"I had never been to this restaurant and we stayed Saturday for lunch for a birthday. we were really excited about this restaurant: Intimate, warm and you eat divinely! unparalleled cleaning and courtesy. Once you arrive, after the anti covid controls, they offer you a prosecco with a toothpick and then ordered. excellent appetizer and really original, both for the raw (ricciola, salmon and tuna with strawberries and crispy herbs) and for the crush (sea salad, chickpea cream and cod, burrata with Alice and many others). great choice of before, which could be customized according to the goto of the commensale: My cuttlefish with clams, abogganing and pachino were superb! I could not taste the fried because really satiated but seemed tender and unfrozen. We didn't taste the desserts because there was the birthday cake, but I'm sure they were all the way. congratulations to lillo and chicca!"

"Leonardo’s is set in a beautiful square just 2 minutes away from the Spanish steps. Walking in the decor was weird to an American because we have restaurants that attempt to replicate Italy. Now, to the food; my girlfriend has celiac disease so she got the gluten free pizza. It was the worst pizza she has ever had. The cheese tasted really weird. I tried her pizza and it tasted as if the dough was frozen. I had the cheese pizza with salami and carbonara pasta. The pizza was the worst that I have had in Italy. The carbonara was okay the pasta was cooked very well but the sauce had a little bit too much salt for my liking. Overall because of the pizza this place can be hit or miss. We were traveling with our Italian friends and they said that it was not as good as typical Italian food."

"We liked the look of 'Mirragio Club ' for lunch on a quiet Thursday in late season. We were staying at the affiliated hotel 'Il Mirragio '. The two stars are for the beach setting which is nice but that 's it! Well what a welcome. The restaurant was empty when we walked in and the first response we received was that the one reserved table was unavailable we saw the sign so knew that already without being told. We asked for a table in the same row and reluctantly it was given two place mats and cutlery. The attitude was frosty and far from encouraging our custom in an empty restaurant. The menu had to be viewed via a QR code which I had difficulty loading and we were curtly told that that 's it, QR code or nothing. At this stage we thought stick this, why spend our E100 or so in such a place so we walked out to the consternation of one of the chaps who seemed to be in charge and shouted after us. He told us that all the restaurants were the same along the beach so good luck finding somewhere better. Well we did, next door in fact, where the contrast couldn 't have been greater. Do yourself a favour and give 'Mirragio Club ' a miss!"

"My boyfriend and I visited Rome and wanted to spend a day in Fregene Beach. Getting there was a hassle but we made it and we’re starving. We decided to eat dinner at Taverna Paradiso. The restaurant was buzzing with people eating outdoors, music made a cool vibe. When we walked in, all eyes on us. As we asked the host for dinner for two she immediately said there’s no room for dinner with an attitude (there were plenty of tables) and that food is not being served, although other people were coming in to be seated and waiters are whirling around serving food. This tidbit shouldn’t matter but in this case it does we’re Black Americans and no one in that restaurant resembled us or any minority groups. I knew she did not want to serve us for the fact we were “different” whether our race, assuming we aren’t wealthy (the town is supposedly upper class) or because we’re not familiar. So without any debate we left. As we walked out a male host seemed confused and told us to come back. At this point we are really hungry and also lost (the local bus to the train doesn’t run after a certain time and we are stuck). We decided to come back and eat. As we sit I notice the female host and male host arguing. No one comes to serve us and once again all eyes on us which was very uncomfortable. Time passes and we have no menu no table setting, we get up and leave. As we leave we look for a way to the train. Thank goodness for a English speaking group of patrons who noticed us having a hard time. They offered to take us to the train station but we had to sit in this very restaurant and wait for them! We eventually sat down again and ate. Our order was incorrect, but at this point we didn’t care and just wanted to leave. All in all we had a terrible experience here. We felt like an animal in a zoo, the excessive staring almost felt like finger pointing and the fact they did not want to serve us was actually sad. Taverna Paradiso is not a welcoming restaurant. Also there’s nothing fancy or upscale about this corner street beach cafe for such a posh attitude, I go to fancier spots on a regular Monday night."

"Sono stato in spiaggia solo per ordinare due pizze da asporto! Ho trovato il servizio un po 'confusa infatti, dopo aver pagato, il mio ordine non era stato passato alla pizzeria e solo dopo più di un'ora di attesa e dopo la mia sollecitazione è venuto le pizze! Non troppo cortese la ragazza che ho chiesto di tagliarli e punte! Prezzi un pizzico sopra la media ma secondo un luogo di mare si può rimanere! Tutto sommato, tuttavia, la pizza non era male! Locale per provare in altri contesti per esprimere un giudizio completo!"

"in un bellissimo sabato a pranzo senza aver prenotato ci troviamo in un posto troppo pieno per le sue possibilità, consapevole di una lunga attesa abbiamo provato un po' di tutto, dall'antipasto al dessert. la crema di riso di scampi con pochi sapori e pochi scampi nella media ma non lo consiglia, i gnocchetti da evitare e la roccia veramente troppo salata, racconta completamente sul secondo la spigola alla griglia tra l'altro prende il nome l'ottimo ristorante! pesce fresco delizioso carne e cucinato alla meraviglia..patate in crosta deliziosa. Anche sui dolci un buon votoconclusioni: prenota e vai prima di pranzo di fronte c'è la spiaggia libera ordinato secondi di pesce e un doclerimarrete soddisfatto"

"Stasera ho scoperto questo bel locale che già adoro per l'atmosfera accogliente, lo staff tranquillo e le ricercatezze alimentari. Consiglio ad esempio i jalapeno ripieni di formaggio, la focaccia, il tagliere. Tornerò per assaggiare gli hamburger che chi era con me ha apprezzato moltissimo. "Choosing this restaurant was based on location (and proximity to hotel) along with the reviews. It was good but not outstanding by any means. I've eaten in some very good Chinese restaurants in Toronto and New York and the dumplings were just okay here. The skin/wrap for instance was a bit hard on a few of them. The flavour of the filling was also just okay. They were uncharacteristically small and not as plump as what you would generally find elsewhere in the aforementioned cities. Though it represents a change of pace if you will (while in Rome), it does not represent the best Dim Sum (or Ravioli as it's referred to here) that you could have. The service was great and the server very patient and kind but it dd get rather frantic once the tables were filled (and he seemed to be single-handedly managing them all), and the noise level increased substantially in the relatively small space. Overall, just okay."

"Ci sono stato con degli amici a pranzo. Il locale all'interno ha una sala non molto grande, però ha a disposizione una veranda di vetro con altri tavoli e qualche tavolino sul marciapiede all'aperto. Noi ci siamo seduti all’aperto essendo una bella giornata di sole. Il locale avrebbe molte potenzialità se solo venissero curati di più i dettagli (tipo i tavolini di plastica non sono molto carini . Il personale molto gentile ed accogliente, siamo stati accompagnati al tavolo e ci hanno portato un cestino di pane davvero invitante con un’ottima varietà (pane ai cereali, pane normale, pizza bianca ecc. . Il menu è molto variegato, adatto sia a chi mangia pesce che carne. Per i celiaci, come proposta, relativamente ai primi piatti, c’è la possibilità di poter fare il riso con qualsiasi condimento che il cliente trova sul menù. Consiglio: magari avere a disposizione la pasta senza glutine sarebbe un'ottima alternativa oltre al riso. I piatti erano belli nella loro presentazione e davvero buoni. Eravamo 3 persone e abbiamo preso 2 primi piatti, 1 secondo, 1 bottiglia d’acqua, 1 calice di vino e 2 caffè e abbiamo speso circa 17€ a persona."
