this is the best tempo in the UK for a burger, everyything is cooked to perfection, has been founded here in north end portsmouth for about 40 years, I love this place

I have been a regular visitor to Portsmouth since 1987, and Uncle Sam's was my first choice then. Today, it is just as good as it was back then, beating the chain restaurants by far.

This is just a very small takeaway with a few seats to sit inside if you want to. The key thing about uncle Sams burgers is that they seem to be of a much higher quality generally and definitely more delicious. I've been going for years and recommend the chilli burger.

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for many years. The food is always delicious and freshly made to order. My favorite meal is the All Star meal with a garlic burger for dessert. If you enjoy spicy food, I recommend trying the chili burger – it's definitely hot! Cheers to many more years of enjoying Uncle Sam's in Portsmouth.

we have traveled from eastleigh to portsmouth (a 48 mile round trip) just to visit onkel sam, it is so good. I've probably visited most of their shops as if I want a burger and a three-fold thick shake, I'm just doing for the next. Unfortunately, they never had the pancakes today, but I'm happy to forgive it as long as they'll be back soon. if they have never tried uncle alone, then they make it up on their list and they will never go near mc donald’s or burger king again.

when you want buy a burger, you have a certain expectation of what you want from the burger in order to satisfy that craving. you want that juicy meaty hit with a bit of seared caramelised fat crunch texture. you want that sweet mustardy sauce with some tomato ketchup tang in there. and you want the salad to be springy and fresh instead of soggy and slimy. for me, the burger i get from here satisfies all those points. you know what you want from your burger, this is exactly what you want.

I ordered a chicken burger for my child, but she complained that it was cold and made her teeth hurt. I tried the burger myself and found that it was indeed cold enough to make my teeth shiver. Shortly after eating, my child became sick. When I called the restaurant to complain, they were rude and unhelpful, saying "it's not my problem, what do you expect me to do about it" before hanging up. I was unable to resolve the issue with them, so I will be contacting Uber Eats for assistance. I am extremely disappointed as this restaurant had been recommended to me by multiple people.
