"we thought they would like to know that the white hard awarded 5 stars on gastrohub. here is the review of the website. a memory string was forced into dads when we passed a sign for harding. we followed the sign and found ourselves at the white hard in south harding. we could immediately feel the mysterious pub magic in the air. a friendly reception, a small bar, a lightly worn parquet floor and the smell, which is especially the finest English pubs. we took a table at the kamin, which unfortunately was not illuminated, although we had a candle on the table that was. we, especially I, were very excited when we plucked through the menu. great variety, fair prices and a clear eye for imaginative details set this menu a class above the norm. I even made the courageous statement that this could be the best menu we've ever seen. the cherry on the top was the lunch set menu, offering two courses for £15 or three for £18. this is the direction we decided to take. dad chose, smoked ham-hock and black pudding-terrine with piccalilli, pork knistert and brot. for his main, bark and barkworst, senfmaic, thorny and crispy leeks. they can see how we were thrilled about this menu. it shows effort and carefree so that they want to eat it. for my part I have picked the roasted, smoked petersnip soup with lime-crème-fruit, Petersnip-crisen and brot. after that, tempura followed fried red mullet with noodles in a limette and soy cloth. that is not the type of eating they would find in the rule on a set lunch menu in a pub. it quickly became clear that our instincts were correct. the food was presented beautifully. the suppe was perfect and the parsnip cracks light and tasty. the terrine was wonderful, on another level of piccalilli and crunching. the brot was fresh and the service was still right. when the main thing arrived, we were already convinced that we had found something special, but the food we put before us served only to cement what we already believed. there is a serious cook here that would not be out of place in a fine restaurant. my tempo-mullet was absolutely perfect and dressing on the noodles was immense. dads was equally impressive, with the crispy laeks, which acted as a perfect balance to the creamy maic. not only were we amazed to find such food on a set menu for such cheap trips, but we were also pleased to see good portion sizes. set menu can often mean less food for less money, but not here. it was literally nothing wrong with our food, it was from an incredibly high standard. to the happiness it was a rare case to find amazing food in a wonderful pub, so the perfect pub storm. this can even be our new best pub at all, or at least in the three tops. If they are not here, we ask them to try it, they will not be disappointed."
