"….and Micelios keeps on surprising us. The restaurant was full and the set weekday lunch excellent value at 13.50€ with a good choice of starters and mains. It was really difficult to choose. In the end we both went for the cold new potatoes with slivers of Teruel ham and a spicy Canary island `mojo picón' sauce. Main courses were pork fillets in a cheese sauce and baked cod with a mayonnaise topping. And the portions are generous. For dessert. a yogurt mousse with bits of brownie mixed in. In short, a great meal with mineral water and a rosé wine from Cariñena in Aragón included in the set menu."

"The last time we tried to come here, it looked as if Empeltre had closed down for good as the two founding partners had split up. Luckily, one of them decided to carry on and revamped the restaurant. The food is still good and original. On weekdays there 's a set 3 course lunch with 4-5 choices for each course. The price is a very reasonable 13 euros, including wine, water and coffee. I started with an unusual dish of ´guisantes melosos con morcilla ' (peas in a tasty dark soup with black pudding). Lucky, they have good air-conditioning as this seemed like quite a warming winter dish! My wife´s 'fideua´noodles didn 't have much flavour she said. The second course was chicken filets with a light mushroom sauce. Desserts are not home-made, but the 'After 8 ' chocolate ice-cream with home-made mint foam was a light way to end the meal. The wine was a chilled red; Flor de Añon from Campo de Borja in Aragón. The bread is excellent and they continue to offer small black olives from the Bajo Aragón as an aperitif. Must book; the restaurant was full on a Thursday lunchtime."

"As always, a pleasure to be able to enjoy a parador. The staff is very friendly and attentive, in addition to providing very detailed and very good information about all the options. The bocadillo calatravo , spectacular, very large and very good. The singer-songwriter of Friday night, fabulous. The chairs at the outside bar are very heavy and also uncomfortable. We missed being able to enjoy the balcony in the room, although it was very correct and with attic. We thought it would be convenient to have the pool service, like other hostels like Tortosa, which is also located in a castle, and with these heats it has been very good for us to cool off in it Nearby activities: The guided tours of the company Turismo Matarranya , such as the church, the cloister, which are in the same premises as the Parador. "I can only comment on the Restaurant, that if the Hotel is the same, then we are already talking about Honors. The food is spectacular, with an impressive variety, and all the dishes are very well prepared, presented and delicious. Garnished all with an outstanding staff. I was attended by FIDEL, whom I thank for the treatment, attention and kindness at all times. Very highly recommended."
