"Das Vivarium war eins meiner Favouriten, aber die letzten beiden male, hat es mir nicht mehr so geschmeckt. Mag sein, dass der Koch gewechselt hat oder vielleicht liegt es auch an der schlechten Laune des jungen 'Chefs'. Leider ist mir nun schon mehrmals seine arrogante Art auf negativ aufgefallen und auch mir gegenüber wurde er pampig, als ich nach 2 weiteren Speisekarten für Freunde bat, die noch hinzukamen. Sie wurden zwar nach Getränken gefragt, die auch recht schnell kamen, aber keine Speisekarte. Wir hatten schon unsere bestellten Speisen und deshlab wäre es halt schön gewesen, wenn sie schnellstmöglich hätten wählen können. Als ich danach fragte bekam ich folgende Antwort 'Ich mach das hier auch schon länger !'. Ich bin selbst im Dienstleistungsbereich tätig und hab auch ausgebildet.... so eine Antwort dem Gast gegenüber geht nicht ! Der Abend hatte für mich einen sehr unschönen Beigeschmack und ich werde mir gut überlegen, ob ich mir das nochmal geben muß. Ich bin Anfang 50 und seh zwar jünger aus, dennoch empfand ich diese Anwort als eine bodenlose Frechheit ! Als Gast sollten man zumindest als solcher respektiert werden.... ich zahle schließlich auch für den Service. Leid tat es mir für den netten Kellner und das junge Mädchen, die auch an dem Abend im Service waren. Überteuerte Nudeln bekomm ich auch woanders......"

"Zuerst dachte ich, ich hätte mich Verfahren, war es doch einige Jahre her seit dem letzten Besuch. Hinter Arheilgen am Waldrand gelegen ist es am Biergarten ruhig. Das Fahrrad oder Auto empfiehlt sich zur Anreise. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist geschätzte 25 bis 35 Min. zu Fuß entfernt.Man sitzt gemütlich um den Teich verteilt, muss aufpassen, daß einen der Pfau (die laufen da frei rum) nicht die Pommes vom Tisch klaut und die Kinder können schon auf dem Spielplatz im Gelände toben. Die Karte bietet deftige Kost von Wurstteller über Currywurst und Handkäs bis hin zur sehr leckeren Frikadelle mit Brot, Pommes und oder Tsaziki.Einen Ausflug im Sommer wegen des nahen Waldes auch bei Hitze zu empfehlen."

"the food is good but the choise on the menu is not as wide as it could be for a vegetarian restaurant(there s almost nothing vegan).My children and I loved the homemade chips and the weitresses are very kind and pacient and not snobbish like in many other places where they don t welcome you for a beer if you have kids with you.The bio beer taste lovely.Since I am a cook myself(italian)I would just offer a bigger range of interesting dishes changing the menu if not daily at least weekly without using so many pasta dishes and so many cheese dishes.But alltogether my reference is positive"

"Ce restaurant est à juste titre connu pour les différents types de schnitzel qu'ils servent, d'autre part, leur service ne semble pas vraiment à la hauteur de la tâche. Vous y arrivez seuls et posez poliment poser une serveuse s'il y a peut-être encore une chance ... d'avoir un repas, car il y a au moins des personnes à manger. Elle se renseigne à une certaine longueur dans la cuisine, puis revient et dit, oui, tu peux, asseyez-vous dans la pièce à proximité. Vous trouvez une place, enlevez votre manteau, asseyez-vous, regardez rapidement les menus qu'ils vous remettent la pleine, celle pour la journée et celle des boissons et, bien sûr, vous demandez un schnitzel. Surprendre! La réponse que vous obtenez est, trop tard, Schnitzel, pas plus de salades ou de spätzli. Vous demandez ensuite, la serveuse ne m'a pas dit que, pourquoi ne l'avez-vous pas mentionné en premier lieu? Pas de réponse pour cela, alors vous partez à peut-être que vous reviendrez une autre fois ... peut-être"

"Le meilleur petit-déjeuner ou brunch pour bien commencer la journée! La variété des plats est grande: de l'acarienggsmuesli classique au dolmahummusélection de poisson et de charcuterie crêpes savoureuses et sucrées salade de fruits olives fromages ... La nourriture était fraîche et délicieuse. Le prix est très raisonnable car les boissons au buffet sont séparées. Compte tenu de la variété et du prix de la nourriture, aucun des hôtels qui propose un petit-déjeuner moyennant un supplément ne peut surpasser cette offre. Viens ici! Nous y sommes allés un jour de fête et l'endroit était rempli de locaux. Le service est sympathique et rapide. Le lieu est situé dans une rue calme, pas de nez au quartier pour profiter de la nourriture. Si nous sommes de retour à Darmstadt, nous serions certainement de retour à Klang"

"In Darmstadt gibt es ja doch einige asiatische Restaurants und Schnellimbisse von unterschiedlicher Qualität. Der Asia-Wok-Garden gehört dabei für mich zu den besseren Adressen, denn hier bekommt man frisch zubereitete, schmackhafte Gerichte, ohne das in der asiatischen Küche so gerne verwendete Glutamat.Das Ambiente ist nett und gepflegt. Im Sommer ist der Innenhof-Garten zu empfehlen, der auch nett gestaltet ist. Die Karte umfasst im wesentlichen Mainstream, bietet aber auch Vegetariern eine nette Auswahl. Zudem gibt es auch die typisch asiatischen Reis-Nudel-Suppen, was gegenüber dem durchschnittlichen Asia Imbiss eine willkommene Erweiterung darstellt.Die Preise liegen leicht über dem eines Asia-Schnell-Imbisses.Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam.Insgesamt macht der Asia-Wok-Garden einen guten Eindruck mit Luft nach oben."

