"I wasn't sure what to expect upon entering Ramen Jun, except Japanese food. Following a hearty recommendation from my girlfriend, we both travelled there by train to get some lunch time eats.When you enter you are seated and passed menus. The staff were very conscientious and very reactive (and luckily spoke english as I know very little german). The menu was quite large and full of amazing sounding asian eats. I thoroughly enjoyed the ramen, I had their Ramen Jun miso based ramen with some Gyoza and Karaage. It was soooo good!For anyone who is seeking asian food and is in the area I'd heartily recommend a visit to Ramen Jun"

"Wir waren mitlerweile schon mehrfach zu verschiedenen Anlässen hier. Geschäftlich, in grosser Gruppe mit Freunden, nur zu zweit mit dem Partner. Den Eingang an der Strasse kann man schnell zwar übersehen. Aber!! Egal zu welchem Anlass, es lohnt sich. Das Personal ist super freundlich und authentisch und das Essen sehr lecker. Der komplette Gastraum ist mit Bambus ausgekleidet, was dem Restaurant einen tollen charme verpasst. Ausserdem wurden damit verschiedene kleine Bereiche auf teilweise leicht versetzten Ebenen geschaffen. Sehr individuell.Die Preise sind vor allem für Frankfurt absolut okay und die Portionen auch bei gutem Hunger absolut ausreichend.Auch wenn man eher kaum Berührungspunkte mit exotischer Küche hat wird man nicht enttäuscht. Meine Mama war hier ein guter Test :-)Es gibt auch einen kleinen Aussenbereicht im Innenhof, den haben wir aber noch nie ausprobiert.Nur bei sen sanitären Einrichtungen muss man ein Auge zudrücken ;-)Wir kommen auf jeden Fall regelmäßig wieder."

"Very cozy Italian restaurant on the border between Dornbusch and Eschersheim. A little hidden, behind a small park, the building was once a club restaurant of the adjacent tennis club. For a few years, the restaurant has new owners, the predecessor among other company names (Alighieri? not sure) had been quite on the dog. New name, new facility, new menu it is again fun to eat there. Pizza, pasta, meat or fish dishes It tastes, is sufficient, and the plates appealingly dressed. The Pizza Steinofen, located in the Gaststube, spreads tempting fragrances. Olives and bread as a greeting from the kitchen make the waiting bearable. Prices are in the normal range. The staff? The due Amici, the two friends, are mainly program. Friendly, but easy, always a good saying; as a regular guest is greeted as an additional friend. You don't have to order favorite drinks in a specific way, a nap is enough. Reservation is now useful. In the area, the restaurant has an excellent reputation and is correspondingly well visited."

"We like this small, family pizzeria also very much beyond the owner change. Solid pasta, delicious pizza dough, fresh salads and nice guys. Prices are on the lower average. In summer you can sit on a small terrace next to the beautiful neighboring flower shop. Only the salad could be a bit more powerful, but it will be nice for you to spice on demand. By the way, unlike Google, you can also feed on site"

"I'm Argentinian, so gives me right (ha) to weigh in on how good the meals are. While the kitchen and wait staff are Brazilian, they know their stuff. Finding this gem in Frankfurt of all places is a bonus. While the actual steaks are not noteworthy f a proper churrasco, everything else is spot on. Not for the less adventuresome, but the other cuts and selections are wonderful. Rinones, mollejas, empanadas, morcilla are served authentic style. If you don't know what these cow bits are, you may be less inclined, but oh wow they were great. I left fully stuffed and content."

