"During a city stroll on a Saturday afternoon, my friend and I felt hungry because we hadn't eaten at lunch. I had a desire for curry sausage and I spontaneously fell in the special bar, because I had eaten a curry sausage for years ago. In addition, at that time, two friends of mine stayed in the bar. In the evening, I was already the more opener for drinking beer in the special bar (in my opinion one of the better Coburger Weggeh Locations , but mostly quite full, but never before at noon. On weekends, there are frequent musicians or other artists. At about 13:00 we entered the place. Location/Ambience and Cleanliness The special bar is located in the pedestrian area of Coburg, but not too far from a bus stop and from a public car park. The bar is located on a side street of the notorious stone path, not far from the theater(place). A big glass front, over it a sign with the name of the local ranks. In summer, three or four tables are on the door. Inside first an elongated room with small tables on the side, at whose end the vault is located, then, two or three steps down the stairs, a square space there we took place with larger tables and a kicker. There is also a staircase down to the toilets. The facility is cozy, although a little bit sat down, and mainly held in red tones. The whole thing looks almost oriental to me. You might think, at least in the back room, you're in a Shisa Cafe. On the walls there are collapsing images, but they somehow harmonize with each other at the second glance. Cleanliness is quite right for a bar, we did not pick up the toilets. Chapel four stars for location/ambient and also close four stars for cleanliness. Service The service was satisfactory, but no more. The male, about 35 years old service quickly brought us the menu and picked up our beverage order. I asked about the beer of the month (in addition to standard beer, there is a beer of a Franconian brewery changing every month and then ordered it. It was a white-oher bell light, which I had only drank a few weeks before and was good. The beer was taken in the bottle (0.5l, was appropriately cool and cost 2.80 euros. My friend had nothing to do with her cappuccino for 2.40 euros. The food was also brought quickly, after which the service was no longer able to look. When we wanted to pay, a few minutes passed until the service came past our table. Three stars for service. The menu includes various smaller dishes such as curry sausage, burgers, salads, baguettes and toasts. Vegetarian dishes can be enjoyed on the map. The food I ordered a curry sausage with pommes for 6,50 euros, my friend a salad with turkey breast for 7,80 euros. The food came after about 20 minutes and was hot. Both the salad and the curry sausage with pommes were nicely dressed. The curry sausage was of medium size and taste very good. It was a soft sausage, i.e. rather a sausage, and no, as in Oberfranken usually, sausage. The portion of Pommes was huge and the Pommes were among the best I've ever eaten. Thin, outside crispy and in juicy tender. The sauce was, I think, made itself (my compliment for it and tasted very tomato and hardly after curry. Was also very tasty. My friend was also positively impressed by her salad, which was handed with three slices of baguette. The portion size was neat and the poultry I also cost was plentiful and nicely fried. Good four stars for dinner. Price performance ratio and conclusion I feel the prices for Coburger ratios as minimally too expensive, but the quality of the food and the fresh beer of the month make this up again. I think four and a half stars are justified for the price performance ratio. The special bar is a cozy bar where you can not only enjoy the alcohol in the evening, but also eat very tasty. I recommend the special bar both for drinking and for eating a little bite in between. 4 – gladly again (I can’t decide between 4 and 5, but first leave it at 4 (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it turns out again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely back to kitchen"

