"The Neckartal has developed into a high-priced host house under new leadership in recent years. We used to be very often here with family or friends and there were dishes that were also appropriate for a host house. There was something for every taste and purse and who wanted to pay gourmet prices went not to the Neckartal but to a gourmet restaurant. During yesterday's visit, we had a CESAR SALAT with a maish chicken breast. The dressing was much too thin (diluted, faded in taste) and collected at the plate floor of the high (Pasta) cellar. While I was busy removing skin and bones from the maize pulp, the buns draped in the plate softened unappetifully and inedible in dressing. Shouldn't you better serve bread/bread on a separate dish/basket so that something doesn't happen? In the past, this was practiced at least here. Everything in everything, tasteful and inexpensive unfortunately disappointing. The Kaiserschmarrn and the friendliness of the service personnel were great."