"What a great restaurant! Our family was in Frankfurt for the last night in a Germany, Switzerland, Austria 2 week vacation. Our "boutique hotel" had a map of restaurants nearby that we walked to each, and were not finding anything that appealed. We returned to our room, and looked up on TripAdvisor for restaurants near our location. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we decided to give Oceans a try. We are so glad we did! We have eaten at Michelin Star restaurants that we did not enjoy as much as this meal, and at a fraction of the cost. For starters we ordered the tomato, mozzarella, & basil. It was delicious. All 3 of us ordered different fish dishes and agreed that they were all great. We shared the trio of desserts, which were also very tasty. A PERFECT MEAL. The restaurant also serves steak, if someone in you party doesn't enjoy fish. We wish this restaurant was in our city, we would be eating there often."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch at Pirosmani! The food was authentic from our past visits to Georgia. The dining room is lovely and was the perfect setting to catch up with friends. The service was pleasant and prompt. Since it wasn’t our first experience with Georgian food, we knew what to order to have a familystyle meal and share. "We planned our travel route from Colorado to Europe to include a stopover in Frankfurt to be sure we had a chance to eat at Shandis. We ate at Babam the year before and met Masoud who was an absolute gem. Our dinner at Shandis remains one of our best meals in our 5 week travel through Germany,Italy and France. We talked about our meal so many times- We are already planning another trip so we can visit all 3 of their restaurants . Hands down the best Persian food we have come across. "The place was pretty packed on a Saturday night. Quite a few Italian families there a good sign. Lots of people waiting to pick up pizzas There are a number of table and some high tables with stools you can see into the kitchen again a good sign I was sat on a side table and missed the fact that there are specials chalked up above the kitchen hatch The owner or manager insisted in speaking to me in Italian though he managed German with others. This led to some confusion as he refused to accept anything I asked for and had to point to the menu and assure him yes I did want wine! But apparently I could not have a Negroni even though it was on the menu I had decided on a pasta and ordered a Penne Arabiata, Whilst I waited I saw teh pizzas the others were having which looked good I was given a basket of nice bread and oil and balsamic vinegar The penne was pretty good I had trouble again asking for a second glass of wine When I asked for the menu to chose dessert the owner fired of a rapid range of items available wouldn't let me see the menu I had a panna cota pretty good I was then told I couldn't pay by credit card insisted on cash I had seen others pay possibly with a debit card which I was refused possibly because of language problems Verdict quite good food at a reasonable price but very irritating service"

"It was the logo's font that caught my eye. Yeah, I'm kind of a font freak. Actually, in Toronto, there is a famous dessert franchise called Just Desserts and for some reason, I had almost thought that Cafe Diesseits was just that. I guess I was hallucinating, that, and probably still jet lagged and homesick. It was the first al fresco cafe I've been to after landing in Frankfurt. It was also in my neighbourhood. I was there just after the lunch crowd so I could imagine it had died down quite a bit. At this point, I was still in search of a German Pancake dessert that could beat Plazz Cafe's but unfortunately, Plazz Cafe still reigns supreme with their Palaschinken. Cafe Diesseit's palaschinken was too thin for my liking but besides that, it was plated really pretty like on a bubbled glazed blue plate. I pass this place every now and then in the evenings and after work and the place is teaming with people all having a great time. They have a well stocked bar so I imagine that having a great time and alcohol seem to go hand in hand. : The funny thing is, the place is diagonally right across from StattCafe and the two venues are completely different, bringing in two completely different crowds."

"we stayed in august for some nights in the hotel bornheimer hof on the bergerstraße and decided to try out the new restaurant below the hotel, the ristorante la duchessa. we are glad that we did this!This restaurant was opened a few months ago and offered a wonderful culinary experience. we were four in the evening meal – two of us were English-speaking Americans and our French-speaking friends before place, who were bilingual German-English. when we looked through their great menu, our friends helped us translate some of the descriptions of the menu points, and they all sounded quite fabulous. bergerstraße is a largely pedestrian zone, populated by numerous shops and restaurants. parking can be a challenge to express it at ease, so they will probably park a little away and walk here. the environment is very tasteful and italian raised class, without being in the slightest prestige. the owner came to our table and was very friendly and helpful and recommended some meals. my partner is pescetaric (only vegetarian and fish diet), and we have found some nice options. after a wonderful salad loaded with fresh garnels, we went over to four different barley dishes - all were fabulous! my partner had a very beautiful pasta with seafood, I had a wonderful pasta with sharp spices (I forgot the name, but she was just sharp enough to excite her attention without being too sharp). our friends had two other pastas, of which they blacked (one was actually a trio beautiful pasta, which was beautifully presented and allegedly exquisite). the portions were good. the service was excellent. our water glasses never ran dry and the staff was very attentive and sympathetic. we started beating with German, then ordered a house-red wine at our meal times, and it was very good. After we finished eating, we were too tired for the dessert. my good friend ordered the young a round grappa (my first experience with it!). the ladies were pampered with a free limoncello, which was a nice gesture. I have to say if you stay or visit the Frankfurter stadtteil bergerstraße, you must try this wonderful new restaurant. they use the bornheimer hof as their real sign - this place is located in the ground floor and is somehow behind the esstic in the free at the street hidden your friends. good appetit! good appetit!"

