"Went there for lunch with two colleagues. We took 2 pizzas and a spaghetti summer style from the menu. Pizzas were below average: I found topping cheese, ham and mushrooms pretty cheap, but positive note on top of a good thin base roman way… crispy, tasty and light . Unfortunately the spaghetti cherry tomato, rucola and mozzarella were disappointing: swimming in oil and cooking water and showing a little cure from the chef, which is a kind of shame for an Italian restaurant. Personnel and venue are nice we ate outside on a shared table, really social . Price paid too high for the quality of the meal. Must have been an unlucky event. "Location really good, but if you're coming by car especially on weekends you'll have a hard time finding a parking space close by. Food was excellent but the prices are a bit more high than other restaurants. i've had some beef with french fries and the other person a cordon Bleu with fries, 4 glasses of wine, one beer, and 2 pancakes and the pricetag was 175 CHF. The restaurant itsefl is cozy but a bit too little for my taste, and they also have a great bar in which you can have a whiskey or maybe a cocktail. Certainly will go again."

"Wunderbares Abendessen genossen. Der Empfang war sehr nett und herzlich. Die Karte war auf einem fahrbaren Paravan, den man dann selbst drehen konnte. Was für eine gute Idee in Coronazeiten und für alle sehr angenehm. Keine grosse Karte, dafür sehr ausgewählte Gerichte plus saisonales Tagesmenü. Unaufdringlicher, netter Service, Gläser immer gut gefüllt mit Wasser und Wein. Es wird auf regionale Produkte Wert gelegt. Ob der Fisch unbedingt aus Griechenland kommen muss den man ist, muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Das Entrecote aus dem Thurgau war sehr lecker, richtige Garstufe getroffen. Das Restaurant hat eine angenehme Grösse und die KellnerInnen setzen alles daran, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Preise für Zürich passend und angemessen. Als Bsp: das Entrecote mit Gerstenotto und Bernaise für 46. Öpfelchüechli für 12. als Dessert. Nicht günstig, dafür gute Zubereitung. Alles in allem einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Gerne kommen wir wieder."

"Dropped in on a Friday night w/o a reservation. Place was fully booked, but they had room at the bar. We chose the set vegetarian menu. The food was delicious -- freshly made with care. Considering how expensive restaurants are in Switzerland generally, the price was fairly reasonable. The bartender who took the order messed up a couple of things on the order, but (i) he was principally a bartender and not a waiter and (ii) he offered to try to make some part of it right. Overall, however, highly recommended."

"A very pleasant restaurant right in the center of Zurich. Santa Lucia is an Italian restaurant chain, but the standard is still quite high. It has a large number of tables arranged around the bar. "When we got in the door we had to wait a bit, but after that we got a good seat. The service was friendly and helpful. We got bruschetta as an amuse bouche which made us very happy. The bottle of wine came a little early because we hadn't finished our aperitif drink yet. The food portions were generous. In terms of taste, we found the starter salad with mushrooms to be okay, although I think there were a bit too many hot mushrooms on the fresh lamb's lettuce. "I don't come here often as it is quite far but the food never disappoints. There is a wide selection of food on the menu all made fresh. The asparagus menu I had the ravioli to start and it was impeccable !!! Then for our main course was beef stroganoff which is cooked at the table . You cannot order this menu unless it is 2 persons or more . Then to finish we had the tiramisu which again you feel like it has come straight from Italy but better! The Swiss quality of Ingredients has you wanting more from even the butter on the table! This place will not disappoint. "Came across this place as I arrived in Dübendorf after spending a few days on a business trip in Zurich. Walked inside with my mum and aunty and the service left a lot to be desired. A lady shouted over from the other side of the bar if we have a reservation in German. I responded no in german but my proficiency is limited so asked if she can speak English, then it all went down hill! She said we can have a table in the middle and hurried off, we went around the corner and it was a table of 6 so we stood awkwardly unsure if it was the one she meant. She completely ignored us, everyone else was looking at us like they have never seen English people before. Anyway a older gentleman who worked there as a waiter was very kind and helpful and almost made up for lack of service from the waitress. Pizza was okay, nothing to shout home about. Prices generally reasonable. Not rushing to go back as service was shocking."
