"A lucky handle!!! By chance came to this small but super fine restaurant in the center of Emden. They were received very nice and friendly by the boss. On the first evening, for a very fair price, we had a fish fillet plate with fillets of 4 different fish, fresh leaf spinach and roast potatoes, and on the other hand a fresh scavenger with agitated eggs, northern chops and delicious and homemade frits...we were so excited that we ordered a table again for 2 days later. This time there was a delicious fish soup with a fine fish fillet and a crab pot leaker crab cocktail. As a main dish the Tagliatelles with giant tiles and once the salad with fish taps and North Sea crabs, here again only best fish fillet had been processed cod, red bass, knurrhan and zanderfilet....All fresh and best quality. And also a super service that enthuses. We felt very comfortable and if we are back in Emden we will definitely come back to the restaurant Welvaart. An evening in a cozy atmosphere with delicious food is guaranteed here."

"I visited the hacienda for the last time yesterday. if you want to eat steaks, the first choice in emden. seldom a steak or meat piece is past at all points. Great!Aside the steaks or meat plate unfortunately very usual supplements - mostly Convenience TK frames (croquettes, pommes etc.). pity. great (humorful) service and a changeable ambiente (sometimes very nice in the window or in the building, partly very old and dark in the back part of the steak house). Conclusion: who is a meat lover who has stayed in the 80s gastronomic, comes here fully at his expense. for all others there are better alternatives. 3.5 stars"

"Wenn man die Tür öffnet und das Restaurant betritt, betritt man ein Kleinod. Nicht zu klein und nicht zu groß. Sehr schnuckelig und gemütlich sagt man bei uns im Süden. Das Gastgeber-Ehepaar (Sardinien /Kalabrien-Ostfriesland-Mix) ist sehr sympathisch und Gastfreundlichkeit wird sehr groß geschrieben. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und sind sehr lecker. Als Freund von Bruschetta probiere ich in jedem italienischen Restaurant vorneweg die Bruschetta. Hier eine interessante Variante das Ganze auf Fingerfood-Paninis serviert. Sehr fruchtig und lecker. Als Hauptgang gab es Penne Al' Arrabiata. Sehr interessante Note, da die Sauce in der Pfanne zubereitet wurde. Angeröstete Zwiebeln, Peperonchinis und Grünzeugs. Eine sehr interessante und aromatische Geschmacksnote. Da der Chef fast direkt vor den Augen der Gäste kocht, hängt der Küchenduft sehr intensiv im Raum. Ich persönlich mag das sehr, das schafft eine familiäre Atmosphäre."

"Das Essen war für 19:00 in ein Hospital in Emden geliefert. Pünktlich geliefert wurde das Essen. Das war es aber mit den positiven Eindrücken. Die Pizzen waren durch die Bank zu hart, hart an der Grenze der unbeißbarkeit ! Der absolute Tiefpunkt war aber der Thunfischsalat! Auf dem Bestellformular war extra ein Feld in dem man Nachrichten an die Küche hinterlassen konnte. Die Anweisung lautete ganz klar das ein Thunfischsalat mit Essig und Öldressing bestellt war. Sollte stolze 8.50 Euro kosten. Ein happiger Preis für eine Unverschämtheit von Salat, flächig zugekleistert mit Remo/Mayo, irgendwas. Alles, jedenfalls kein Essig und Öldressing nirgendwo. Für jede meiner Aussagen existieren Zeugen. 5 Menschen nahmen an dem Mal teil! Alle haben gesehen was ich gesehen habe. Geschmeckt hat es einem von uns 5 und das war nicht ich. Ich habe nicht geliefert bekommen was ich bestellte. Essen durfte ich den Salat wegen das unpassenden Dressings erst gar nicht zu mir nehmen! Ich bin wütend und stinkesauer! Wir haben zusammen 75 für mieses Essen ausgegeben. Einmal und nie wieder! Ich kann wirklich nicht empfehlen hier zu Bestellen. Tut mir leid. Meine erste, negative Bewertung seit ich Lebe und ich werd dieses Jahr 60......! Eigentlich möchte ich mein Geld zurück. Diese Bewertung klagt keiner aus dem Netz. X Zeugen waren Anwesend. Alle das gleiche gesehen und bekommen. Bestellwert 75 Euro."