"Inmitten einer Laubenkolonie (Kleingartenverein Waldfried) fühlt sich das Restaurant mit Biergarten bei schönem Wetterwie eine grüne Oase am Rande der Bürostadt an.Glaubt man dem Schild an der Kreuzung Lyoner Strasse /Goldsteinstraße, daß es nur 20m entfernt sei, findet man es nicht. Es sind ein paar Meter mehr.Passender ist die Entfernung von 200m, dann gelangt man zu dem nächsten Hinweis und der ausgehängten Speisekarte. So um 20:00 ist das Restaurant sehr gut besucht.Wegen der Suche bin ich beim ersten Mal gegen 22:00 eingetroffen.Obwohl das Restaurant um 22:30 schließt hatte ich noch volle Auswahl und freundliche Beratung.Die Präsentation der Gerichte ist teilweise eher schlicht und pragmatisch.Die Bezeichnung „scharf“ ist an europäische Gaumen angepaßt, derart klassifizierte Gerichte sind nach meinem Empfinden „mäßig pikant“ gewürzt.Aber man kann den netten jungen Ober ja höflich auf die vermisste Schärfe hinweisen und dann gibt es im Handumdrehen eine kleine Platte mit schönen, scharfen, indischen Sächelchen.Was habe ich probiert und kann ich empfehlen:• Samosa (vegetarische Teigtaschen)• Chicken Vindaloo (Hühnchen und Lamm mit Reis)• Garlic Naan• Masala Papadam• Curry House Grillplatte • NaanEs war sehr lecker, entspannt und der Service freundlich und flott.Beide Abende waren sehr schön – Vielen Dank an das Team"

"Wir waren letzten Samstag mit meiner Freundin da frühstücken und wie immer sind wir begeistert gewesen! Ich hatte Rührei mit Feta Käse und Frühlingszwiebel bestellt. Es war top! Dazu nahm ich den griechischen Bergtee. Es war für mich was neues hat aber positiv überrascht. Meine Freundin hat den Obstsalat mit Joghurt und Musli. Es bestand aus verschiedenen, frischen Obst. Hat ihr sehr gefallen. Ich mag Mika sehr v.a. durch sympathischen Leute die da arbeiten und Ambiente. Klein aber fein. Eine der besten Küche in Berger str. Sehr empfehlenswert. Weiter so!"

"Waren zu 8 zum Mittagessen und wir haben 7 Spagetti carbonara bestellt , die Spagetti standen 10 min an der Küchentheke bevor sie dan lauwarmen und trocken unseren Tisch erreichten. Sehr verwunderlich schaute ich auf meinem Teller und frage die Kellnerin ob das eine Kinderportion ist, frech antwortete sie mir "nein das ist alles genau mit der Wage abgewogen ". Seltsam nur das die anderen 6 Portionen fast doppelt so viel waren als meine. Plötzlich kam dann noch eine Portion carbonara von der Kellnerin mit einem herablassenden Ton am Tisch " da sie ja nicht von der Portion satt werden habe ich ihn noch eine gebracht ". Unglaublich wie man hier als Gast behandelt wird. Nie mehr wieder hier zum Essen ,nur die Suppe war sehr gut muss man noch erwähnen. Als es dann um die Bezahlung ging, mussten alle 8 Mann aufstehen und an der Kasse vorne bezahlen , Kopfrechnen scheint nicht so die Stärke der Kellnerin zu sein."

"I never thought it was possible to find a cafe that topped the charm of the Queen of Tarts in Dublin, but then again, I live in the Midwest, so my options are severely limited. I'm glad to see that there's a big world out there, and my life's dream is to make my way through it, one cafe at a time, calories be damned. There are some sacrifices in life that are totally worth it. Amelie's is a tiny hidden slice of heaven with a stunningly charming interior, expansive menu, and good service. The atmosphere is one of serenity and beauty, with delicious coffee, great lunch options, and beautiful pastries. It makes me hungry all over again, just thinking about Amelie's, and I don't mean just physical hunger. I mean a hunger of the soul that craves to be satisfied with the charm and contemplative grace that Amelie's provides. It makes me happy to be alive, knowing that such places exist."

Service: Der Grund für den Punktabzug! Für ein Restaurant dieser Preiskategorie bzw mit diesem Selbstverständnis unterdurchschnittlich. Fehlende Gabel zum Hauptgang und keine Nachfrage ob noch etwas zu trinken gewünscht sei ob gleich außer Wasser nichts mehr auf dem Tisch stand.Die Wasserflasche wurde mit einem Griff über den Teller auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite abgestellt und, und, und. Sind zwar Kleinigkeiten, dennoch trüben sie den ansonsten sehr stimmigen und schönen Gesamteindruck. Trotz der Fehler: an der Freundlichkeit wurde nicht gespart!"

"the eating was exceptionally good, the dame that was served was super friendly and professional from beginning to end. when we wanted to pay with our company credit card, we were told that they had to request an additional 5% fee because this was a company credit card. they also specify this in small letters in the menu. according to the European PSD2 guidelines set up in 2019, it is not allowed to make this type of surcharges on any payment with credit card. the owner of the company was not interested and added the 5% on the bill that we paid 16 euro for nothing. If they want an dinner in this restaurant, please make sure they know about these guidelines and they are not allowed to do this. either skip the restaurant (and unfortunately a great dinner) or note that they will pay extra and be demolished."
