"We have wanted to go here for 2 weeks now, but never seemed to make it. The cafe was recommended for their Rhubarb pie, but unfortunately we came around 5 and they were out at 4. So, we had their Wiener Apfel Strudel with vanilla ice cream, some whip cream and a half slice of strawberry. I don't eat whip cream, so my spouse got mine, but the strawberry was good and so was the ice cream. They heat up the pie, which is nice, but the actual crust around the pie reminds me of Baklava, which is not really something I think fits apple pie. So, heated and good ice cream, but not going to have the apple pie again. However, my spouse liked it, as it was different from what he was used to, but still tasty. His Latte Machiato was good, but the prices for drinks and the pies are definitely higher than other cafes where we have had better. Ours cost 6.50 each for the Apfel Strudel. So, while we will go to try their Rhubarb pie, we will skip their apple and their scoops cost the same as other places, they have some interesting flavors and if the vanilla is an indication, the other flavors are probably really good. Our server was pleasant, and had we needed to get everything translated to English he would have, but since not, we spoke in German. The people watching is good, but if you are used to eating in the States where even outside there is no smoking allowed, that is not true here in Germany, which is usually not an issue, tho here the tables are so close, the smoke goes into your face. Went back for their Rhubarb pie and they weren't out, so we both ordered one and really enjoyed it! In fact, of the 4 places I have had this treat, this is the first in the ratings. Yummy! The crust was perfect, the sweetness just right. My spouse had the whipping cream on the pie, and he said it wasn't sweet, so that was fine with him. He too felt that it was the best we had eaten so far at a cafe. He had a Cappuccino this time, and it was a bit sweeter than the Cafe Macchiato, so next time he will stick with the Cafe Macchiato. Pleasant service again, got a table under the umbrellas and enjoyed people watching again. This is the place to go for Rhubarb pie!"

"the beer garden was opened, unfortunately you have forgotten to adapt the ambiente. it lacks plants, deco and beautiful design of the children's playground. only bierbänke are set up. also can be seen entrances to warehouses unmistakably recognizable for the guests. also negatiw lacks that the managing director always sits with an ice cream incl. vodka or champagner in front of the restaurant with friends, which does not make a professional impression. the personal is no longer as flash as before, it was quickly set unskilled staff. the service deficiencies are clearly recognizable, please simply introduce learned staff! the price structure of the menu is very questionable, on the one hand calamari for 14 euro on the other side currywurst for 6.50 euro. I guess this was wrongly calculated that a court too expensive. the other relatiw inexpensive. akademiker would make more sense, so live and live in the mountain area of bamberg many academics. a specialization on fish feeds would generate you a monopole position in bamberg, even the unicorn cellar already has a grill in the beer garden! desserts makes the cook occasionally, unfortunately, those are not on the menu of repeated criticism! the prices have recently been around approx. 1 euro per food raised, unfortunately I do not recognize any more value. in the opposite: the courts were smaller, the service and the ambiente worse! Please take the critique to heart!"

"Have visited this place in Saturday day, generally all restaurants are closed till 17:00, and this place worked, there was no wish to go to a bakery, have decided to eat fully. The restaurant is on the adjacent street from main pedestrian, the interior of restaurant leaves much to be desired, furniture quite old, rather filthy, looks isn't fresh and isn't pure. It wasn't populous. We have ordered caprese salad, paste carbonara and frutti di mare paste in wine sauce. From drinks white beer and Aperol. Drinks have given within 10 minutes, has surprised that in Germany beer to us was poured from a bottle. to Aperol there are no claims. As we have understood from personnel only one waiter, he is a bartender, and one woman in kitchen. The waiter doesn't manage to serve visitors, on the next tables isn't cleaned from other guests of restaurant, dirty devices, napkins... have brought us paste, food not qualitative, mussels and a shrimp in paste were for a long time not fresh, wine sauce was very sour, a smell not appetizing absolutely. paste carbonara was strongly put too much salt... we didn't begin to eat up. Later elderly couple, the woman the German, the husband the Italian has come, the personnel became fuss, we have understood that it is owners.Having seen them everything became clear. an institution in such look is kept by people of old views, and strongly save on everything.Forgive, but so it is impossible, quality of food, this human health, thus that the prices not small. A little later we had a discomfort in a stomach ((I don't advise this place, especially with children at all!!!I wish to owners of an institution to reconsider the views concerning quality of products, number of personnel and an interior."
