Tossed - Menu

tossed is a place I had not used before, but we were visiting a pit stop, its was slow service, seemed like cheap eating and not worth visiting.

Thought I would try something different as normally always have a subway. Halloumi wrap had two bits of halloumi and full of bland tasting salad over priced and rubbish staff!! Think I will go back to subway!!!

here stopped to breakfast and decided to try something else and was certainly not disappointed by the offered. I ordered the Mexican eggs that were cooked to order and was delicious. the great one here is that they can dinge that they don't like, and...add extras can take off. would definitely recommend.

massiw disappointed in our two ordering-huh was minimal in a pack and I ordered to find extra halloumi in the other, it was small pieces boiled (if any) in the whole thing. both packings were soou bland and overpriced. simply completely tasteless. it was our first and last time to order from there unfortunately. would not recommend it.

I actually make a point about planning motorway trips around visits to Tossed! The food is excellent custom selections and lots of healthy options at reasonable prices far better than most service station offerings. The staff here are very good helpful and...friendly. A nice place to stop and get some decent food with pleasant service.

Having been to Tossed before and been happy this time was very different.I have various allergy problems and other prohibited foods and was always pleased to be able to pick what I liked out of all the containers. This time very young and inexperienced...people told me to look at the tablets. They seemed not to know what was available. I went through the menus on the computer screen and found nothing I was able to eat without having something removed. I went back to the counter told them this and they looked at me then at each other ,shrugged their shoulders and smiled. tossed bye bye Jonathon

The staff tell me half the self service terminals haven’t worked for months and their IT company won’t listen to them, and then I end up not getting a receipt on a terminal that’s meant to be working! The guy then has to read out...my custom salad to the guy making it from the till (not realising I had paid extra for double on some items). I’m already cross that they won’t accept my virtual Blue Light Card (even though I had ID) and then when I ask for a refund, he can’t get the machine to work! Unless you have a Masters in engineering, I wouldn’t bother. Go somewhere that actually make it easy for you to order and pay.

I visited South Mimms Tossed yesterday evening approx I ordered a vegetarian Falafel chipotle Medium Salad. After getting half way through my meal i discovered raw chicken in my salad. I took the salad back to the tossed kiosk and they apologised and gave...me a fresh salad. I am so dissatisfied with this; firstly I am a vegetarian so there should have been No Meat in my salad as i ordered a vegetarian option, secondly the chicken was raw. About hours after my visit (I have not eaten anything since tossed) i started vomiting and have very bad stomach cramps. I believe they have given me food poisoning. Avoid at all costs.

Great ideas, poorly implemented. The outlet has computerized menus and ordering, with only one small menu on the counter and no overhead listings, so immediate effect is unwelcoming, but we persevered. We ignored the menu screen offering to setup an account and ordered breakfasts, paying...at the menu terminal. Three members of staff operated on this late June Saturday morning, one washing up, one behind the scenes preparing food and a operating front of house/chef.
