"My third visit here, three years after the last time, and once again I came out very satisfied. Here excellent produce and and dishes that are both creative and balanced are a guarantee. It 's good to see such a consistency at a high level of quality. After an excellent vegetarian starter (a mille-feuille of vegetables), gnocchi filled with cod were surely powerful, with the fresh peas and tonka beans giving another dimension, but the winner dish was the other primo, egg tortelli filled with liquid burrata, lemon and prawns: yes it was as luscious and ravishing as it sounds. One main was a perfectly cooked ombrina, the other was a seafood crudo (actually a starter, but we had it as a main), where the Sicilian prawns and the tartare of scallops from the Adriatic sea were the standout items, with their almost buttery texture and their iodine freshness. A very special tiramisu and a sweet-savoury dessert with almonds, peanut ice-cream, samphire and Taggiasche olives concluded on a high note. The wine list is interesting and well-priced. We tried a not so common regional champagne (metodo classico) made with taglio Manzoni (Riesling and Pinot bianco), a zero dosage, very dry and fresh and ideal for the hot weather and the mains we had. Food prices are very reasonable, service is professional and the room is understated and elegant."
