This is a great place for a business lunch or convivial evening. Lovely service, excellent wine and good food. It’s one of those places where the proprietor is always there and always ensuring you’re happy.

Wine was absolutely perfect. Two out of three meals came overdone the lamb and the steak were both medium to well and we ordered pink and med-rare respectively. A little disappointing for the price but overall would definitely return.

I have always connected vivat bacchus with customer entertainment. it seemed like the kind of place to take suits, attorneys types, or any carnivorous person for a little visit card earning.