"On a Friday night, I wanted to go to dinner with three good friends. The choice fell to Dionysos. I was against Greek food, but I was just overwhelmed. Because I'm not a friend of Greek cuisine, as I find it little ingenious and varied. All dishes include rice and tsatsiki/Zaziki. There are pigs and lambs in meat, which are all seasoned and fried in the same way (sometimes simplified and exaggerated, but this is about my view, with which I probably don't make friends here. The capacities of the Dionysos were not fully exploited this Friday night. The restaurant also offers its meals to pick up. Location/Ambience and Cleanliness Dionysos is located in the Coburger district of Cortendorf, opposite the huge building of the former brewery Scheidmantel. The dionysos itself also gives the impression of being very large from the outside. That's it. I think it's here in the area one of the restaurants with most seats. However, it is divided into several smaller areas so that it still gives a cozy impression. The individual areas are all beautifully decorated. So there are Greek paintings, statues, arches and plastic grapes on the walls. The whole thing does not look cheesy, but very stylish. A lot of work is done with yellow or gold tones. I like the ambience very well, unfortunately I was too warm all night over myself in the T Shirt. There was nothing to complain about cleanliness. Both the guest room and our table and the toilets were clean. Four and a half stars for the ambience and also four and a half stars for cleanliness. Service To welcome, I can't say anything because I came to our little team a little later. The operators (white shirt, black trousers were friendly all night, although they did not have much warmth. We had to wait almost a quarter of an hour for our drinks, although the place was only filled to two-thirds. I drank a large orange limo (0.4l for 2.60 Euro and a small Cola (0.2l for 1.60 Euro). Asked if everything is to our satisfaction was not. The service personnel were little present overall. But I think four 20 or 21 year-olds in almost every place are taken care of differently, for example a couple in the mid-fifties. Well, all in all three stars for service. On the menus you can find some cold and some hot appetizers. There are also some soups and salads. In the main dishes one has the choice between typical Greek meat and fish dishes and dishes and plates or Plates that combine the whole. Nothing special. The food My friends ordered the garlic bread for 3.50 euros. These were five slices of roasted baguette with Tsatsiki and tasted them. As main food I ordered the village plate (Steak, Souvlaki, Gyros with tsatsiki, rice and salad for 11.50 euros. The main course came about 15 minutes after the appetizer. I can't make a statement for the supplemental salad unless it seemed relatively small. So to the other components: The Gyros was very delicate and juicy. That was clearly my favorite on this plate. Souvlaki and the pork steak hardly differed from each other tastefully. Both had gotten a little too dry. The meat was all a little too weak and too boring. The rice again tasted. I can say little about the Tsatsiki, because I usually don't like to eat Tsatsiki. Yarned the whole thing with a few raw onions. The size of the portion was neat, I am tired, even though I was not completely satisfied afterwards. In addition, another village plate, a grilled chicken breast fillet with herbal butter, Zaziki, rice and salad for 10.90 euros and a gyro with metaxasauce and cheese were baked, with rice and salad, for also 10.90 euros. There would be close three stars for the food, as the others were much more enthusiastic about their dishes than I were, I give three and a half stars for the food. Price performance ratio and conclusion The prices for the drinks are within the framework, which for food is slightly above the standard level in Coburg. The Dionysos tries so I have the impression of presenting itself as something more sophisticated than other locals in the area. At least in the ambience this also succeeds. Otherwise, the restaurant supplies average. Three stars for the price performance ratio. For my part, I decided not to visit any Greek restaurant as soon as I just won't be happy. From me there would hardly be the verdict 2 again. However, I would do wrong to the Dionysus and therefore forgive 3 if it results again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it arises again, 4 – happy again, 5 – definitely again note: I don't think it's good that at the vault as well as at the exit journals of the Free Apostolic Pentecost (I have been looking for some posts on the Internet And that's the way they're looking at everyone. I think a restaurant should be a religious space."

Valentino's Coburg

Pizza • Pasta • Salate • Pizzeria

"Sunday night, 7:00 p.m., movie night with mates. My friends get hungry and decide to order pizza. A friend suggests the Valentino 's (as I hate this deppenapostroph in restaurant names in Creidlitz. After studying the menu on the Internet, the choice finally falls to Valentino 's. We needed several attempts to get through. Circa ten minutes after our first call and after five times the occupancy sound was heard, we could make our order. The food was waiting for you for a long time and a half hours before we received our delivery. Even though it was a Sunday evening, I still feel the time span a little too long. The pizza messenger who gave us our pizza was kind enough. Menu The repertoire of Valentino 's includes the standard meals of a pizza delivery service. Thus there are 25 pizzas according to the map, but you can compile your pizza yourself. Each small (d: 28 cm pizza costs 6.50 euros, every medium (d: 30 cm 7 euros and every large pizza (d: 32 cm 7.50 euros). A family pizza (60 cm x 40 cm strikes with 20 euros to beech. I find that a pizza margarita costs just as much as a pizza with several different charges. There are also thirty different pasta dishes, each costing between 4 and 5 euros, some salads between 5 and 6 euros, three desserts, as well as Calamaris, Chicken Chips, Schnitzel and Beverages. The food We ordered a total of three pizzas. I chose a classic: a great pizza special (with front ham, mushrooms and peperoni for 7.50 euros. When the pizza was delivered, it was still relatively hot. The cuts of the pizza were only indicated. That means that the cuts were a bit to see, but it still required some effort to share the pizza in quarters. Now to taste: The pizza was edible, more but not. The pizza was well baked. However, I found the edge and the outer part of the pizza much too dry, as well as too hard and also somehow tough. The cover was 0815. The Champignons and the Peperoni were also too dry and probably came out of the glass. Cheese, ham and tomato sauce were fine, but also not very great. Secretly, I was glad I shared the pizza with someone and I had to eat only half the pizza. It should also be noted negatively that the pizza was mainly occupied in the middle and the coating was not evenly distributed over the whole pizza. This made the neighborhood difficult to eat. My fellow citizens had a similar impression. Two stars with a tendency to three stars. Price performance ratio and conclusion The price level is difficult to evaluate by the fact that every pizza costs 7.50 euros. For a large pizza margarita I think 7.50 Euro is too expensive, for a large pizza special I feel 7.50 Euro as justified. For a pizza in the same size and two or three other ingredients as cheap. Since the pizza was filled and edible, but there were some negative criticisms, I decide for close three stars. All in all, I do not recommend this delivery service. Since there are unfortunately no alternatives in the area, I think that I will still order Valentino 's in the future and the delivery service will receive a second chance. 2 barely again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – necessarily back to kitchen trip"

