"Liked · Pool was nice, although we had to buy swiming caps to use the pool. Location to visit Etna is great, what an experience, which saved the stay. Disliked · Room was very dated, curtains falling off the rails. Shower screen not working, electric sockets overloaded with multiway sockets which started to smoke when i added a phone charger. Noise! First night there was a concert nearby, not their fault, but they didn't advise us this was going to happen. Next day on our way out for the day they mentioned they had a party that night, loud music until 1am, so little sleep fir us or our children for both nights we stayed. They did say they would refund us and we could sort our own replacement accommodation, but as we were leaving for a booked day out, so we basically had no choice but to live with the noise of night 2. On check out they didn't seem to care of offer any discount/refund even though they failed to communicate about the party on check in, offer us alternate accommodation etc. I refused to pay for a small amount of drinks we had had as a result, which they seemed really un happy about. Also at breakfast things kept running out, no coffee and the staff who are very young seemed to not really know how to handle guests or communicate."

After some negotiating, we got a cleaner, better room. I still do not understand how you can boast a pool at your hotel if you then rent it out to the whole village. The latter was not appreciated at all; especially since for your welcome drink you had to go down to the pool bar and they ignored us completely!

Giornata in piscina a Villa Michelangelo, con la mia famiglia abbiamo prenotato il pacchetto piscina e pranzo con due portate ed acqua, ad euro cadauno. Dobbiamo dire che abbiamo passato un piacevole giornata, siamo stati accolti bene e con il sorriso, ed accompagnati dal bagnino alle nostre postazioni.Pranzo all'aperto, tutti i commensali abbiamo preso vari tipi di antipasto ed era buono, invece i secondi presi, sono risultati discreti, leggermente alti i tempi di attesa. Nel complesso siamo stati bene quindi, torneremo sicuramente.