"at this place they know what Sicilian gas friendship is. the people in the kitchen as well as the waiters in the restaurant come from sizilien and you get that! really good eating and the waiters have a lot of humor. they have a pizzeria to take along and a small restaurant on the other side of the street. there you can sit very comfortably. I am very glad that we found this place when we visited emden for a day. if they like to eat Italian, they go here. Not only the dinner is great, but there is also a large selection of homemade dolce, all kinds of wein and many spirits. and the price is very ok! tutto a posto! we will definitely come back here. a prosima!"

"Schönes Griechisches Restaurant. Gefällt mir am besten in Emden . Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden an der Straße oder gegenüber . Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Kurze Wartezeiten. Das Essen war top . allerdings habe ich nicht die ganze Speisekarte durchgesessen Aber meine Begleitung und ich waren sehr zufrieden mit unseren Mahlzeiten. Die Inneneinrichtung mit den Aquarien und griechischen Figuren finde ich sehr schön . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder ."

"Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Henris. Ein derart schmackhaftes und hochwertiges Produkt zu dem Preis habe ich schon sehr lange nicht mehr gesehen. Die gesamte Karte ist hochwertig und kulinarisch sehr ansprechend. Das Konzept, Menschen mit Einschränkungen einzubinden, fand ich hervorragend. "Wir reisten am 19.08.2023 an und waren Gäste in oben genannten Hotel. Da ist es naheliegend, dass man das Restaurant Jelena besucht. Hier gibt es auch eine Außenbewirtschaftung und Parkplätze sind überall ausreichend vorhanden. Wir waren gespannt, ob sich etwas zu 2019 geändert hatte, aber vorab, es war alles beim alten. Die Räumlichkeiten hatten sich kaum verändert, nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Wir bestellten gefülltes Schweinefilet (Tomate und Käse) mit Tomatenreis und Salatbeilage. Außerdem Hähnchenschnitzel mit Gemüse (frische Pilze, rote Paprika und Zucchini). Wir bekamen unsere Getränke sehr schnell und auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten. Dieses war gut angerichtet. Aufs Haus bekamen wir noch ein Gläschen Pflaumenwein. Fazit: Hier ist alles gut, gerne wieder."

"Bestellen regelmäßig. Die Lieferung dauert von Jahr zu Jahr länger. Die letzten 2 Mal knapp 2h (waren genau 1h 45min). 1x war kein Dinkel Teig vorhanden, man hat uns Eis zugesagt. War aber auch nicht dabei. Beim 3x dann aber geliefert von einem sehr netten Junge Mann (Personal sowieso immer gut drauf und nett). Auch habe ich das Gefühl, dass irgendwas mit dem Teig nicht stimmt. Schade. Da es in den 9 Jahren davor immer sehr gut Geschmeckt und schnell geliefert wurde 5. Sterne. Dieses Jahr 4 Sterne wg der Lieferzeit."

"Meine Schwiegermutter ist gestern da gewesen(Geburtstagsessen mit einer Freundin die öfters mit ihrer Familie dort Essen ging!! sie bekam verbranntes Hähnchen als sie es dann beim Kellner reklamierte kam er nach 3 Minuten zurück es wurde nur der Teller getauscht und das verbrannte unten ab/weg geschnitten. als sie es dann später der Chefin mitteilte im Anschluss (sie hat es dann gegessen da es ihrer Freundin unangenehm war das sie das gerade bei der Einladung erleben musste war sie sehr unhöflich und hat auf die vollen 17,50€ des Gerichtes bestanden vorher kamen wir öfters aber das hat sich nun für uns und auch für die Familie der Freundin erledigt so unfreundlich im Restaurant wurden die beiden noch nie behandelt!"