"Wir waren dort schon öfter Essen.Das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr lecker. Die Portionen sind etwas zu groß.Die Softgetränke sind im Gegensatz zum Essen, etwas überteuert. Beim Essen stimmt das Preisleitungsverhältnis. Der Tomatensalat ist sehr zu empfehlen.Aber auch die anderen Gerichte. Am besten man geht Samstags gegen 12:30 Uhr dort hin, da bekommt man auch einen Platz, dann nach wird es sehr schnell voll."

"We walked to this restaurant from NH Hotel and found just what we were looking for! It seemed to be a family run, one of a kind cozy restaurant with good traditional German food. It is obviously a favorite local place as it was filled and everyone knew one another. There were no English menus (a good sign) but waitress spoke perfect English. She was very helpful and kind. My husband and I each had a .5 L beer and a wonderful mixed salad. I had the small schnitzel with mushrooms and cream gravy and french fries. He had goulash with roasted potatoes. No room for dessert. The bill was under 20 euro. We may have to fly thru Frankfurt on our next trip to Europe just to go back!"

"We ate here on Sunday. There's a buffalo and it's weighted. There are only vegan and vegetarian dishes. There are many seats outside. The Maronenbraten and the filled Jalopenos tasted us particularly well. Here you have put a lot of effort and money in order to make the building and the areas as ecologically and natural as possible. For salad, main dish, dessert with coffee and water we have paid about €20/person. We like to come back."

"Wir waren hier zufällig essen, weil es im Schlemmerblock gekennzeichnet war. Das Restaurant sieht sehr modern aus ! Sehr groß und absolut stylisch !Das Essen war bis aufs letzte Bestandteil frisch ... das Brot war warm ... die Portionen waren großzügig (jeder wird satt!!) , und das Besteck sehr sauber (ist leider nicht überall selbstverständlich ).Das Essen sah sooooo lecker aus und es hat auch mindestens genauso geschmeckt .Ca 10 Euro für Tagliatelle ist okay, da ich mit der Qualität einverstanden war... selten, dass wir so begeistert sind von einem Restaurant !Kann es mit keinem anderen Restaurant in Darmstadt vergleichen !Wir kommen gerne wieder und wenn die Preise 1-2 Euro doch mal günstiger werden, dann auch gerne öfter !Sehr zu empfehlen !"

"After waiting for food for almost two hours when it arrived, it was mediocre, disgusting when we ended, delivered us a box with cores of the consumed data... "I just had a nice evening in kneipe 41 with an old friend. the place was quiet but not dead, the service was very good, overall a beautiful ambiente. I had a nice pizza romeo rucola, fresh -tomoatoes parmesan. for me it wasn't. I like it French style with a very thin basic and not much cheese, but the topping was very fresh and the whole tasted very good so I was quite happy with it. So, would I go back or recommend it? Yes, if you're looking for a place for a drink and a decent meal."

"The Cubana in Darmstadt can be compared with the Enchilada in Darmstadt. Beautiful ambience and good cocktails. But with great difference that in Cubana it is much quieter and there is a seperate smoker zone inside. Music is played, but this is not as loud as in Enchilada. All bars in Darmstadt are equally expensive, so there is no difference in which bar you enter. Anyone who likes it a little quieter and so breakable should definitely visit the Cubana. Age average can be badly appreciated, it is also broadly scattered... but all nice people!"

"Our local Indian in Darmstadt is the Shalimar (see separate review) but we thought we'd try out the Indian Palace for a change.It was nice to not have the chaos of the Shalimar - the table was ready as reserved, as it should be. The restaurant appears to be family run and you are greeted and served in a warm and friendly way.The papadams we shared to start were spiced with a little pepper and were delicious. The main courses came (a little too quickly). The first impression was that the portions were a little small, but they were sufficient, just don't expect to have left overs for a doggy bag.The quality of the food was very good and we all found it tasty. However the chicken vindaloo was not spicy at all, despite being ordered "very spicy" and this was very disappointing.A nice touch was being told we could keep and reuse our 2-for-1 coupon. "we my friend I have been more often ~7× in Lichtenberg. so the experiences are not a day fly. the worst way forward: the supplement. the last 3× we were there were the pommes lukewarm. at the last 2× we have explicitly mentioned that before ordering that the pommes should be fresh and hot. but puste cake. lukewarm to almost cold. naturally complained and then came hot. but who were so fat and after 5 days old oil tasted that we read them lying. but we're mainly here to eat burger. the first paintings I found them really good. but unfortunately, the quality has steadily declined. I had the one with jalapenos and so 250gr. rind, my friend one with lamb, mexican or so similar standing on one of the many extra cards. fleisch was relatiw dry, completely drowned in sose, which was clearly not self-powered, but came from a cheap super market bottle. Actually, we could not find any fresh ingredients, especially vague. the salate. the lamb could not be seen as this, it could have been bark or something. conclusion: we will have to say goodbye to Lichtenberg. because for the high prices to deliver such things is not in order. the service was always nice. I suspect that there is no need for a professional in the kitchen. I think a case for rosin. annoying: if you reorder a portion pommes a €2.50 is knocked off, but if you order the burger without pommes, then just one € will be deducted. How to understand?"

The selection of the card is extensive and offers a variety of dishes and drinks. Price performance is good. The service is competent, professional and friendly. The food is lovingly prepared and tastes fantastic, personally I found the burgers very good."
