"My parents first took me for a birthday meal to an amazing restaurant in the next village (Clapham, Bedfordshire) back in not too long after Vesuvios first opened, I was instantly hooked on the amazing food, fantastic service, and incredible family atmosphere. Family...celebrations happened there regularly for many years, until the restaurant moved to the new site in Sharnbrook. Obviously we followed, and although my father had passed by then, mum's birthday, my birthday, and my brothers, and various anniversaries were celebrated there annually. For the last few years I have also been a regular attendee to car shows there, first as spectator, and then more recently over the last year or so attending with my own supercar. The food, atmosphere and service have never changed, they were amazing plus years ago, and are no different now. Vesuvios and Sharnbrook Hotel in general, in my humble opinion, stand out as the epitome of a family run business geared solely to attending to the total satisfaction of every one who walks through the door. Wish we could award ten stars, although they probably deserve ten times that, long may they continue."
