"I really wanted this takeaway to be great but I was slightly disappointed. The burger meat itself was fantastic. Great flavouring and they had been seasoned well. Chips were good too and the portions were generous. However the toppings on some the burgers were poor....The blue cheese burgers hardly any toppings. Very few mushrooms and honestly could not taste any blue cheese. I was gutted as this is my go to burger. The onion rings were a bit of a disaster if I’m honest. The oil was clearly not hot enough when they were fried and they just looked like clumps of batter with lots of oil in the bottom of the tray. Would probably try it again in the future as I have sat inside before and the food was great."

"My friend and I visited this restaurant and were seated at a table towards the back. The atmosphere was quirky and had a nice vibe. However, the table we sat at was a bit sticky and could use some sanding and repainting. There were also some flies buzzing around, which was a bit annoying. We ordered a cocktail and a merlot, both of which were very enjoyable. Our server took a while to come back to take our food order after bringing our drinks. We decided to order 5 or 6 small plates as part of a deal. The tofu dish was delicious and highly recommended. The jerk cauliflower wings had a good texture, but we felt that the sauce was very similar to the sweet chili dip for the zucchini. It didn't quite have the jerk flavor, maybe a hint of citrus? The mayo dip was a bit bland. It took a while for our plates to be cleared and for the bill to be brought to us. Despite these issues, we had a decent time because we could chat with each other. We may consider returning to try other items on the menu."

"During our visit to Anglesey from Dorset, we stumbled upon this restaurant on the map and decided to give it a try. We had dinner here last night and it exceeded all of our expectations. The service was excellent, with a friendly waiter who made us feel right at home. The drinks, starters, and mains were all exceptional, and we were surprised by the generous portions for the price we paid (£58 for 2 non-alcoholic drinks, 2 starters, and 2 mains). The quality of the food was outstanding. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning next year. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! "Stayed for 1 night to attend my fathers memorial service. Hazel was amazing from the get go, warm welcome, and very compassionate about the cirumstances. despite me arriving a little early for the 3pm check in she showed me to my room with no problem. Hazel even offered to take me to my next destination when she realised I had arrived by train and then bus to Beaumaris and said she even would have collected me from Bangor if she had known. Had a meal in the evening and it was perfection, all the food is locally sourced and is super fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. Nothing was too much for the staff. It's an old Georgian building and the rooms are cozy. The bed was super comfortable. Staff were attentive and helpful and I was even allowed to use the room after check out to freshen up for my onward journey. I am going to stay again, thank you for making a very difficult time a little easier. Give Ringo a belly rub from me x"
