Swanky decor, smoky bar with wonderful art work, fantastic drinks, and professional bartenders. Very popular, make reservations if you really want a seat! They also routinely host art exhibits here of local (well, those in Berlin) artists. I love their drink menu -a classic.

it was a good cocktail bar, but the service and the doorman were very rude as the other reviewers had already commented. especially after the covid I thought that the bars must be happy to welcome customers back, but not in the victoria bar it seems. there are many other amazing bars in berlin like bar central or buck and stretch.

Oh well,...there are many other amazing bars in Berlin like Bar Zentral or Buck and Breck.

The old couple that used to run this famous bar seems to have been replaced by hipster barmen but it doesn't matter as they are just as diligent and professional as before. A simple, soothing lounge is inside and the patrons are usually quite...friendly for Berliners. The trick is to get into the place if you are not familiar with where the door bell button is located. ;

We were told that this place was THE cool place. And it is in so many ways. Great decor, extensive drinks list, cool ambience. I tried the Old Fashioned with Tequila, amazing. BUT. This place also has its head so far up its own......You ring...a bell to get in and the door is answered by this old man who is quite possibly the most miserable person alive in Berlin right now. Rude, unforthcoming and did I mention rude. The other totally weird thing was although the ambience was so cool it was utterly ruined by a total lack of atmosphere. No music, no noise, no life. I’d give this place a miss as for me, I’d rather be immersed in the flavour of a place than sat on a stool with no life happening...

My wife and two colleagues were attempting to attend an industry party there tonight and were turned away by a very rude and unprofessional bouncer. They attempted to give the name of the reservation and was told that they couldn’t come in and the door...was closed in their face. A member of the group that the reservation was under then came to the door to speak to them and were told by the bouncer “I’m the bouncer, you speak to me, bar is full they cannot come in”. Realizing they were up against a witless dolt they decided to get a cab and go elsewhere. While waiting for the cab the bouncer started whistling and yelling to get their attention to tell them they now had the privilege of enter...
