"We choose the location because of its convenient location next to the S-bahn line 1 (Friedenau), on our way back of a long bike ride. BUT this is real gem! The staff was not only very friendly and welcoming. It was hard to choose so we got a vegan version of the mixed starter platter. Quite heavy with the fried dishes but very tasty! As a main dish we got okra stew and vegan mixed rice platter. Both super tasty and a large portion. We couldn't even finnish it but they have a deposit system for taking one of their reusable containers. They even have home made vegan naan! Make sure to taste one of the vegan lassis, we tasted passion fruit and lychee and they were both delicious."

I love it here. They also have tofu that I find closely resembles paneer's consistency so much so that I had to double-check Very nice flavours and always very friendly staff! Vegan Lassi also delicious!

I don't have enough to say how much I like this place. menu is not boring, it is not just curry and rice like other places. very friendly people, helpful. drinks are amazing (try maracuja), naan is super soft, dishes are big enough to share. the prices are really fair.

eating was very good, it tasted great. the price was also very fair. the menu is very extensive and has both vegan and vegetarian options, including dishes that use tofu instead of disc wiper, dishes that are sweet based, and dishes that contain soy cubes. updated by previous review on 2020-02-05

Only decided to go there because family lives close by and we were all really happy with this choice. The staff is super friendly and asked us right away if we are vegan to make sure the amuse-bouche is vegan as well. They have a lot of vegan option, so it was really hard to decide, but in the end were all extremely happy with our food. Voir le carte

the mantra is not a typical Indian restaurant, as you know in berlin. it is very simple and stands out through the friendliness and hospitality of the loading staff and the chef. the speciality here is, here no meat or fish is prepared. the food is prepared individually, so it comes to a longer waiting period, but you should definitely buy it! Conclusion: eating and personal are top, always happy!

The Rasam we ordered wasn’t Rasam, but more a type of Dal with fluffed/deep fried bread on the side (Puri). This was standard practise we were told, to meet local expectations. Fine with me, since it was very good. Mixed grill and mixed Byriani were good, although not spicy and a bit too salty for my taste. The standard Pappadum appetizer was not so interesting; good Pappad (low salt), mediocre sauces. They offer a wide variety of vegan alternatives, which I think many can appreciate 1 star). There was no music, which I can appreciate. however the staff were watching movies without earphones, which is less pleasant.
