"Pros beautiful views of beach, good food, children welcome. Cons clearly understaffed. Very slow service. Starters were forgotten, no apologies when we pointed out mains had arrived before the starters. No air conditioning or ceiling fans and the restaurant has floor to ceiling windows so was uncomfortably hot. Service was adequate but not particularly friendly. The restaurant wasn't as good as the herring place right downstairs, but it wasn't terrible either. The service was quite slow, with a lot of waiting time both to be seated and between courses. The room felt cold, which only made the waiting feel more frustrating. Personally, I'm not a fan of dogs in restaurants. I don't mind them in pubs or other areas of the hotel, but I think it's inappropriate to have them in dining spaces. Overall, I dined in.

This cafe serves excellent food and some really tasty evening meals. All the food is exceptional and me and my wife love coming back here to enjoy the variety of seasonal food. The staff are welcoming, kind and cheery, especially this time of the year December The service is excellent and whenever we did have an issue the staff listened and responded professionally.
