Super nettes Team, gemütliche Atmosphäre - u. das Essen war richtig lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt - nicht selbstverständlich in Konstanz... Komme gerne wieder!

This restaurant is located right by a very busy road. We sat outside on a warm evening and the traffic was quite disturbing. However, the food is good, the service was fast and efficient. Would go again.

Speisen sind lecker und schön präsentiert, also das Auge ißt mit.Vor allem die Schnitzel sind lecker und in verschiedenen Größen bestellbar.Bedienungen sind nett und zuvorkommend und das Ambiente ist drinnen wie draußen sehr angenehm und gemütlich.

This is a cozy, neighborhood restaurant with a friendly staff and good German food. The Zigeunerspieß, which is a skewer with beef, pork, onions, and potato wedges, is very good. I stayed in Konstanz for several months and wish I had tried this restaurant sooner! (Note: the "Cocktailsauce" listed with hamburgers is actually ketchup.)

Wir haben mit Freunden zu Silvester im Ziegelhof gegessen. Das Restaurant ist ein gut bürgerliches Restaurant, bei dem das Küchenpersonal und das Servicepersonal auf bodenständig sympathische Art ihr Handwerk versteht. Vom Schnitzel Wiener Art über die Schweinemdaillons war das Essen lecker, reichhaltig und wir hatten eine stets gut gelaunte und humorvolle Bedienung.Auch die Speise- und Getränkekarte ist gut, das Rrestaurant bietet gute Weine und Spirituosen an! Weiter so, wir waren nicht das letzte Mal in diesem Lokal.

We used to go here often a few years ago and stopped back this year. It is still quite comfortable, and hte service is OK but the menu did not win us over. Maybe we ordered wrong, but the sauteed fish on a salad was too salty and the salad was way sour (actually not so untypical, but did not work with the fish). My wife had a schnitzle and fries, and it was dull. the amounts of food are quite large and so the price per 100g is not so bad, but that is not what attracts you. The atmosphere on a cold evening was comfortable as usual.

We were staying at the Hotel 47 Grad and chose to dine at Ziegelhof as it was a 5 min walk away. We booked online using their website but when we got there they didn't have our reservation. Thankfully they had 2 spare tables and we sat in the garden area.Throughout Konstanz (and Germany) there are a large number of people who like to smoke which can ruin the dining experience but maybe because this restaurant is in the university area we were lucky enough to find that no-one was smoking.The menu was in German but the waitress guided us through it in English.
