"I recently dined with my family at the Royal Garden. We have visited this restaurant many times in the past without any issues, but this time, the entire experience was disappointing. After ordering our starters, we waited for 30 minutes without them ever arriving. When we inquired, the staff seemed unaware of our order, so we had to place it again. When the starters finally arrived, they were incorrect and one dish was served cold. The server was apologetic, but the older woman who appeared to be in charge was abrupt and impolite. We felt unwelcome throughout the meal. When I mentioned the various issues we had encountered, including the long wait, having to reorder, receiving the wrong dish, and receiving cold food, I requested a discount on the bill. However, the older woman declined, claiming that we eventually received our food and that other patrons also had to wait. The entire meal dragged on for 2 hours due to these problems. While the young servers were excellent, the management seemed indifferent to our dissatisfaction. We were never offered more drinks and overall, our experience was disappointing. We have decided not to return to this restaurant."
