"Du kommst als Fremder und gehst als Freund. Ohne grosse Erwartungen besuchte ich die Sonne in Seuzach. Mich erwarteten sehr nette und ums Kundenwohl besorgte Mitarbeiter. So sollte es überall sein. Ich fühlte mich richtig wohl und umsorgt. Ich war schlicht begeistert! Begeistert war ich auch vom Innendesign des Restaurationsbereich. WAU, einfach unglaublich. Gratulation an den Innenausstatter. Stylisch, modern und schick. Hier wird mit indirektem Licht gespielt. Angenehm. Ich möchte noch bemerken, dass es im Untergeschoss ein Paradies für Zigarrengeniesser gibt. Eine Zigarrenlounge welche spannend desigt wurde. Ein weiteres Highlight ist definitiv der sehr gut bestückte Weinkeller. Ein richtiger Hingucker. So etwas erwartet man nicht wirklich, hier in Seuzach, anzutreffen. Welch positive Überraschung. Abrunden möchte ich meinen Bericht mit den Hotelzimmern. Die Zimmer sind modern und sie sind ausgestattet mit eigener Kaffeemaschine. Ein begehbarer Kleiderschrank gehört ebenfalls dazu. Die Zimmer sind dermaßen gut gegen Schall isoliert, man hört von der Strasse her kaum ein Geräusch. Hier stimmt der Preis mit dem Gebotenen überein. Noch etwas zum Kulinarischen. Der Cappuccino war sehr fein. Serviert in einem Cappuccino Glas. Der Schaum behielt seine Konsistenz bis zum letzten Schluck. Genau so habe ich das gerne."

"As I often do, I just look on the internet on a Sunday to see which restaurant is open and so we drove from Lake Zurich to Winterthur and definitely had another very positive surprise in this restaurant! With another very friendly reservation, we drove there according to the navigation and until now I have never heard, seen or read anything about this restaurant or this area high above Winterthur and for that reason alone we were extremely surprised, even though the weather was bad. When we got there, we were immediately escorted to a beautiful table that was already quite impressive with a white tablecloth and cloth napkins, and when we were allowed to study the menu it was finally proven that there are still restaurants with Stihl and with a selection of what others have Restaurants can only dream! Of course we hadn't already eaten from the selection, but what we got was really of the highest quality, even though there were two souls in the background that were completely full and there wasn't a single table around us available and it was just then possible to bring this quality , was really surprising and extremely satisfactory and more than exemplary! My sincere compliments and we will be going there again soon to eat because here in our area on Lake Zurich I don't know of any restaurant with this quality and this selection. I also grabbed the chef there and told him how great we thought it was because you really should pass on the compliments personally when you experience something so positive"

"Well... I'm a bit lacking the right words. As far as food goes, I would say it's pretty normal. Not really made with great love. More like getting out of the kitchen. After about two hours of waiting, nothing could save it. The staff tried as hard as they could. The house is full of guests and is fully booked, so you simply have to plan better in terms of staffing. What I also didn't like was the extreme noise of around 74-8dB for hours, that's significant. I have to say for such an Easter occasion with the family, nothing more. This could really be done better."

"The Bahnhöfli Oberi is my favorite restaurant in Winterthur. Since I (still) live on a subsistence level, I can rarely go out to eat, but when I do, it 's good. Mother invited me to dinner yesterday and so we were guests in the evening. Although it wasn 't our first time visiting the Bahnhöfli Oberi, we were impressed by the charm and of course the food again. I was very stressed in the afternoon and hadn 't eaten anything properly. But when we sat down under the cooling plane trees in the garden restaurant, which is very carefully and comfortably designed, and were served in a very friendly and attentive but yet uncomplicated manner, I felt really comfortable. The garden pub is wonderfully protected from heat and strong sunlight by a hedge and a shady cover of leaves from the plane trees. Red, green and blue lamps are mounted on the plane trees, which provide a pleasant light when it gets dark. The other guests seemed to be engrossed in quiet but cheerful conversations, which created a very comfortable atmosphere. You feel like you 're in a little oasis in the middle of the hectic world. Mother and I both ordered boiled meat salad. I garnished, mother didn 't garnish. We were both really impressed with the salad plates we were served. Both the garnished and the simple boiled meat salad, the plate was beautifully arranged with a variety of salads in different colors, textures and consistencies, some with individually tailored dressing. The portions are generous, so even hungrier individuals like me can get full. I 'll be back"
