"Trattoria 51, a lovely authentic Italian restaurant, both in food and family. Our party (6) originally had a booking at another restaurant for a birthday meal, however on entering that restaurant, the clientele and decibels were not appropriate for a family affair with two young daughters. Trying to book a table for 6 on a Saturday later afternoon early evening is difficult at the best of times, but running up to Xmas is very difficult. We arrived at Trattoria 51 and the team there were absolutely fantastic! The team were so welcoming, making my daughter's (who were cold and hungry at this stage) feel so comfortable. The team made space for our family party upstairs by making up the tables allocated for another party arriving later that evening. The food was prompt, very nice (pizza and pasta) and not too expensive, the ambience, and atmosphere just right to engage in conversation. I can only thank Trattoria 51 for saving the night for our party and confidently say that I will be returning to enjoy this lovely restaurant soon. Merry Christmas"

wonderful food and atmosphere. Mostly very impressed by their gluten-free options. the garlic cheese brot for example is incredible. will always be able to go back.

really excellent! homemade pasta and lasagne was delicious. the tiramisu was fantastic and the cappuccino perfect! cocktails were also beautiful and strong. the personal was beautiful. best eating and experience in liverpool

Service was excellent, very attentive. Bruschetta starter was very good, steak salad was good, the pesto pasta main course was disappointing (pesto flavour was weak) as were the tiramisu and tart. Will have starter and main next time.

Went here for lunch, even though it was busy, and we hadn’t pre booked, they managed to find a table for two very quickly. Lovely atmosphere, lovely food. Didn’t wait long for food or drinks. Hostess was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Ian Angela.

Lovely atmosphere, we visited as a family of four on a Christmas shopping day to Liverpool. I have Coeliac disease so can't have wheat gluten. All the pizza pasta starter dishes could be gluten-free, which is so refreshing! I opted for a pollo pasta and cheesy garlic bread. My children and husband had pepperoni pizzas and chips, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommended, and we would all happily return on our next visit to Liverpool. The staff are also friendly and accommodating.