Prendre plaisir! "Last weekend was originally planned to honour a Greek in the surrounding area. In the short term it was planned. It should be inner-city and German. On the way there were five adult people who had reserved seats a few days before. Very normal, without special events. People who appreciate good food as well as a well-kept beer. For all of us there is a cozy environment for eating in peace. So it happened that we met before the place at the agreed time at 7:00 on Saturday night. And before the entrance of the place the first confusion: today closed from 9pm! With hunger, the expectation of a beautiful evening with more than one gang and question mark in the eyes. We're entering the place. Sudden silence from the group at the entrance right. Who doesn't know them, the exaggerated situations in films when the chapel fades, the guests stare at the new arrivals and, after a certain time, raises the gem? Here only the chapel missed.... We were led by a friendly lady to our place. In the midst of zig pendulum clocks, which draw attention to themselves with their TickTick. In arched spaces of the ancient style; it is an ancient, historical building on the edge of the old town of Coburg, no wonders of light are expected. It's stupid, almost post-apocalyptic. The maps were distributed very quickly to us. I would like to note that I was on the internet for free looking for a page of the restaurant. I felt against it, reviews that could not be more different and threw me into a changing bath of feelings. Also the search on Facebook was only crowned by a partial success: the reference to the website leads a dead link to the portal restaurant criticism that has been exhibited for a long time. And among us, if I had seen the prices invoked, I would have hired a veto. There are only two possibilities in our region: it is either very much on the plate, rather simple. Or it's a normal portion, very high for that. The readout on the Internet has unfortunately caused me to fear the first. So it came that we are forgiven for giving me approximate prices, because we have not received partial invoices. as follows: Grill plate about 19 Euro Schnitzel ala Chef ca. 15 Euro Cordon bleu ca. 15 Euro Schnitzel with Senf Meerrettich Panierung ???? € The beverage prices were probably what is currently considered to be suitable for tourists in Coburg. It took some time to get our food to the table. But freshly prepared and hot at least in my case. At first there was a small tray with the associated supplements. It was a salad and fries with me. The salad exactly as I like it. Raw food, perfectly seasoned, I think I had a hint of garlic with the carrots. No matter, great. The pommes nice crispy, not too sharp, great. One of the scavengers with mustard and horseradish. Disillusion with the ladies who chose that. A breakdown that was taken together twice as thick as the carving meat itself. The outer part crispy, the closer to the carving meat, the more soy. Also the certain sharpness derived from the description in the map and desired was lost. So the fight against a meat panning melange began, which was not to win. It was one of the terms that fell. The lady on the right side of me then also complained about a proper heartburn. On the other hand, the potato salad, also the radish, was very enjoyable, and all those who tried it were agreed. A unanimous opinion of the two women eating this dish: no more! The grill plate for 19 euros. We call in memory (yes, I know you don't compare SOLL anymore, but I do that anyway, cry... that 19 euros were almost 38 DM. Weapons came to the table. Meaky, more, less tanned potatoes that float in the frying oil. With a taste of oil. This was also said to the service lady while serving, which was acknowledged with a shoulder streak. It was extremely striking with the bacon beans. I don't know how and why, but also these are swung in fat. If a very good eater and connoisseur of matter give up voluntarily beforehand (in another place we left ourselves down to dessert.... then that means nothing good. One day after that, he still has the feeling in the stomach area to have done nothing good to his stomach. The Schnitzel ala chief of my accompaniment consisted of the following parts: Panten pork, mushroom sauce, potato roast and salad. Salad and Rösti very tasty, a great sauce and a very thin scavenger, which has also been framed here by a breakdown in a total of almost three times in strength. Here too was too much on the plate. One or two euros less and an appropriate amount, even without an empty stomach, would be better. My cordon bleu. Actually, not bad, I just wished a slightly more powerful cheese here, other customers would prefer it mildly. So, no lack. Pommes and salad were perfect, my panning was quite thin and crispy until the end. So I was lucky. Besides: my portion was too big. Who stands on XXXL portions will be happy here. The toilets can be reached as well as the restaurant. To the ambience... For guests who need an experience excellent. The place speaks with its design and probably also with the map the people who visit Coburg as tourists. And the many. Unfortunately, not what could have been due to the fact that we felt under time pressure. A small note on the phone when booking and days later when the reservation was increased would have led us to postpone the visit by a week. So remains in memory: hot, greasy, uncomfortable (by the loudly ticking and all the other(! going, partly sounding watches . Clearly, it is called BratwurstGLÖCKCHEN, but you don't have to overdo it either. Our conclusion: No more... You can love it or hate it, there won't be much in between."
