"We visited this brewhouse while our cruise ship was docked at Warnemunde to try out some local beer and were super glad we did. We tried all of the beer that was available on tap and enjoyed them all - and even bough a liter to take home with us. We had seen that our cruise ship offered a tour that included this brewery, but instead decided to visit independently which worked out perfectly for us - it was super easy and inexpensive to take the train into Rostock and then the tram to the brewery (Zoo stop; the brewery is right across from the entrance to the zoo. The price of the tram was also included in our train ticket). The beer was reasonably priced and a good selection of German dishes was also available. For English-speaking visitors, an English menu was available and most of the staff had passable English. They also accepted credit cards, which was great for us. If you're looking for souvenirs, the brewery also has a very nice range of reasonably priced beer glasses and t-shirts, all featuring their distinctive, animal-themed beer logos."

Our group went with a cruise tour, though not all drink beer, we all found it enjoyable. Tasty warm out of the oven pretzels and a cute little beer mug as a souvenir.

Ich war bereits mehrmals mit Freunden in der Trotzenburg. Das Bier schmeckt sehr gut, die Preise sind angemessen, die Bedienung ist auf zack, das Ambiente ist gut. Es war nicht unser letzter besuch dort.

Auch bei meinen zweiten Besuch war ich sehr zufrieden. Das Steak ou fur hätte noch ein bisschen größer sein können. Lecker war es dennoch. Auch der Schwedeneisbecher war sehr gut. Der Service war auch wieder gut, freundlich und schnell.

Am Mittwoch ist "Rippchentag"Leider ist die Portion sehr überschaubar für 11,90€ Also wurde als Nachtisch ein Apfelstrudel bestellt, es handelt sich um Tiefkühlkost und auch hier nur eine kleine Portion für knapp 5€ Service war ok und das Bier lecker.

Die Trotzenburg ist ein sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant. Das essen ist sehr gut und der Service sehr nett. Das besondere hier ist, dass man das selbst gebraute Bier vor Ort trinken kann sowie aber auch kaufen und mitnehmen kann. Definitiv eine Empfehlung wert.

Très peu de monde au restaurant mais il a fallu attendre très longtemps pour un panaché et pour le repas. Il y a un bon choix pour les plats mais les entrées sont rares mis à part deux soupes. Pour le plat j'ai pris le "Dorsch" spécialité de la mer baltique mais pas celle du cuisinier ! C'est très rare que je râle mais la c'était top

Nachdem ich eine Empfehlung erhalten habe, besuchte ich nach dem Zoobesuch das Restaurant. Bei 2 gelieferten hausgebrauten Weizen war eins ein typisches " Schüttbier". Das bedeutet warm und ohne Kohlensäure, nicht trinkbar! Nach Hinweis an die Kellnerin wurde dieses nicht kostenlos getauscht, sondern stand auf der Rechnung, null Entschuldigung! Service war freundlich, für Kinder kostenloser Klos mit Sauce. Restaurant was ich im Falle von Hunger empfehlen kann, aber in einem Brauhaus so etwas auf den Tisch zu bekommen geht gar nicht!
