"My mother and I walked past this little gem of a restaurant by chance very late on a Saturday evening after going to watch a performance at her Majesty’s Theatre. We were surprised to see something open and as soon as we saw the word...“Indian” we were already stumbling through the door. Upon entry we were greeted straight away and made very welcome! (This is what we were most grateful for as even though they weren’t long from closing they still seemed happy to serve us so late in to evening We sat around the middle of the restaurant and since there were only a few other families inside the service was quick and everyone seemed to be attended to. The whole vibe of this place was very relaxing and had a sort of family feel so we were most comfortable throughout. The experience was really made for us when we realised the entire menu was Vegetarian, so we got very lucky with this place since having only recently turned Veggie! ... And WOW, did we find the Menu impressive! If only we could of had it all! The food itself was beautiful, we couldn’t fault it at all. From all the different flavours, to the spice level of the curry, to the temperature of the food, everything was lovely. We thought the prices very reasonable and were surprised how cheap the bill was was considering the location and what we ordered. We’ve paid similar in our home town and we live in the suburban part of the Midlands so how can anyone argue it’s expensive baffles me. Overall, It was the perfect end to a perfect day! We will definitely be returning again to try out the rest of the menu. Thank you to all the staff on the day, our visit to this restaurant really made our weekend in London. You have set the bar very high for other Indian Restaurants we will visit in the future. See you soon."

Came here with friends on a quiet Saturday lunchtime. A great selection of interesting dishes. Some were exceptionally good, all were tasty. Reasonably priced for central London.

Visited on a Monday evening pre-theatre, it was very quiet. Was pleased to have found a vegetarian only restaurant to try. Food was good enough, came very quickly but was not very warm. Service was quite abrupt and not very friendly. Portions were pretty small,...in particular the rice. When the bill came they added service charge which to be honest for a party of people was not deserving. Overall was quite expensive for what it was. Voir le carte

books, without knowing much about how it is convenient for the theater visit I had planned. very pleased. relatiw small menu, this is not a bad thing. the courts complement each other perfectly all the beside courts work well with the...choice of dosa. there are a few thali decisions that we had more time I would have liked to try. a bit underoccupied in the evening I visited, but the service was charming. very cheap and I will be very happy to return.

We visited Woodlands with high expectations. Unfortunately these were not met. The food was ok, nothing wrong. However the staff didn’t seem to feel it was their task to serve guests. The menu is unclear in that it offers little help in knowing what to...order for two persons. The location has little ambiance and if you sit in the front half of the restaurant you’re caught in a cold draft from the front door every time it opens. All in all: the food is good but that’s about all.

We visited this restaurant as a family visit! So glad to find a South Indian Restaurant near to Piccadilly Circus. One glance at the menu my mouth was watering! Felt like ordering everything! But it being a cold day outside thought it was best to...order vada and hot Dosa with sambhar! Disappointed with the taste of sambhar and green chutney! The red chutney was much better compared to others! Vada was served with same accompaniment! Didn't feel like ordering anything else anymore! Desserts were good! Sadly not the best if you want authentic Indian! Voir le carte

I ordered the Hyderabadi aubergine, with a paratha. I hadn't expected a large portion of aubergine at but was nevertheless disappointed to find just how little I had been given (particularly since it is not listed as a small plate),although it came accompanied with...copious quantities of good sauce. My friend experienced similar disappointment with her thali, which again wasn't very filling and although the quality was acceptable it lacked many vegetables. We could of course have ordered more food, but this would have made it quite expensive. Neither of us have particularly large appetites, but we nevertheless retreated to a coffee shop for coffee and cakes.

We wish we had gone somewhere else. We waited almost half an hour to order our drinks and food, despite the restaurant being half empty. Then all of the food arrived almost at once and in a random order. The starter arrived, then a few...minutes later the poppadoms, then before we had finished either the mains arrived. There was so many plates on the table at the same time that there was no room for the plates for us to eat of off. The staff kept trying to take away dishes that we were still clearly eating from and we had to stop them from doing so. By the time we had finished our poppadoms the mains and breads were mostly cold. I think our entire meal was over within minutes as we tried to...
