"Four Bavarian good eaters make holiday in Berlin. Our plan for Fr., 16.08.2019, starting from Potsdamm, was a bike tour around the Schwielowsee with a return in the Wildschweinbäckerei. Arriving there at 13 a.m., we were kindly received with the hint: “There are only food from 4 p.m. – this would also be on the street’s noteboard” (which is probably offline, because the Internet is still 12 p.m.). Great disappointment with us, but (swallowed as we are) we planned our route and reported to us for the evening – a reservation was expressly not necessary. After long cycling and wonderful swimming it went back to Ferch. Our cunning stomachs competed from afar with the horror of wild boars... Around 19.45, four hungry figures weren’t very surprised by the welcome of the “Wirt”: “We have already closed the kitchen”. “Why? – just before eight??” “Yes It’s getting dark anyway.”.... The rest is now history."
