips drank in the red sauce, which was also sugared, maybe prepared with ketchup? Was almost inedible, reminded me of Ravioli from the can. You wouldn't have eaten worse here in the Bundeswehr-Kantine, which was here decades ago. The lasagna would have taken at least 10 minutes in the oven. Only the Bruschetta was acceptable. The prices are already overpriced, pasta dishes for 20€ in Göttingen? Well, if it's made very fine, but it was definitely not!"

"Decent fried noodles but the amount of oil was just crimina! anymore oil then, the American armed forces would have invaded my noodles with duck meat for democracy! Speaking of meat, the meat portions were not generous and consisted most of breading! And you guessed it, even more oil! So get the small portion with veggies."

"we have spent a very nice evening in the entertainment club, which we - unfortunately for the planea basic - had for us alone. after a small greeting from the kitchen we had the mushroom-smooth-tarte with delicate lamb, the characterful carrot soup with jakobsmuschel, the salmon fillet on tagliatelle with spargel and tomate as well as the delicious calves back. all dishes were prepared on the spot, very nice arranged and delicate. the view of the beautiful old sternwart, the charming service with digestif rates and the enchanting atmosphere to two have rounded off the perfect evening. unfortunately we did not order the dishes in the "menu size" so we could not taste any desserts. we are looking forward to trying the surprise menu."

"Two friends and I booked a table in this restaurant for dinner at we were there on time and we found the table ready for us, so we sat and ordered in relatively small time, we decided to try the all you can eat'...were basically you can order as many Flammkuchens you want and pay euros, drinks are not included. The food: Flammkuchens are ok, it was my second time having them and I like them, but I must say I found them a bit empty', I mean, some of them had barely two slices of ham and some bits of red pepper; we went for the all you can eat' but I would find it crazy to pay euros for such a little amount of ingredients (because that's more or less the price of a single Flammkuchen) especially when thinking that most of the ingredients are relatively cheap. I was shocked when they brought the sweet one we choose as a dessert: slices of banana and pieces of kinder chocolate, and the price is euros. But the service is what blew my mind: we reserved at we received our first order at and it wasn't even that crowded; also we were told we could just order one Flammkuchen at a time but not to worry because they are really quick'; meanwhile we drank a full bottle of water waiting for the food (thing that made me angry enough when I realised from the bill that we were paying every bottle euros in a place like Germany where tap water is perfectly drinkable). When we got the second order the waiter also added that now there's less people it will be quicker' thing I found funny in a bad way, as a restaurant offering a all you can eat' formula should be able to serve all customers together, not condemning them to stay in the restaurant for and a half (because this is exactly what happened to us). So, if you want to try this typical dish maybe it's worth trying, but don't expect nothing impressive, as I did considering this restaurant is the in the list of the ones in town; go always for the all you can eat, and also remember to bring your own water."

"Two adjacent parts with separate areas a creperie and a restaurant. Both are small and rather quaint, with gentle Persian music being played from a CD. The restaurant is open at lunchtimes and the evenings. My wife and I have eaten in both areas;...we always enjoy coming here. Both the Persian and ginger/mint tea are very refreshing. Very good hot lunches for about 6 Euros I particularly like the Reisauflauf. Good service."

"Was bought here by my German colleagues, and can only describe the experience as brilliant. The restaurant was absolutely packed, and with no sign of a table coming free, the owner asked us to come back in 30 minutes, and he would hold the next one.So, a cheeky beer at another hostelry later, we returned, were seated nearly straight away.Choosing from such an extensive menu was a challenge, especially with my pre-GCSE German, but plumped for the Jager Schnitzel. Thankfully, I ordered the regular size, (which filled the plate) as opposed to the XL.It was cooked to perfection, and was nicely washed down with a glass of local red.The whole experience was enhanced by the business, and vibrancy. I have never seen so many happy diners in one place."

"this restaurant is a favorite among the diviners, known for its lush wild dishes and traditional ofenkartoffels. it is difficult to reach (20 minutes by car from göttingen), but the ride is worth it and it is a joy to know that there is such a place in a culinary city. the room itself is quite picturesque and comes closest to a traditional German family restaurant, which I have seen in the opposite. expect a low deck, an interesting decoration from old times with beacons and old paintings as well as a rogue service. what I honestly prefer (restaurants in the opposite are often either chains or are too much aimed at students and tourists). but the most extraordinary is, of course, eating, typically a kind of local meat (wild pig, brain, etc). which is slowly cooked with the associated sauce, and then the ofenekartoffeln and red cabbage. all belong to the best (if not even among the best) I had in the opposite. they expect something more than usual - it should be approx. 20-25 Euro/person with drinks - but it is worth it."

"we were spontaneously in thien kim on Saturday night, the TripAdvisor reviews made hope.Unusually it took a good quarter of an hour until we finally got a menu. "it is definitiw one of the best places to get a falafel in göttingen. they make their own falafel, instead of using frozen. I choose in the rule for a falafel bag or halloumi bag (3,50 eur) and was never disappointed. the hummus is also beautiful and smooth, and if you have a sweet tooth like me, you can also get a decent baklava there. both the prices and the staff are very friendly and they also have lunch."
