"In Elmshorn und Umgebung kennt man Sette eher als Geschäft für Spezialitäten und gute Weine. Dazu gehört aber auch etwas versteckt ein kleines Restaurant, welches außer am Freitag abend aber nur über die Mittagszeit auf hat. Die wechselnde sehr kleine Speisekarte bietet immer etwas ausgefallenes. Wir waren im Oktober zu viert an einem Freitag dort, um auch mal "das Menü des Monats" zu probieren. Sette bietet dies in Abständen etwa einmal im Monat an und ohne Vorreservierung geht nichts. Diesmal bestand das Menü aus Sashimi Lachs/Pilze/Sellerie, Blutwurst/Kürbis, Hirschkalbsrückenfilet/Nuß-Kartoffelpürre, Brie mit Quitte und einem Mandel-Calvados-Schokoladeneis-Nachtisch. Für jeden von uns vieren war was dabei, an dass man/frau sich sonst nicht ran getraut hätte, es war aber alles war ausgesprochen lecker. Die mit einer Extrapauschale angebotenen begleitenden Weine passten gut zu den verschiedenen Gängen. Einziger "kleiner" Wermutstropfen war der Preis - 108 € pro Person für ein 5-Gängemenü + Getränke."

"Die Bedienung hat bei dem Schützen-Schinkenessen so dermaßen schlecht gearbeitet das es sogar zweimal bei uns für gleiche Getränke kassieren wollte !! Ich konnte sogar auf dem Handy die Kartenzahlung für die Getränke nachweisen…trotzdem wurde massiert und unangemessen auf mich eingeredet das es nicht sein konnte bis der Chef kam . Ich , die bezahlt hatte wurde so vorgeführt und bedrängt die Rechnung endlich zu begleichen das man sich so unwohl füllte das ich diesen Laden nie wieder betreten werde und jedem davon abrate."

"Here there is the very best Dürüm Döner far and wide. My family and I love him. Staff are always super friendly. Unfortunately, it is not so well equipped with parking spaces outside the door. It is a small parking lot on the other side of the street. It's a staircase to walk in. So not suitable for wheelchair users, but there are the nice employees and fellow citizens in Elmshorn who are helpful. UPDATE: For a few months the location is no longer one of our favorites. Background is a new tenant. As a result, the Dürum Döner has unfortunately become a disadvantage."

"Wir sind spontan an einem Mittwochabend zu viert in der Kantine essen gewesen. Als krasser Gegensatz zum Namen hat das Restaurant überhaupt nicht das Flair einer Kantine. Ich war vom Ambiente und der modernen Einrichtung wirklich positiv überrascht. An diesem Abend war außer unserem nur noch ein weiterer Tisch mit 4 Personen besetzt, was wohl auch der Lage etwas ab vom Schuss geschuldet ist. Parken kann man problemlos auf dem großen Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Der junge Kellner, der uns bediente, war entweder nur eine Aushilfe oder noch ganz neu im Job. Er war zwar sehr nett und freundlich, sonst aber sehr unsicher und nervös, d.h. er musste dauernd etwas nachfragen und öfter mal was runtergefallen ist auch. Aber aller Anfang ist schwer. Die Speisekarte bietet nicht allzu viele verschiedene Gerichte und setzt einen Schwerpunkt auf Nudeln. Hier hätte ich mir etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht. Auf unsere Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten, der Koch hatte ja auch nicht viel zu tun. Die Portionen waren ok und geschmeckt hat alles gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war auch in Ordnung. Hier kann man ruhig öfter hingehen!"

"The last time I ordered there was BROWN MUSHY SALAD on both burgers. The remaining fries, chicken nuggets and chili cheese nuggets were all jumbled together at the bottom of the bag even though I had previously asked them to be packaged well. Just threw it in the bag and that was it... But the burgers with the rotten salad really almost made me puke.
