"Just enjoyed afternoon tea at Well Walk Tea Room. Decided to go for the ‘Gentleman’s Tea’ as a change to the normal ‘Afternoon Tea’. Lovely and amazing value at just £16.95 per person. The Tea Room’s decor is brilliant and adds to the whole occasion, as do the very pleasant staff. There is an upstairs room as well and I would advise pre-booking to avoid disappointment (although they were able to accommodate an uncooked table of four whilst we were dining). Limitless tea or coffee of your choice.......the Gentleman’s Tea was an extraordinary meal, loved it......Pork pie, scotch egg, ham, beef, numerous cheeses, crackers, bread buns, pickles, salad and, scones, jam, cream and fresh fruit.. Well done and those other patrons appeared to be very satisfied with their own hearty standard Cream Teas..... Thoroughly recommend the establishment...."

We had a delightful “Well Walk Afternoon Tea”. Staff were very attentive. The food was abundant (and delicious! and the “unlimited house tea” kept flowing! Well worth a visit. As we pre booked early, they gave us the best table upstairs in the bay window.

Our wedding cake looked beautiful and we had lots of comments that it was delicious. Tom at Well Walk was great in the run up and provided three different flavours and enough for 140 guests. The cake was delivered and installed for us on the day. I would definitely recommend working with Well Walk for wedding cakes.

The food was delightful and the service was excellent. I ordered it for my brother-in-law's birthday and my sister, who have been staying indoors due to shielding. I wanted to give them a nice surprise and a special experience for his birthday. The staff were lovely to deal with and very helpful. We will definitely be returning when we are able. Thank you.

Dear Tom, Thank you so much for our delicious afternoon tea to celebrate our shared Birthdays! So kind of you to deliver it for us. It was beautifully presented in a box. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were all fresh and delicious. And included were two bottles of lemonade, two teabags and two lemon hand wipes... We will be back! Best regards, Lorna Linton Hilary Plumtree

I ordered 2 afternoon teas to be delivered to my parents; Well Walk were so efficient and got back to me straight away regarding the order. It arrived beautifully presented (my parents sent a photo) with a note that I had asked to he enclosed. Have eaten at Well Walk before and the food is always delicious, I’m so glad you’re still able to operate even in these difficult times.

Thank you Well Walk Tea Rooms for making my boyfriend's mum's 70th birthday special. She was treated to lovely fresh home made finger sandwiches, cakes, meringues, macaroons, scones with cream and jam, tea and coffee and lemonade delivered to her garden as she is still shielding. There was such a generous portion there were leftovers for the next day and a birthday message was enclosed with the afternoon tea. We will be back!

I contacted Well Walk Tea Room last week to see if they could arrange a surprise afternoon tea delivery for my Mum and Sister who are staying in Winchcombe for the week on holiday. I spoke to Tom via email and he was really helpful and friendly! He delivered the afternoon tea this morning and my Mum and sister are very excited to enjoy all of the yummy treats this afternoon in the sun! They’ve sent me photos and it has arrived nicely packaged and all looks lovely. Next time I am in Winchcombe, I will definitely be ordering an afternoon tea delivery from Tom

Booking at 3pm on a Saturday. Lovely home made cakes included in the afternoon tea. Especially the Victoria sponge. Vegetarian option available for the sandwich fillings. Pasta on the menu had run out. Disappointed teenager. The interior is very quaint, love the mis matched tea pots, cups and saucers. Great concept for a typical English afternoon tea. But the restaurant needs a good clean, smelt very dusty which isn’t a pleasant environment to eat and drink. Chairs uncomfortable and grubby. Service ok, not exceptional. Wouldn’t rush to go back unfortunately as the idea is a great one. What a shame.....

"The story: Two weeks prior, peeking through the restaurant window, I was intrigued to see the kitchen artizans hard at work creating sushi platters that looked vibrant but also elegant. On the 14th November at lunchtime, I was looking forward to trying Kibou as Japanese cuisine is one of my favourites. It's very hard to see the same level of unique variety that Kibou has compared to the few Japanese restaurants I am local to. We wanted to try an array of items and the mini seasonal menu had just been released in time for our visit as well. The food: The Jo Moriawase and New Style Sashimi were great introductions to the first impressions of the quality and range of the dishes available as they were the assortment dishes. Our server provided us with guidance on what we should try first on the Jo Moriawase in order to prevent ending up with eating soggy nori which we appreciated. The Black Cod Nigiri is nothing I have ever tried before so this was also an interesting experience for our tastebuds. My dad has a tough palate to appease but to my surprise, he was satisfied with the Spider Roll Temaki and Chashu Ramen (he thought the pork broth could have been less strong but nonetheless still enjoyed, not like the artificial flavourings you get in an instant ramen if you know what I mean). The Chirashizushi was great for me as I love my sashimi. I didn't realise the yellow portions were actually tamago/egg roll until I tasted it. Some sort of gastronomical wizardry? My mum really lavished the Yaki Udon textures, with the udon noodles having the right amount of nudge needed to chew and biting into the nice crispy outer layer of the tofu. My only regret is not having enough room to try the desserts. Overall, a unique adventure for the tastebuds! The price: If you are extremely budget conscious, perhaps I would not be able to recommend Kibou to you. For a family of three, we were about £40-50 per person. As of my visit, the service charge is 10%. Don't get me wrong though, I think the service charge is fair and reasonable because our experience with the staff we talked to and came by our table were lovely. The atmosphere: Family-friendly but also evening bar feel. Sakura Cherry Blossom and other Japanese-related art themes run throughout the restaurant. The service: We didn't have to wait very long to be seated or served. The waiting staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food. Would I come again?: Yes, as a treat! Plus I want to try the dessert next time! :"
