"There is no longer much left from the former castle in Dachau, since the beginning of the 19th century. three quarters of the plant were broken down. Only one wing of the castle is still standing. In 1715 to 1717, the festive hall tract, which was set up in a baroque manner, remained at the court garden. The Renaissance garden behind it was also at the beginning of the 19th century. with fruit trees. He looks very beautiful, but quite curious. He reminded me of classic walled gardens (walled surrounded by a wall) in England. Today there is a café and restaurant in the upper class in part of the castle's premises. We looked at the menu; the prices reminded us of Berliner Nobelrestaurants. You can also drink coffee there, which is cheaper in the normal frame. During our visits we used the SB beer garden, which opened in beautiful weather; in the week from 15.30 h and on weekend from 11.00 h. Beer, non-alcoholic beverages and small foods as well as the ubiquitous, tasty pulps were sold at a stand. The pretzels are so huge that you can share them in a rusty manner. According to an old (Bavarian or Munich, as usual) tradition, you can bring your food and buy only the drinks at the stand. We saw some visitors who used this. There was a nice bread time on the table, with all kinds of treats. For this purpose, the men of the group purchased a few measurements of beer. We're not used to it and we'd rather buy a few little things to eat at the stand. We tried the already mentioned pulps. Once there were delicious bullets (here called meat plant), which were apparently fried and then heated in sauce. Excellent! At the stand a friendly gentleman served, who was happy about the guests and was very accommodating. The special is the fantastic view over Dachau to Munich. With a very good view you can see the Alps. We sat under shady trees, let us taste cyclists and porches, and we looked far into the distance. Life can be so beautiful... You can also have a view over the well maintained castle garden. The garden is open to the public; right next to the castle is one of the entrances. Even if we only visited the beer garden, we can recommend a visit."

"I am born in Dachau but live in the U.S. Short visit, but found some time to go out for dinner with my dad and an old friend. I wasn't sure if I could trust the reviews on trip advisor, as I haven't had great results during my last trip to France and Germany. But my friend confirmed that this was a nice place ( and also some of the other restaurants with good ratings in Dachau).I like to eat German / Bavarian when I visit, this being Austrian still fits that :). The meal started with an offered amuse bouche, tartare of beats and I believe avocado, very nicely seasoned and tasty. We ordered soups and I an appetizer of baked goat cheese wrapped in bacon with greens and crudités. Nicely plated, harmonious colors and very tasty- we all loved it. Mains: Duo of fish filets, duck breast and Filet goulash. All also very nice, everybody loved it ! The portions are a little smaller than in many German restaurants which was a very nice surprise, but still big enough so we only split one desert - prune dumplings, again very nicely prepared, a bit to sweet for my taste. Wine by the glass, white, rose and my red , quite enjoyable as well. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.Only negatives (which made them miss 5 stars in my book) : the main dishes didn't come together but with a couple minutes in between the first to the last. And the other negative ( for travelers with not much cash but credit cards ) they don't accept anything but the local EC card, so no Visa, no Amex.Overall I highly recommend this Vinothek Steirer and will definitely come back on my next trip."

"during our holiday we were four times in this restaurant. we liked to eat well, and it was also in the direction of the apartment. the restaurant is operated by vietnamesen. Accordingly, the offer is: a smaller selection of Asian dressed with delicious, light sauces. as usual in Asian restaurants, cheap lunches are offered. delivery service is also offered where dachauer is called against home service. the special thing about this place is the “Running Sushi”: on treads, small delicacies, not only sushi, past the guests. in the first three we ate à la carte. we took every one of those who were probably more grilled here than fried and was really delicious. there were them with different sauces; we took sauce with edible (no edible sauce that we got separated, but a dark sauce with edible pieces in it,) or cong po with a piedge sauce. as already mentioned, the sauces of Chinese natives were easier known. the fried noodles that were once ordered – of course – the greeds were even so dry (as “you” I don’t like them) and tasted very well. there was acidic suppe on the front; my companion once tried the Wan-Tan suppe from which he was finished. at the last visit I wanted to try the running sushi that I had always admired with the others. we have looked at what is past the bands, as we are not sushi friends, and see there, from sour-share soup to mini-ferry rolls, sushi and smaller more likely with different dressed, rice dishes, fresh fruit and small cake pieces until dessert all came possible. we took one of the tables on the treads, brought two dinners first and took all possible delicacies from the bands afterwards. I dared to get a sweet sushi that was delicious. the prices for eating correspond to the opposite, in the dunchner environment the prices are slightly higher than in berlin. where the run of sushi on the midday is offered much cheaper than in the evening. drink prices are also averaged. be offered tumblers and bottled, open and filled weine. there are only Japanese wein, hot or cold and Japanese reisschnaps. we always gave us a warm will to finish the meal that was delicious. the environment corresponds to an average porcelain restaurant. in the front, larger room is the running sushi, in the back, smaller room tables for guests who want to eat à la carte. before the entrance there are a few places for guests who order food from the house. the staff was friendly at all visits. After we had all the days to gasse, we took a little more. overall we can recommend a visit in this place."
