"The restaurant is situated very near to the famous view point The four posts Cuatro postes . The atmosphere was a little bit odd: old beautiful stone wall and plastic Coca-cola chairs. We ate lunch and my husband chose thin veal stake anf french fries and that was okay. My choice wasn 't so succesful: trout with ham and the salad for both of us. The salad wasn 't very fresh, tomatoes were raw and asparagus was from the can while it is now season time for fresh ones. My trout tasted odd and was full of small boans. The ham wasn 't any better. The service was friendly and they had a menu also in english. The view was good, because you could see the town of Avila and its famous walls. But if you prefer good food and have a chance to choose, so pick another restaurant. Tämä ravintola sijaitsee ihan The four posts -näköalapaikan lähellä, josta on parhaat näkymät Avilaan ja sen kuuluisalle muurille. Valinta osui tähän ravintolaan, koska emme ehtineet lähteä etsimään muita ravintoloita keskustasta. Sisustus oli sekoitus vanhaa kiviseinää ja valkoisia coca-cola muovituoleja. Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja jopa englanninkielinen menukin löytyi. Ja ikkunoista näki Avelan muurineen. Ruoka ei kuitenkaan vakuuttanut. Kahden hengen salaatti ei ollut houkutteleva: salaatit olivat ruskettuneita, tomaatit olivat raakoja ja mukana oli purkkiparsaa, vaikka tuoreparsojen sesonki on parhaimmillaan. Mieheni otti lehtipihvin ja ranskalaiset ja se kuulemma oli ihan ok. Oma valintani ei osunut nappiin. Valitsin taimenta ja kinkkua enkä tyhmänä tarkistanut onko kyseessä file vai kokonainen kala. No tietysti se oli kokonainen ja täynnä pieniä ruotoja. Nekin olisi jaksanut nyppiä pois, jos maku olisi ollut hyvä. Kala ei maistunut miltään eikä suolankaan lisääminen auttanut. Jos siis arvostat hyvää ruokaa, etsi joku muu paikka."

Worst experience in Spain. Total rip off. 6€ for one single raw tomato served with few onion slices 17€ for a mini salad that wasn’t even good…

delicious avileton! I certainly recommend 100%, not only meat, also fish (melight with pisto) desserts were delicious, also very attentive and friendly staff! and on the terrace overlooking the spectacular wall! Voir le carte

Food was nice place was a bit small for the number of tables and the road is very close but the view of the old walled city was great and so was the food the only thing I did not like was when the waiter servered the wine he lent across my plate to serve the others their wine

It was a surprise, which we didn't planned. We didn't read any review, and just on our way out of Avila after visit o great panoramic view point, we saw this restaurant. It looked very simple from outside, but it was full of people, most of them were local. Waiter didn't speak English, so we need to show him to the plates of other local people, and we got the best. The top of all food of course was a Beef medium steak. It was fantastic. Also the traditional Castillian soup was amazing. For a lunch of 4 people we did pay 100 euros, but we took to much food. The spirit of local people was everywhere, they did watch a football game, and it was like a show for us. Highly recommend, but take more...
