The restaurant has a beautiful winter garden, and we chose to sit there. Our table overlooked the terrace. We ordered only appetizers, and they were all delicious. I particularly recommend the falafel, as they were incredibly crispy.

This restaurant is the perfect spot for lunch. We enjoyed sitting outside on the beautifully decorated terrace. For appetizers, we had the falafel plate and hummus. The mixed grill we ordered was superb, and the service was excellent.

Lately I have been really getting into middle eastern foods so an opportunity to check out Yasmeen in St Johnâ€s Wood was always going to be on the cards. The premises have undergone a big refurbishment under the current owners and suffice to say, they have presented with a beautiful setting both indoors and out. Voir le carte

Skip from St John’s wood station along Grove end Road and you’ll come to the famous Abbey Road crossing surrounded by the obligatory swarm of tourists. We wormed our way through and up to Blenheim Terrace to Yasmeen. As we walked up past Abbey Road studios we also passed plenty of beautiful flats houses, playing the dream home game. I found mine!

As the music played softly in the background, a veritable potential soundtrack to the Prince of Persia series (the Sand of Times one comes to mind), I could have easily been transposed back to that restaurant in a back alley of Hurghada, should I have closed my eyes. I’ve never fully understood why my wanderlust has such a peculiar effect on me whenever I go to a Middle Eastern restaurant.

St John's Wood is a picturesque neighborhood located at the border of the City of Westminster and Camden Council. As you head north on Abbey Road, you will notice a distinct change in scenery from Westminster's tall tower blocks to Camden's social apartments. This affluent area is home to residents who enjoy proximity to Regent's Park, Lord's Cricket Ground, and the legendary Abbey Road Studios. St John's Wood is predominantly residential, with a mix of salons, shops, and restaurants scattered throughout. Apparently fish and chips is the latest trend in the Parisian gastro scene which got me thinking about transplanted food cultures and influences. Would a Parisian fish supper be acceptable to the average Brit? Middle Eastern cuisine is one of the top foodie trends of 2015. Since visiting Marrakech late last year, I have become quite the fan, even though I don't find myself eating as much of it as id like too. Lebanese in particular is one cuisine I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing thus far to date, so I was most excited when asked to come along and review this newly eating space in St Johns Wood. As we entered Yasmeen Restaurant we were welcomed with a smile and seated immediately.There were ten of us altogether out on a work do and I'm always skeptical when in a group that the service won't be able to manage all of our expectations, but I must say... I was very pleasantly surprised. The waitresses were attentive, the ambiance was comfortable and the Lebanese food was delicious and served fresh in good time. I, and a few of my colleagues had the shish taouk main which I'd recommend as we all thought it was very tender.