"I've known this la trattoria for decades. we rarely go to the Italian (approx. every 2 years). but always here. on Sunday we wanted to enjoy with our friends: 2 children, a child and 8 adults a cozy lunch here. At first we were served quite normal. the service has become more and more impersonal with the duration of our stay. appetizer on the table, no explanation what the brot belongs to. during eating no demand whether it tastes, and after eating no demand whether it tasted. with 2 eating something was wrong (1x hair in the onset and 1x pizza to 1/3 black). we have not complained to avoid further waiting time and it has been beaten under "can sometimes happen". After the waiter, we were not offered any attention (licor or similar). to evaluate positiw is eating. to the two patzers it tasted very good for everyone. the ambiente is typical of a restaurant of this age, but still cozy.I think the waiter was overwhelmed with the group size and the crying infant. to this I must say that the parents of the child often went out with the child so that the alms rest relatiw could be preserved.Since the service makes up the juices of the restaurant visit, we will not see each other again. in other restaurants we are always friendly service. to two, to ten, with or without children. in la trattoria we did not feel welcome. because it has tasted, I do not give up enough here."

"were in the el rancho yesterday with 4 people. we chose a bark fillet, rumpsteak the predator plate and the filled chopsteak. the steaks were fried on the spot (english and medium) and were a dream, even the meat from the predator was delicious and juicy, the creamy white cheese as it was in the map standing from the hacksteak was simply world class. despite full restaurant the service was very public and attentive. the entire impression from the local was very clean and tastefully decorated. "Arrived with a reservation on time and our party of were seated promptly… The two servers were prompt and since we had eaten lunch late that day we ordered our entrees directly… The menu choices were great and the cocktail arrived and came out...very small. They give a whole new meaning to shot glass, i would recommend drinking before you arrive. While we were ordering I saw a Hamburger go by to another table… WOW That made my Decision… Hey , I thought since the hamburger was invented in Hamburg, I can't go wrong. The others all ordered other items in the menu, BBQ, Local Fish, Schnitzels…. The server took my Burger order, told me it was the HOUSE SPECIALTY so he wrote it down… Then I questioned the server about it,was it fresh could he serve it medium rare… He said OK then took everyone else's order. Everyone else's order was perfect, everyone else said their dinner was awesome… My Burger was Dead on Arrival… The same server proceeded to tell me, in perfect english, We have to cook all our frozen meats to well done I asked him why he didn't explain when I asked during out order that their house specialty burger meat is a frozen patty??? Chef came out of the Kitchen to calm me down, apologize, so here I sit, everyone is finished their dinner, I'm Done. So… Owner of the Hafenhaus, If you read this, Get the frozen hockey puck off the menu and with as many cows I saw in Emden, go get yourselves some fresh BEEF"

"I was on my own and wanted to eat a nice portion spaghetti. I ordered a salat and a spaghetti carbonara. mixed salat came with cheese and a finished yoghurt dressing. for an Italian mixed salad not what you imagined below. when I had eaten my salat I could get the conversation between the waiter and the chef who did not talk in Italian but in any other language, so nix to do with italia. the waiter has explained the cook how he has to cook the carbonara. a little ham saw noodles finished. that was the cooking instructions for the help cook to cook a nice portion spaghetti carbonara. very tasty, but I was happy about it. I then got a portion spaghetti with slightly reddish sauce. When I asked the waiter who had not taken care of me, and also my ordered cheese and the pfeffer mill had not asked what that should be, he answered only that is done with us. I tried to explain to him that the reddish in a carbonara has nothing to look for, and only when I became more energetic then the chef tried to my table. he meant I got a new portion. he then sat down again on a table with a young lady, with whom more was busy than with his own business.
